Great breakfast (selection, products, staff, rooftop location); special needs could be accommodated (gracias!); Car park spots in front of hotel; all staff were helpful and friendly

Waterpressure can be improved; room size of 20sqm are only 20sqm; sound insulation of the door is lacking (when the neighbors came home late at night the door banged so loud ... Same for room cleaning etc)

I liked the location it was only 5min walking from Casa Batlo 15 min from la rambla street many shops and cafes around the area. the room is very clean and quiet. the staff are very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast variety in the hotel’s roof.

the only thing that there’s no Kettle, tea/ coffee in the room. other than that everything was lovely .. I definitely recommend it!

The location of this hotel is superb - it's extremely central surrounded by wonderful little cafes, bakeries, ice-creameries and bars. The staff of the hotel are remarkable - they have been nothing but friendly and most helpful every single day of our stay - always greeting us with a smile.

The room was very small. We stayed in the hotel for 9 days and it did feel a bit claustrophobic. The room didn't have a wardrobe or even a place to put your suitcase so it felt like we were living in an open suitcase. The shower design meant that each time you showered, the bathroom floor would fill up with water.

This was a lovely hotel in a great location. The first positive that pops to mind are the lovely staff, who speak great English and always say hello with a smile whenever you enter. The rooms were well-equipped and very funky, with spacious bathrooms. The rooftop terrace/bar and pool is also great, as is the downstairs lounge. What's more, Cram was excellent value for money, and was way nicer than the previous hotel we'd stayed at in Amsterdam which was nowhere near as nice for nearly double the price.

We would have loved a kettle in the room, which sadly was not available! The shower was also a little strange, as you have to step under the shower head in order to turn the tap on... immediately getting wet unless you could quickly dodge the spray. Lol! Finally, it would have been great if there was a gym, but that's okay.

The hotel has a great central location for exploring Barcelona and is near many amenities, including two Gaudi homes and some excellent restaurants. The room is perfectly sized with very a comfortable bed and bedding. The property has very unique circular bathrooms with circular access balcony that is open to a 7 story clerestory skylight…beautiful! Our room had a small balcony facing the street corner. When open, there is a lot of traffic noise, but the windows are very sound insulated. Finally, the 7th floor lounge has great views of the city. We had breakfast and dinner cocktails here several times.

Some type of cleaning perfume is used to clean the hotel. It is too strong, and for those of us that are allergy sensitive, it causes discomfort. We left our balcony door open for a few hours and that was enough to diminish the intensity of the smell. Some of the bath tile, shower pan and plumbing fixtures are beginning to show wear and tear. An interior facelift will be needed soon. The toilet does not flush properly. There is too much resistance to the button so you have to keep pushing to get it to flush sometimes.

Mattress quality

We found the location to be great for seeing different parts of the city by foot. The rooms were very clean. The outdoor space on the roof was why we picked The Cram and it did not disappoint! We enjoyed the breakfast in the am. The staff was very accommodating and the food delicious! We cooled off in the pool during the afternoon and went for the drink to close the night and enjoyed the views!! Would recommend to anyone staying in Barcelona!!

The bedroom was very clean and had min. places to sit down, needed a bigger chair or somewhere to sit other then the bed. The elevator would not come up unless you pressed down which made the wait longer to go to the terrace.

Excellent location in Eixample - three blocks to the closest metro station. 00's decor with simple furniture - lots of storage space. Beds comfortable and nice collection of pillows. Staff amicable and helpful. Breakfast really good and has good selection - served in the rooftop terrace by an exceptionally friendly lady. Opportunity to relax by the small pool and terrace with service during the day. Small balcony a plus. Bottle of water included. A/c worked even too well since I was not able to totally switch it off :-).

Moldy smell in the corridors most likely from the old carpeting.

The staff was absolutely exceptional. Very helpful at the reception with help for directions and the bartender went above and beyond to make a cocktail they didn’t know, a huge thank you to all, for care. The room was sparkling clean, you could tell much effort went into taking care. Also the little pull out luggage platform under the bed was so comfortable and made everything easier and neater.

We could mention that the hairdryer is quite hard to use for anything longer than 2 minutes, especially if you have longer/thicker hair. As well as the door to our room was ‘loose’ so it would make quite the bang in the morning when other guests open/shut their doors. The robes were… tiny :D

The staff very friendly and extremely helpful The Bar on the roof open until 11/11: 30 PM, would like this open a lot later such a nice bar for a night cap. I had a junior suite and would book again albeit the spa bath took ages to fill. Nice location off the Rambles but only a 10 min walk through the university area.

Not much really The restaurant is a double Michelin star, we are both foodies and would have paid the 185 euros per head for the taster but annoyingly my wife hates fish :-) As mentioned above , it would be great if the roof top bar stayed open for as long as the guests wanted it open. Was a tad noisy in rush hour but you are in the middle of a city!
