Holiday Inn Barcelona - Sant Cugat, an IHG Hotel

Great hotel, safe location, standard Holiday Inn features, strong air conditioning, great breakfast, several TV channels available, bus stop outside the hotel which links directly to the metro station, shopping mall close by to the hotel which includes food places e.g. McDonald's, Domino's etc and supermarket and major clothing retailers

Travelers' to note to get to central Barcelona via public transport will include the bus and a metro line (approx 1 hour commute (2.4 euros per journey per transport method)) alternatively, freenow taxis will cost between 40-50 euros one way, this hotel is also a 1 hour drive from GIrona airport and public transport routes can take over 2.5 hours

Brand new Hotel, just 30 car-minutes outside of BCN. Good beds and very an effective air conditioning. Can’t make any statements concerning breakfast, as I booked my stay without. A car is highly recommended. ( OK, this is my humble opinion ) Plenty outside parking space available ( only 4 cars). In order to visit Barcelona, drive 7 Minutes ( 4,1 KM ) to the "Hospital General", drop your car for free at the metro station and buy an affordable train ticket!!!! Return tickets start at €. 2,27 per person. Approximately 45 minutes later you are @ placa de Catalunya . No hussle, no stress, no toll and no horrendous parking fees in BCN… hasta pronto

A small minibar ( fridge ) would have been a nice feature.

The staff at the hotel were so pleasant and very helpful. The servers at the dining area were just so kind and always smiling. Miss Sara Muñoz at the reception desk was exceptional in her service, attitude, along with such a very warm personality. There was one night when the reception area was filled with guests. At least 20 were present, and she was alone at the desk. She handled every single person with such a professional demeanor and smile. Although there were a few who became impatient, she always carried on with her smile and charm. These are the very many workers who are at the very heart and soul of the hotel. The workers who make us feel special. Who provide and give us exceptional service beyond the scope of their job performance and duties. I would like for Miss Muñoz and the other hard-working employees to be recognized and awarded some entitlement and recognition for the exceptional service that they provided. A hearty thank you to all of you, dear workers, for you made our stay at the Holiday Inn delightfully pleasant. Because, without their presence, exceptional service, and hard work, there would be no Holiday Inn.

What can I say, but that, It was all great.

Cristina (Head of Reception) was, simply, outstanding. What a great professional! She was polite, eager to help, and always portraying a nice welcoming smile. Simply 10 out of 10!

My colleague came for the last night and when he realised that his room was facing a noisy motorway, he kindly asked to be relocated to the quieter side of the hotel. It was obvious, which was confirmed to us the following day by a member of staff, that the hotel was not fully occupied. However, an Italian sounding gentleman refused to change his room which resulted in him sleeping rather badly and looking like a zombie for important meeting the next day. What a shame! I was treated like royalty, and then we asked a doable favour the team was unable to respond. Bad.

beautiful hotel in a really calm area , also there's a big shopping mall just less than 5 minutes walking in the opposite side to far from barcelona but it's good you can use the metro to reach there i like the location any way because the calm and tidy sant cugat & rubi is a great small cities , the people friendly and welcoming with a lot of nice restaurants & bars in both cities

if you came from barcelona in the metro you will need a walk between 20-35 minutes to reach the hotel depends on the station you stop

Good business hotel. The hotel is very clean, the reception and breakfast people are efficient, you can park outside for free

Unfortunately they will not allow pets anymore. As it was getting close to 10, the breakfast people were removing the foods very quickly, one felt under pressure to eat and leave fast not allowing even a few minutes to enjoy your food...I am sure a few minutes leeway wont harm anyone..Also remember this a good business hotel, dont expect any fancy views, you are close to the highway.

Electric vehicle charging points in the covered parking were excellent. €20 per day a little expensive but not excessively so. Lovely clean modern hotel Staff very friendly Comfortable room and very comfortable bed

The restaurant was closed which was a little disappointing as after reading reviews we were looking forward to it after an eight hour drive to get there. No reason was given. We found a nice tapas bar in the town but this was a bit of a walk.

The hotel was modern, well designed and the room was comfortable. The cast functionality in the bedroom TV would have been a plus if it worked (cast connected but didn't allow the content of our apps to be played). The staff (reception and restaurant) was very kind and helpful.

It was very crowded unfortunately, nothing the hotel can really do about it but the breakfast was pretty hectic because of that.

great breakfast, good location next to Sant cugat business park and the commercial center, quiet room (even though it faces the main road), good view from the room window and from solar terrace.

There is really nothing to complain about, just a few suggestions: - indoor parking comes for a fee (it was completely empty though), i think it could make sense to make it free of charge for the visitors, unless there is a high demand. Open air parking is ok. - Having a pool/spa would be great.

Everything in the hotel.is okay, the staffs are friendly & helpful, the b'fast are good too...no complain at all

It is not suitable for the guests who don't have a car....we stay fr 6D/5N but unfortunately can't got taxi or uber for 3 times n have to walk abiut 1,7km under hot n sunny weather to reach the nearest train station to go to the center.....and on the 1st day we had to pay taxi €50 to reach the hotel from Catalunya as our flight arrived in the middle of the night
