City Hotel Bucharest

The price was great. The cleaning staff were very nice. There was a small store just outside the front door of the hotel.

You can hear everything going on inside the hotel in your room. If you are a light sleeper this could be an issue. I am nearly certain my room wasn't cleaned by cleaning staff before I checked it. I'm pretty sure that I made my reservation after the cleaning staff went home because a lot of things were forgotten in the cleaning process. The beds were made quite sloppy, the trash had not been emptied from the bins, and a dirty glass was still on the nightstand. The towels, bed,toilet, and everything did look like they were cleaned properly though.

the property is in a convenient location and has good parking. it is a busy area but takes an hour to the airport due to the traffic. check in was easy if a little unfriendly from one member of staff.

noisy guests leaving at 5Am. rooms are fine but not luxury, smell from the shower drains was pretty rampant. otherwise, all good.

Decent room with funcional air condition.

There were quite few cockroaches in the room.

The room was clean, air conditioning on to keep it cool, fresh towels, shower gel. The rooms are cleaned every morning. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Location great, next to the boulevard, free private parking in front of the hotel, free wi-fi, small fridge in the room.

Location nearby subway, bus and tram. Served breakfast was good and prepared at time.

Minor leak on sink waste pipe, but nothing dangerous, maybe a loose towel bracket was any minor disadvage, but still nothing serious. Way better than more expansive alternatives I have seen yet :)

Basic room, pretty good for a one or two night stay. Best part is free parking right in front of the hotel and you have tram stop in front as well. Guy at reception was very helpful.

A very good place to stay for business trips in the capital or for sightseeing in the city, which was our case. The hotel staff is very friendly and everything is as described on the page.

Despite what I read about this place prior to booking, it was quite a good experience. Staff was polite, the place was clean and good value for the money.

The staff of this hotel is friendly and highly professional. The location is excellent. Finally, the hotel provides free parking, which is quite hard to find in that region of Bucharest.

The fridge was rather noisy, so I decided to unplug it for the night. The room was rather small, but the bed was comfortable.

The staff was very polite and helpful, even when I lost the hotel card. The room was very clean and hot during the winter. The cleaning of the rooms was accomplished every morning. The bus station is right across the hotel.

The bath was a little old and the bed was kinda ranch, but nevertheless comfy. I didn't mind at all.
