B&B HOTEL Barcelona Rubí

We liked that the parking was free and right in front of the hotel.The trainstation was only a 5 minute drive and we parked the car there every day..for free.From there it was a 30 minute trainride to the metro,bus and train hub in Barcelona. The room was roomy,with a kingsize bed and excellent matras. Two doors down was a Chinese store with basic groceries to make sandwiches with and to get drinks or snacks to take with us for a picnic with view of the Sagrada familia on Montjuic.We did not pay for the breakfast,but it did look good for people who like to have breakfast in the hotel.Coffee ,tea and hot chocolate are available 24 hours from a machine in the lobby. All in all we would come back again.

The direct surroundings of the hotel might be a bit of a negative for some people.Not the most scenic area.But we just used it as our base for the daytrips to Barcelona and for that it was excellent.And for the people to who it matters ,it was super safe.Not a dodgy area,just not in the center of town or a scenic area.Plus the friendy service and seeing all kinds of people,like business men, tourists,vandrivers and some other workers use it made it the hotel for all people,like their slogan on the frontdoor.All in all good hotel for the price.

We chose this hotel because it was one of the few we could find between Montserrat and Catalunya, where we went to the F1. For this purpose it was great, it was clean and the staff were nice. I liked the coffee machines in the lobby which we could access 24/7. There are a few shops and grocery stores near by.

It was a bit far and not very easy to access without a car. Although not a long walk from the train stations (roughly 10-15 min depending which line you’re taking) it was a walk on a busy road with not much room for pedestrians. If you have a car it’s not a problem, but if not I’d suggest staying somewhere closer to the cute little town centre.

We loved our stay in B&B Rubi. The room was just enough, cleaned every day with fresh towels. However the view was not so satisfying - just a wall... if I could suggest a little change: the breakfasts were quite boring. Every day the same food (yummy but boring after few days). It would be a great idea to add something new each day :) the staff was absolutely lovely and helpful

As they are an environmental hotel, they don't give you toiletries and you need to ask for them, when u ask for them they give u very little. Breakfast OK, not lots of options but tasty. Also u need to ask for a duvet if u are cold

Two young ladies working evening helped us with getting to Barcelona. They were patient and really helpful. With their advices, we got there really easily. The breakfast and coffee was also really convenient and good.

The bed only had a small bed sheet.

Clean room, comfortable bed, shower was excellent and air conditioning worked very well.

No coffee making facility in room. Room refrigerator was not very cold. Barely cool. Breakfast too expensive for just a continental breakfast with nothing hot.

Nice place located close to Barcelona (about 25 km from city centre by car), with easy acces to the motorway. The rooms are spatious and comfy and you get free parking and unlimited free coffee (big plus for me) Staff are very polite and well trained and the pricing is excellent.

Superb greeting and well handled admission. The very large eating area/communal area is very friendly and social. It's great that they have coffee and hot chocolate readily available to serve yourself. Yes - it's a little off the tourist area and yet easy enough to get to the more mainstream areas.

Too far from center. We had to take a cab to train station. Train ride is about 30 minutes. Best is to use rental car and park all day in Barcelona. That might be more time saving option.
