Aldeia Azul Resort

Lovely calm feel to the resort. Staff were excellent particularly in the bar and restaurant. The food is very good. The facilities are amazing. I actually really like that cars have to stay in the car park and can only be driven to the chalets when arriving or leaving. It adds to the feeling of calm and the aesthetic of the place.

The gym equipment is really good and in great condition but the room is a bit cramped. Welcome on reception was very good but a bit on the cold side afterwards.

We have been to Aldeia Azul for the third time. We like the location because it perfectly fits to our expectations. We like going to the beaches on the west coast which we can reach in about 30 minutes. Also we the city of Lagos with many shops and options for activities. This time we want to mention the extraordinary staff. The people at Aldeia Azul have been very friendly. Particularly we want to mention Liliana who is a Lagos local and who gave us a lot of tips where to go. Also she has been utmost friendly and we therefore came to restaurant at Aldeia Azul many times.

It was our first experience in Portugal. We chose Aldeia Azul for our first free nights, the apartments were really clean and in good condition, it has everything you need for a longer stay, kitchen with all kitchenware, washing machine etc. Our apartments have been with a mezzanine and we had a terrace facing the garden, which gave us a nice view for dinner. As it's a family resort, it has a nice shallow pool for kids, mini golf, and other sports. I believe we have been off peak season, so there weren't many people so we were enjoying a calm environment.

Everything has been great with this place.

Spotless clean and staff were lovely. Definitely need a car. Very quiet area nothing within walking distance. Exactly what we wanted, to be off grid and have a chilled holiday. Bar and restaurant were going through some changes when we arrived so for and drink stopped at 10pm not midnight as advertised. Would go again though. Fab gym and pool area, the grounds are immaculate.

Staff were very new at the bar and restaurant. They did there very best and with time I would hope the service will speed up and the cocktails get better with practice. Only minor things, for example running out of beer on tap and not having the bottles in the fridge chilled etc. This is obviously due to lack of experience. Apart from slight improvements in the bar and restaurant area the place was great for a family quiet holiday 🙌

Awesome, cosy, spacious and super clean house with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Extensive selection of leisure offers included. Beautifully created and well groomed outdoor area with sports facilities and recreational areas. All sports equipment is available at the reception. Nice pool area with adjacent bar and restaurant. Lagos is reachable by car within 10 min. All beaches and locations near Portimão, Lagos, Sagres and Carrapateira are reachible within approximately not more than 30 min by car. We extended our stay for 4 more nights due to all of the mentioned topics before. We can absolutely recommend this resort. If you're travelling without a rental car and want to join nightlife in Lagos, this resort might not be the right accommodation for you due to its location a few minutes outside of Lagos (this is not a negative point at all, just an advice)

size of the house/room and activities available (no yoga classes but it’s advertised with that). swimming pool with a nice bar. good value for money

when trying to do an early check-in I was received with a strange response. I was driving for almost 2h30 and the lady at the front-desk was a bit rude without even letting me drop my luggage somewhere so we can go to the beach. the reception called after letting me know once it was ready and after that everyone was supper friendly but that first impression was not great. a bit far away from the beach.

Room great, nice to have space, good terrace. Staff wonderful, so helpful and informative Free filtered water was great !

The beds were really really firm, on the edge of uncomfortable. A car is a must as its not really in walking distance of any restaurants or bars. More family orientated as it was noisy with children at the pool side. Not really a quiet couples retreat.

the house we stayed in was amazing. we had a balcony overlooking the pool which was lovely and it was exceptionally clean. the location was fantastic as it was away from the hustle and bustle of Lagos but close enough to go there for meals. Fantastic service from all of the staff and we can’t wait to go back!

There was nothing we disliked about the property.

simply amazing If you came to the Algarve region by car, it is one of the best options you can stay in, considering the price-quality balance. The houses have kitchens. very stylishly furnished. Each house has a terrace. The hotel had a beautiful pool that our son never wanted to get out. parking available. We went everywhere with our car. The hotel is close to the city center. The staff is very friendly. Thank you all

This hotel went anove and beyond our expectations: looks even better in real life. The territory is huge and very well equipped. A lot of facilities are offered: gum, volleyball, football. The house we lived in was very clean, specious and had everything we needed. The personal was very polite and helpful, and they restaurant was top! Try octopus with cheakpee puree)
