Hotel Sir Orhideea

I liked that the room was very compact. The bath was great, bed was comfortable and a Kaufland was on the way to the train station. Although the hotel was very close to large broad streets, I didn't feel like it was that loud.

One electrical-sockets was not usable, but all of them heated up my charger quite a bit which is why I unplugged them for some time.

The staff was friendly. The room is small, but clean and well equipped. The hotel is close to subway and bus/tram stations. The parking lot is not owned by the hotel, but I was lucky and I found a free spot.

I had a room with a view of the Basarab bridge and it was noisy from the cars passing on the bridge.

Very close to the subway station and to a nice supermarket. The TV had a good variety of channels. Powerful air conditioner. I always found empty spaces in the parking lot under the bridge, where I could see the car from my window. Cleaner than I have expected (reading the reviews before booking).

The Wifi signal was pretty weak, especially in the evening. If you are 6 feet or taller, watch out for the second set of stairs in the stairwell, because the ceiling is lower than it appears (better take the elevator)! The bathroom fan was pretty noisy.

Room was quiet, clean, personal very friendly, helpful, speaking English 🙏🏻 I would recommend u and come again.

Housekeeping wake me up around 13:30 and asked to go to reception, she didn’t know that we booked late check out till 16:00. We were traveling for 3 days with kid and wanted to rest and sleep. But stay in hotel was good and personal are nice. Thank u)

The location is excellent, the metro is close. An excellent choice for this price, the rooms are clean, comfortable.

During the previous stay there was breakfast, now there is no such possibility, it would be good to return, because both for business and tourist trips it is necessary for a more comfortable stay.

What did I like? I liked everything, I arrived very early in the morning and had no where else to go, booked the hotel and immediately went and checked in ASAP! Some would require you to wait and check in at 2pm bit Hotel Sir Orchideea is not an ordinary hotel, it's a good place to stay if you're a foreigner or a person of color too.

Staff were great, very welcoming and accommodating to my changing requirements. The room was clean and great value for money.

The location meant I had to get a cab to the Old town and back, and it would have been nice to have in-room coffee making facilities. Coffee is available for purchase in the lobby.

Great location. Very easy to get from Gara De Nord. Friendly staff. Open to any guest's reguest. Small, but well-equipped rooms, very cozy ones. Highly recommended.

Hotel just need to check their address line on Booking.com, as it led us to wrong destination. That's all

It's a clean and comfortable hotel, good price for Bucharest. Location is convenient if you are taking the bus to Tulcea from Augustina bus station. The lady at the reception was very kind.

There were no toiletries, not even hand soap. The location is convenient for trips to Tulcea but other than that, not so great, the North station is about 20 minutes walk.
