Canadiano Urban Nature Hotel

The hotel is modern, well located, accessible from the center and has everything for a nice stay. The parking space is really a big plus, as the parking spots on the street can be difficult to find in that area.

The breakfast needs to be improved; I agree with previous comments that the variety offered is poor, especially regarding fruit and jams, I was expecting more options. Also the reposition of missing products can take some time. They would charge 2€ for the bottle of water that they leave in the room, which is normally a courtesy in most of the places, that was strange.

We stayed for 6 nights. Excellent location; close enough to city center for walking, but easy to drive out of the city. Hotel well designed around a courtyard and separate lot with ample parking. Staff efficient and professional. Room was much larger than expected; spotlessly clean and well appointed. Lighting in room and bathroom both excellent. Shower was perfect. Bed was very comfortable. Wi-fi reliable and fast. Nice to have a small balcony. Breakfast was very good. Overall, excellent value.

Nothing to dislike

I had an accommodation in Canadiano Urban Nature hotel in period between September 3 and September 11, 2023. Everything was extraordinary and great: locaton, accomodation, food, personnel. Specially, I need to say big thank you to Maria Rodrigues, front office. If you are in some kind of dilemma and unknowledge, she is the person on which you can rely in every situation. She made my time on Azores unforgettable and beautiful. Thanks a lot and best regards from Belgrade (Serbia)

Great location and wonderful staff. Breakfast is awesome and coffee is the best. Reception was willing to make changes to our breakfast plan, accommodating free breakfast for the day we checked in vs departure date. Beds was comfortable and had no issue at all. Location is convenient, can leave the car and walk downtown. Highway is near and overall very good location. Definitely stay here again.

Parking in the back of the building was a bit tight, perhaps they can pave the additional parking behind the hotel. Never the less, love the free parking.

We liked everything in the hotel - cleanliness, condition of the room, friendliness of the personnel and their desire to help in our comfort stay and to recommend us best sightseeings and ways to get there. The only problem we experienced was that: our rooms windows are on the Rua da Contador side, and it was very noisy. There is a 24/7 working bakery, and its workers loudly speak and yell all the night. Except this circumstance, we were very much satisfied with our stay in the hotel.

Very clean, extremely kind staff, very quiet property, lovely balcony with each unit, perfect sized bathroom, large room! What’s not to like with this all?? :) it was perfect!

Initially when you enter, there is an odd smell that was in the room. It could have simply been the smell of the flora and fauna post the rains. This odour does linger on a bit. But that’s literally the only issue I had with my stay!

Everything I needed and nothing I didn’t need. Great room, great AC, 10 minutes walk from heart of downtown, convenient parking and included high quality breakfast. Strongly recommend.

Only drawback is that if you have a room on the street it is not sound proofed. Another source of noise was the room with a connecting room to mine. If you get an internal patio facing room without connecting doors this hotel is utter perfection. I looked forward to arriving each evening after a hard day of sightseeing.

It exceeded my expectations! The room was very spacious, the cleaning staff super thoughtful - they would leave us little hearts and flowers, it was a lovely touch. Honestly, the entire Canadiano team was amazing, thank you for making our stay feel like home. Breakfast is pretty nice too. The location is perfect - close to everything. Free parking. If we ever go back to Açores, this is where we'll be staying.

Room isn't soundproof at all. People are very quiet but if you don't wake up early enough, you may find yourself a bit annoyed by all the noise coming from the breakfast lounge / other rooms.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in a great location. Staff are friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety. Rooms are extremely clean, facilities were very good, and the air conditioning was a godsend. The laundry service was efficient. Overall, it was a great experience for us.

It was just a shame that the adjoining bar/restaurant wasn't open on our trip due to staff shortages.

Very good hotel with free parking which is a must in Ponta Delgada for the rental car. Good breakfast, comfy beds and very good shower. All you need after a long day of walking and hiking on the island:)

The only thing to suggest would be a little more variety at breakfast. Food was great but with most of things repeating.. in 4 days a bit of more options would be nice
