Don Moustache Boutique Hostel

Location was good. I Just had to search a little bit for the front door. Hostel was very clean and the facilities were good even when the building/inside was what old. Breakfast was good .there were 2 kinds of bread that you can toast. Cheese or ham? To choose from etc. you could take cereal / Milk/juice/ thee of coffee. Or make your own meal in the kitchen. Stuff that you bought like food you could place in there. The employees were very open to help you with all the questions that you have. The time I was there it wasnt busy so that was Nice. Every day I got new sheets on the bed.

I can not think of one thing that I didnt like in the time that i stayed there.

The staff was nice and all common spaces were actually clean. Most important, felt safe during my staying there. In the morning they had coffee/tea and cereals for free which was nice.

There was a schedule for shower time and common area which was a little bit unexpected and during the night you couldn't use the kitchen at all. But that was not such big of an issue for me.

The beds were really good, the mattress and pillow were covered with waterproof material under the sheets, so no residue smell of sweat or anything like that could be noticed. It gave me extra sense of cleanliness. I felt chill at night but the hotel staff gave me extra blankets. The Superior dorm room is divided into areas which is great for privacy. The lockers were spacious and free to use (10 eur deposit for a lock if you dont have your own). The breakfast was good, toast bread, butter, jam, cheese and ham was provided, along with milk, orange juice, coffee, tea and two types of cereals. You can also store food in the fridge and cook there. The hangout area was great too with a large sofa, reading materials and TV. The location is 5 minute walk from metro station (Tetuan), and 9 minutes walk from Catalunya square.

The noise/phone use policy in the bedrooms could be improved. And maybe a notice in the bathroom for men to flush toilet after EVERY use. I was staying in the mixed dorm but because of cleanliness, I used the other toilets attached to female dorm.

Staff were helpful. At check-in, they explained in detail about each room, including the common areas and shower rooms. They also advised us about famous tourist attractions.

The shower room was smaller than expected. And there are no shelves to put clothes, so it would be good to bring your stuff in bags that can be hung on hooks.

Great location great staff and cert well layed out

way too dear for a hostel,1 night cost me 50 odd euro in a room with 13 or so beds! I understand inflation and how it works but alot of ppl are just taking advantage of the current situation,its a hostel! demand should not matter, just set the price of the room and first come first served no??

Great location and solid furniture for a hostel.

You can't shower when you want to and there were limited shower options as one wasn't working

We booked the private room, so everything was very clean. Location is amazing, placa de catalunya is just 10 minutes away by foot. Staff is great.

Room has no window, but AC is very good. Also, would've been great if you could close the bathroom or wc doors.

The SriLankan Girl helped me alot she simply made my Stay - Flexible checkin and out - Organization of activity and cleaning with beautiful smells all over the place

They need to mention in Booking that there are no Mixed Rooms - This is a single gender room

It was very clean and well kept,, and the staff was great. They give good advice to live the city at best. If felt safe to me as a solo traveler.

Breakfast could be better even on a tiny budget. And some rules are not as useful, in my opinion. I would have liked to be able to access the living room area at all times.

This hostel was in a great location, and the staff was amazing! They were always so helpful and personable. The hostel had nice facilities as well! It was a great deal, especially since they provided towels as well as free breakfast.
