Excellent location. Very clean rooms and communal areas. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great rooftop pool, pool towels provided and bath robes. Breakfast was amazing, plenty of choice. Location is central easy access to cars and restaurants. I would highly recommend

Location at the waterfront is fantastic, great view from the balcony. The room is modern and clean, nothing to complain about. Service is good. The breakfast is decent, although nothing special. The WiFi is very reliable, which was important to me as I had to work a bit here and there.

The only thing that bothered me a bit is that on some nights it can get quite noisy because of partying outside, especially on the weekend. For travelers who prefer absolute quiet at all times, this is not the best place.

My stay at CR7 was absolutely amazing! The location is unbeatable, with a stunning sea view, even with cruise liners in sight. The rooms were spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided complimentary drinks and assisted with everything from car rentals to parking. The culinary experience was outstanding – freshly made omelets and eggs showcased the chef's skill, and the overall freshness and taste were exceptional. I highly recommend CR7 for a perfect blend of luxury, breathtaking views, and top-notch service. It made my time in Funchal truly unforgettable!

the rooftop pool was amazing!! Loved the Ronaldo theme and museum! Great location, easy to walk to nearby attractions & restaurants. The bed was very comfy, no complaints!

Needs a bit of TLC, maybe update the facilities. The carpet in the lobby needs updating, the walls are very thin, heard the couple next door during the night.

The room was comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic, and the staff was outstanding! The value was very good. The location was excellent-close to Old Town and many restaurants. The amenities were very good-we especially enjoyed the hot tub. Also, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Wish we could remember all their names. Michaela (sp?) was especially helpful with recommendations on enjoying our stay.

We had a problem with some noisy neighbors. The staff graciously moved us to another room, where it was quiet.

I like your receptionists. Both boys were nice to mee. I like them. I like girls from room service - they were nice. I like your guests they were nice as well. Generally I like everything. I was really happy there for one day. It was nice change from regular problems. It was my favourite day since 2020. I left a present and funny suprise. I hope you found it :D and I will get back my cindirella shoes one day haha I love it . Everything. It was relaxing and funny. I hurt my head in swimming pool but it was my fault. I forget it is not a lake 😊🫣

Really helpful, friendly staff. Well-appointed room with a great view of the sea (most of the time), and the street carnival. A pleasant 5 minute walk to town, on the level, without having to walk on the main road. Very good breakfast.

Several cruise ships arrived during our stay and (with the hotel being practically quayside) docked very close to the hotel. This was mostly ok, but so close on a couple of occasions that all we could see when the curtains were opened was a row of bedrooms on the ship, with people looking right back at us! This wasn’t the end of the world, but on one occasion there was a big party on board the cruise ship docked nearest to us that went on well after midnight. This was so deafeningly loud it was impossible to sleep, the furniture in our room was vibrating with the music! Also, just a small niggle that the hotel WiFi wouldn’t stretch out onto the balcony.

During my trip, I managed to visit three hotels in Madeira, and I want to say that after comparing the three, there were several points in this hotel that I want to highlight. First of all, the breakfast - for my food preferences, it was perfect. I really liked the delicious exotic fruits, very tasty and varied pastries, delicious ham, polite staff, and beautiful view - everything you need for a wonderful breakfast. In general, the service at the hotel is very thoughtful: upon check-in, I was offered a welcome drink; in addition to standard water, the minibar also contained free local soda; in the TV guide I could find all the necessary information about accommodation, and even the restaurant menu; also, I found a diffuser for curly hair in the closet, and believe me, this happens extremely rarely. The location of the hotel was perfect for me. The hotel is located on the waterfront near the port, where you can watch various ships, yachts, and people doing water sports such as paddleboarding all day long. Across the street is a nice park with a very pleasant panoramic view, through which it is easy to get to the city center. All in all, I would definitely stay here again

This is not a weakness, but rather room for improvement, I wish there were a few more non-fast food dishes in the evening menu.

Breakfast was excellent. Wide variety of fresh fruits and juices, 5-6 different pastries, 6 different breads, different cereals and nuts/seeds, warm food (eggs, bacon, sausage, pancake, cooked vegetables - eggplant, zucchini, mushroom, pepper, beans), different cheeses and hams... and even extras on request for free (e.g. fried eggs, ham and eggs). The staff were very helpful and kind at all times during our stay.

There is a bar in the building where the hotel rooms are located (the rooms are only on the first floor along a long corridor) - and there was pulsating music on Friday (until 6 a.m.) and Saturday (until 7 a.m.) nights in the bar. It is not loud music, the rooms are soundproof enough but you can feel the beats if you are not a good sleeper or you already slept just enough.
