Amazing breakfast, hot and very delicious food every morning. Perfect view from restaurant windows, hotel has terrace, you can see all Funchal. Wifi very quick, good speed. Hotel is in city center, you can easily reach restaurants, food shops, cable car to Monte palace, CR7 museum. Hotel don’t have a car parking, but next to hotel is Santa Luzia parking (3,40 euros for all day). Staff is friendly, clean hotel, good room. Thank you so much for beautiful holidays ❤️

Our twin bedroom was very clean with plenty of storage space and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean with towels and toiletries included. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices (including wholemeal bread which is difficult to find in hotels). The location of the hotel is very central and most of the tourist attractions are within walking distance. There is a roof terrace with wonderful views over the city of Funchal. Highly recommended.

Good location, you can walk to the city center, Av. do Mar, Av. Arriaga, shopping mall La Vie... Nice room with a small balcony overlooking Rua dos Netos. Very good breakfast with a nice view of Funchal. Staff friendly and helpful.

My balcony was HUGE. I had so much space and had an amazing view. The room was big and had nice furniture to organize my luggage. The bathroom had nice facilities. AC was a good plus in a hot weather. The breakfast was nice. It makes life easier.

I wish there was a drinking water dispenser somewhere in the hotel. Maybe on each floor. I wish the bath was larger. It was quite small and uncomfortable. The air conditioning on my last day just stopped working. I don't know what was the issue. The WIFI was very very slow.

Spacious, very clean room and comfortable bed. Great location. Lovely views at breakfast and from the roof terrace. Good selection for breakfast including fresh fruit , croissants, bread rolls, toast, eggs, cheese and cold meats, cereal and yoghurt. Good cafe/restaurant. Lovely staff 🤗

Improving the coffee and offering fresh fruit juice would take the breakfast to excellent. The bathroom was too small, considering the large room & in the space a walk-in shower and door that opens outwards would be better.

friendly and helpful people at the reception, excellent breakfast, nice location, a bit noisy due to some neighbors talking loudly, a parking space 3 minutes away from the hotel where you can park your car as the hotel does not provide parking slots/ Covid 19 hygiene - top, gloves and masks everywhere, even during the breakfast/ very nice and charming lady at the reception

This is a great-value hotel, simple and a little old and worn (call is "classic"!), but comfortable; the location is perfect; the staff was very friendly and helpful (Ronnie was the best!); it was very cheap, the breakfast was decent with a beautiful view. Overall, we got more than we expected and more than we paid for. Thank you!

This is not a luxury hotel! It's a basic and cheap accommodation and feels a bit old and worn... but, again, for the price this is more than okay!

Great room with super comfy beds! We also had a balcony. The hotel is located a couple of minutes away from the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. Be aware that the hotel is located on a one-way, narrow street with no parking possibilities. We used the "blue" parking spots near the hotel (on top of the hill). The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had! Very diverse, 3 types of milk, a lot of fruits, and more bread types, croissants, and other cookies, and a lot more! On top of that, the view from the breakfast room is breathtaking! Do not miss this hotel if you are in Funchal!!!

This hotel is located in the older part of Funchal and within walking of many restaurants and site seeing venues. It is about a 10-minute walk to the Marine Avenue. The rooms are standard hotel size and fine for two people. There was a small balcony onto the front street. There was often traffic on the street but with the door closed there was minimal noise. The beds (two singles pushed together) were firm and comfortable. The bathroom had a small tub and shower - everything was clean. The air conditioner worked well and was quiet.

The breakfast was fine but avoid the scrambled eggs. They might be reconstituted powdered eggs. The room had a safe, but you had to pay to get the key. That seemed a bit cheap for a four-star hotel.
