Negresco Princess 4* Sup

All the staff were so helpful and friendly when our group of 7 women arrived for our trip to Barcelona, especially Miriam on the front desk. She booked the City Tour bus for us and recommended a fantastic restaurant with live music and Tapas for dinner which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Miriam went out her way to check that we were having a good stay and that we enjoyed our night at the recommended restaurant. The hotel was spotless and in a great central location. The rooftop pool and terrace was an added bonus which was utilised and enjoyed by the whole group. when I come back to Barcelona I will definitely book this hotel again.

There wasn’t anything to dislike about the hotel.

THE COST OF THE BAR ON ROOFTOP WAS PROHIBITIVE . COULD ONLY HAVE ONE OR TWO DRINKS DURING VISIT. FOOD SAME. ONLY GOT A SHARE DISH ONCE. We thought we could cope with extremely small room by using rooftop but that certainly wasn’t an option, Size of pool area meant people were lying at your feet and around you and top of ladder. But it was very hot weather. No English speaking programs on the television.

Room and bathroom great. shower sensational. Bathrobes and complimentary initial mini bar a treat. Balcony was spacious with view. Bed comfy. paid extra for breakfast and it was delicious. Pool crowded in afternoon but had a great relax there earlier in day.

Nothing we didn’t like. Maybe pool area was definitely more a young people’s area in the afternoon/evening but we still enjoyed time there.

The room was nice and modern with a brilliant shower. The check-in experience was great and the complimentary cava was a nice touch. The rooftop bar (reasonably priced) / swimming pool is the perfect place to go to after wandering around the city on a hot day. The location is fantastic for access to Placa de Catalunya and lots of night cafés, bars and restaurants within a short walk.

Although we had a window in our room, it looked into the central atrium of the hotel. We weren't aware of this until checking in and this gave us issues about privacy and lack of view to outside. There should be an easier way to order drinks at the pool without having to walk through the terrace bar to get a drink.

This hotel was so lovely, clean, in and excellent location and reasonably priced. The staff were all so lovely from start to finish and always very helpful.

The pool was too busy and didn’t get using it.

Location was amazing (less than 5 minute walk from the Plac De Catalunya) and the roof top bar and pool is one of the best views and places to relax in the city. We upgraded to a superior room and the super kingsize bed was very comfortable and the air con in the room was excellent and very quiet. The rainfall shower was excellent and the complimentary items in the mini bar was very appreciated.

The only drawback was the lack of coffee making facilities in the room and as we didn't opt for including breakfast we had to go out to get our morning coffees.

the views were beautiful, the room was immaculate, even to the little details of adding the birthday package was fantasticly done!

The room was very nice and guilty had a very large balcony on the back of building. The shower was amazing, great pressure and hit water. The breakfast was great as well. Full American style and European style as well.

The restaurant was only open for lunch and the bar in lobby only opened after 7 so it was hard to use. They do have a sauna by the pool but it closes when the pool does so I never got to use it. Which was a downer for sure. Would have been great to end the day that way.

Hotel is gorgeous - the lobby is grand and a wow factor when you enter the hotel. Rooms are clean and modern with quite a bit of space as well, the hotel is in a really good location, Barcelona is very big so you cant be by everything but this is walking distance of La Rambla, Casa Batlo, Sagrada Família, L’Arc De Triomf & Parc Citudella! We didn’t use trains but there is a train station close by. The staff were all so nice and welcoming here from check in staff, to bar staff to the security! It was my birthday while we were in Barcelona that my boyfriend notified the hotel of and on the day they knocked on our room and delivered a personalised birthday message, a cake and two mini bottles of champagne it was such a lovely touch! Roof top bar is surprising I didn’t expect it to be so nice with a great view! The pool is lovely too (not huge) - area is kept nice and clean and the staff up there are very friendly!

Pool area could do with more seats/beds around as there is space for it but only two double seats in the far corner
