Gran Hotel La Florida G.L Monumento

Our stay was amazing, every single person who works at the hotel was extremely pleasant, attentive and truly caring. We felt at home and definitely recommend the hotel. The city views are breathtaking and the service is exceptional.

The location of the hotel is a little bit distant from the city centre, but it’s only a 15min cab ride there so it’s not really an issue, plus the room views wouldn’t be so incredible otherwise.

Quality of food on offer was very good especially for lunch and dinner. Comfortable luxurious hotel, great location, stunning views, laidback unstuffy vibe Amazing staff from front house to housekeeping Great facilities

Breakfast was expensive for those with small appetites. All we wanted was coffee and toast, that was €25. Would be nice to have just a sandwich on the lunch menu, only a club sandwhich which was very expensive.

The people that worked at the hotel were amazing and really made my trip more pleasant. Breakfast was also very enjoyable. The serenity was welcomed and loved that I hot to see sunrise and sunset from my room

Only one thing - the Bathroom was not clean. some melted candle wax on floor and some unpleasant things on wall behind toilet paper found on checking in.

View from pool/terrace was superb. Could see all of the city below you. Good variety of foods available at breakfast. Staff were lovely. Food available from the bar/restaurant was really nice and not hugely expensive. Would highly recommend if you're looking to avoid staying in the city centre where it is busy/noisy and be able to relax but also have the option to go there if you wanted.

Wifi in our bedroom was poor. We expected at a 5* hotel for the wifi connection in the room to be strong and consistent but it came in and out. No shuttle operated into the city centre as was listed on the booking.com page. We took a taxi in and out of the city centre a few times during our stay and for reference it averaged about 20 euros each way. Theme park next to the hotel is relatively small and predominantly a children's park, we heard noise but not enough which disturbed our peace.

The view was the best you will get in barcelona and the style of the bedroom.

Upgrades clearly needed in the hotel, some furniture etc. The quality of the food was ok yet very expensive.

My family loved staying at this hotel. Not only was the hotel amazing, but especially the staff. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant serves great food with a beautiful view of Barcelona. A super attraction is the swimming pool. I hope we will return to the hotel in the near future.

everything was perfect

The views. We came back 10 years later for the views! We got a terrace room this time and really loved it! The breakfast was a real treat and the restaurant staff couldn't be sweeter or more professional. The food is amazing...you still have the fresh squeezed juices! I remember details like that! We also Iover the "cold" pool! It is always refreshing on a hot day. Claudia was very helpful and very good with follow-up. The place is immaculate along with the room. And the beds and pillows were so comfortable 😌

The whole place just needs some TLC. The terraces need painting, some of the towels were ripped or stained, the elevators are marked up from luggage no doubt, one of the fireplaces had broken pieces in the grate. These are a few examples I saw and can think of of the top of my head
