The hotel is situated in a great location, a 5-minute walk from Place de Catalunya. The staff was very nice and helped us with everything we asked for. The hotel is very clean; everything is always well maintained.

The only negative aspect I have to mention is the lack of soundproofing. In our room, we could hear everything happening on the street—cars, ambulances, and people talking loudly. Additionally, we were able to hear everything from the hallway, such as people talking and doors opening

Great breakfast, staff. Location is fine. Cleaning is perfect, good room.

The hotel is not a modern and bit dated. The price is bit high

The room was spacious, functional and bathroom was clean. I had two sinks, one in the room and another in the bath as well. I have poor eyesight so the 10x movable mirror was so much help in getting my makeup done. I like that they have full sized mirrors because not all hotels have it. Location was perfect, so close to all the landmarks in the city center, so close to Ramblas, Gothic area, the Cathedral, shopping centers, cafes, etc. Staff were so helpful and they let me keep my heavy luggage two days earlier to my check-in date because i travelled to Madrid with my backpack and had been from another hotel. Metro subway and train were located nearby. Also had a mini fridge and iron inside the room.

I enjoy drinking a hot beverage in my room before bed. It would have been great if they provided a water kettle or a basic Nespresso machine.

The room was great, with a modern feel and spacious balcony. We enjoyed the coffee machine especially, it was much better than a standard kettle! The location and staff were lovely also. It's very close to the shopping district, cute cafés and hip bars. We always had something to do or find in the evenings close to the hotel. Both the reception and restaurant staff were also great as mentioned. Our queries were always answered with professionalism and enthusiasm. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely consider staying at the Atrium again in the future!

The facilities in the room are visibly older, although still function fine. It would also be great to upgrade to a heavier air conditioning system in the room as the large windows make the room warm up faster than the current system can cool it.

Location was excellent…staff went above and beyond…breakfast was phenomenal…room was beautiful - top floor with a large terrace overlooking Gran Via de les Catalans… However - the A/C does NOT work very well… but luckily, I talk6to the front desk staff and they brought me a fan which completely resolved the problem… to be fair … It was a huge heatwave at the time… A special call out to Caterina at the front desk, Jay and and Jaid in the restaurant/breakfast area for excellent customer service skills🙏

Air conditioning system in rooms needs to be revamped… Also – the common areas of the stairwells and the corridors on the floors are not air-conditioned so it’s very uncomfortable in the summer 

Located at the center within walking distance of most of the places to visit- Barcelona Cathedral, La Ramblas, Port Vell. The metro is 5 minutes away from the hotel. Very clean and good sized rooms, considering Europe. The hotel staff very courteous- they brought me a kettle when I requested. I had an early morning train, so they helped book a cab to go to the station. Would highly recommend.

Breakfast is expensive

We had reserved only 1 stay of 2 nights. Our flight was delayed and our 1st night plans had to change. They were kind and found a room for that 1st night as well. When we needed to depart for our cruise after the 3rd night there was an event surrounding the hotel and area. They let me use a hotel luggage cart to move 2 weeks of luggage 3 blocks through the event to the nearest available taxi to the port. My wife reminded with the luggage while I returned the cart. They refused to accept a deposit on the cart and even apologized that the had no staff on hand who could carry our bags that far for us! It's an old quirky building which has been very nicely updated in every valuable way while retaining the style and beauty of the Exaimple. They have very quiet interior rooms (our 1st night) and fabulous street view rooms with Juliet balconies. We preferred the street. The door to the balcony was high quality and kept street noise out quite well. Bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms are quite nice, modern, clean and with all you need. Towels are very nice. TV has many channels with many languages of which at least 3 are in English. Wifi was great. Location is fabulous! Staff was so accomodating and kind. Very good at recommendations based on answers to questions they ask to ascertain your preferences. Extraordinary at giving info such as directions in a way that makes sense to English speakers. We loved it! Less than a block away is a hotel charging 3 times as much or more. This is a beautiful place. I almost hate to recommend it as I fear on my next visit I will have difficulty finding a room. Our room was beyond perfect and I'm not telling which one or why!

The floor covering in the rooms (not the bathrooms) is a resilient style used often in flip remodels in the US. It just doesn't hold up well and has that hollow sound walking on it. Tile throughout would be better. They use great tile in bathrooms. Some wood trim shows a bit of wear in the rooms. There is a product available which will cover and restore the appearance of the trim which had been hit by furniture or luggage without a full remodel or harming the amazing charm of the place. This is knit picky but I had to come up with something.

The location is perfect! The bed was very comfortable and the room is big. The facilities are very good, a bit old, but, very comfortable and nice!

We stayed in room 211, and unfortunately, when the guests above were taking showers or the water was running, we could hear the water, like it was coming in our room, it was a bit strange and we could not sleep because of this in the first night. Also, you can hear everything in the hallway and when the guests above are walking through the room.

Location of hotel in Barcelona is excellent. Many transportation options are within walking distance. We stayed here many years ago and remembered that we loved it. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful.

This is very important. Before someone breaks their neck, you have to do something about the bathtub/shower in Room 405. It is very slippery and both of us almost fell. You need to install a hand rail where you step into the tub and also put a rubber mat inside. Another thing we would have liked is a US based news channel. MSNBC would be perfect.
