We had an inconvenience with the first room provided but the staff was super helpful and managed to give us a Better room with great views. Very silent, amazing sleep

The corridors are a bit old and need some maintenance

- Breakfast (16€ for a cheese toast and fruit, no eggs, no pancakes, nomarmalade). Tried it once on 1st day only - Shower facilities (did not work properly for 3 days, although staff did their best to accommodate us by letting us use other empty rooms to shower in) - No slippers or shower caps - Badly designed washbasin, water goes everywhere (I feel they could have complemented the 1 breakfast we had, considering the shower problems we had for so many days)

The location was easy to get to. We found it in no time and Taxi drivers knew the hotel immediately. The photos represented the room exactly and I felt we had exactly what we were promised. The property was lively, clean and felt safe. We also liked how easy it was to check-in and get to the room with the elevators.

The only thing I could say, is that there was no refrigerator in the room. Its not a must but would have been nice. This is a suggestion. I don't think its otherwise a dislike, its just something that could be there as there is space - the room was NOT small.

Room was quite small. The lighting in the room was very dark, making it difficult when doing makeup and getting ready.

Room is perfect for couples. Very clean and nice, sleek design. Location wise it's amazing, very central, but very quiet rooms.

The room was too expensive for services and quality provided. Rooms had no mini bars, nor room service. The reception was not available at night. All in all nothing major, but these are services expected for a 4* stars hotel at a +300€/night.

The breakfast was very light, but plentiful. The juice, coffee and fruit were fantastic. The breakfast host was great and very responsive. The AC in the room was the best thing about coming back after a long day in the Barcelona heat. The shower was excellent, with plenty of room to turn around and the sink had plenty of counter space.

There was no space to relax at the hotel. No lounge, extra seating in the bedroom or rooftop space to just read and chill. We had to go to other places to just read and relax because the bedroom had one chair and no space in the balcony. Needed a reservation to go to the rooftop after 10:30 am. You just need a lounge area

The location was great with just short walk to la rambla area and the tour bus stops. The reception staff were very helpful and informative. the bed was very comfortable. We had a balcony room overlooking the square which gave a great view. Quiet room.

The restaurant on the top floor, whilst providing a great view, did little in the way of providing great breakfast. Poor choice and at 14 E each,vastly overpriced. don’t use it. Go down to street level and use the cafes in the square in front of the hotel instead. much cheaper, better quality and faster. The actual bedroom room was tiny with very little room. good job we were there only two nights so did not bother to unpack everything. The checking process for this hotel was a nightmare ! All has to be done online with passport photos and personal data filled in by us which took a while ! Felt like I was doing their job for them !! It takes away the prestige and the excitement of a new hotel experience…. No fridge, safe or coffee/ tea creamer in the room.

We stayed there for 3 days. After spending so much time finding a perfect hotel, we decided for this one, and we haven't been disappointed. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Lady from reception ( the one from Argentina..sorry couldn't remember her name) she went beyond, actually she wrote down some suggestions for restaurants. She was very nice,she wrote down different restaurants and also put note saying which one are closer to the hotel or which one are slightly expensive. It is extremely helpful if you are not familiar with the city. We enjoyed our stay, stress free, great location and easily accessible from the airport. There are some nice coffee shops and restaurants around the hotel. Staff at Cerveseria Universitat, which is just in front of the hotel, are extremely nice.We enjoyed our drink at the end of the day. We will be back in Barcelona, and we will definitely stay in the same hotel

The elevators were slow. One elevator did not register the correct floor. Sounders constant emails to check in

The location was ideal for walking to the tourist sights or public transport without being too deep into the very touristy areas (like las ramblas). The staff were very friendly and helpful, always greeting you with a smile at breakfast. The room was a good size and comfortable and clean. The rooftop terrace was lovely to sit out on.

The balconies are not the kind you can sit out on but that likely isn't a thing in most of the hotels in Barcelona and while I appreciated the view when arriving I'm not sure I'd pay more for that feature again.
