Comfort Hotel Xpress Stockholm Central

Very central, esp. for the trip from and to the airport. Yes, the rooms ARE tiny, but you get what you pay for. I was alone in a double room simple and that was fine (I was only there for two nights so there was enough space for my little bag. A big suitecase and stuff for a whole week would have been a different story, there is no wardrobe or shelfs). Two people would REALLY have to like each other, I don't think the bed was wider than maybe 140 m? And more than one person in the bathroom also does not seem like a good idea. Barely any floorspace either, but exactely as described during booking. The room, towels and bedsheets were clean enough, the room could use a deep clean from time to time though (AC vents, rubbermarks on the floor from suitecaseweels I assume,... nothing gross). The interior is a litte on the old side and has its scraps and scruffs, but everything was functioning. There was handsoap and a bodywash/shampoo combo in the bathroom (I read in old reviews there wasn't before). There isn't room to sit in the room besides on the bed or the small bench for the bag, there was no chair (but a small pullout desk next to the bed). The lobby has a couple booths and couches though. There were two outlets in the room (plus two next to the door for cleaning I suppose), but no USB outlet.

Despite not having any photos of the room added to the listing (bar the bathroom photos) we were pleasantly surprised. The room was more spacious than expected. The staff were very helpful during the check-in and check-out process. The hotel is situated on top of the Arlanda Express station, which was perfect as we needed to get the train late at night. (There was no sound pollution from this) Wifi was also really good. Sustainability plus: Clothes donations available, vegan soaps, bins in room and in lobby, breakfast is optional to reduce waste.

Our only concern was the ceiling, it had gaps between the structure and the soffit. It also looked to be damaged in areas and a light bulb was hanging out, and obviously not working. In addition, assuming pipes were between the ceiling and soffit, you would hear water rushing which gave us a fright the first time.

The location is brilliant. Just steps away from where the airport bus stops and the bus terminal. Very close to the main station and the metro. About 20 minute walk from Gamla Stan but a very easy to follow walk.

The mattress somehow kept shifting off the bed. There was a strange whistling noise coming from the bathroom which wasn’t too much of an issue but was irritating. Halls smelt a bit strange. Also, the window looked out onto the inside inner courtyard of a building with landings and escalators opposite and what looked like office blocks directly opposite so I didn’t feel comfortable having the curtains open. But grateful to have the option of a window. But location made up for this.

Staying here for the second time already. Great value for money in such an expensive city as Stockholm. The location is perfect- city centre + 2 mins walk from the airport shuttle bus last stop. The rooms are small but clean, the private bathroom is perfect and new, beds are comfortable The is 24/7 reception with small fridges with sandwiches, coffee, tea etc. you can leave your luggage if needed in the storage room. The is elevator to the higher floors. The only thing: in standard double rooms the beds are too narrow. Better take a bit more Expensive option of double room :)

Everything was perfect. Just note that this is more hostel than hotel. So don’t expect great view from the window or water in your rooms

Great location! Above the train station, which was one of the reasons we choose this hotel. But also within walking distance of the rest of Stockholm. The rooms and beds were small but okay for a few days. Overall a nice enough hotel for a short city trip.

The bar is located near the entrance and check-in, so not the cosiest place to sit. But they did their best to create a homely atmosphere. And like most people here said, there's no breakfast area or anything like that. Only a small deli area where you can buy some drinks and snacks. But we wanted to try out some breakfast spots in the area anyway.

We liked the location very much. Comfort Hotel Xpress Stockholm Central is over the Arlanda Express Station. Although we would have traveled by Arlanda Express from the Airport, the trains were out of order because of an accident at that time but the location was excellent! We could reach everything! The port, Gamla Stan, Djurgarden, and so on. The bus station is also by the Hotel.

We selected a single room without windows. There was no fridge in the room but we could exist without it. There was an alternative solution for the lack of windows, a well-lit glass panel that enabled us not to feel claustrophobia.

The hotel was very practical: good location, ensuite bathroom, comfortable room. The room was small and had no windows, but it's understandable from the low price and perfect location. So the hotel is saving (customers') money from the right places.

The hotel was located on the map in the same building with the train station, but it was hard to find the way, because inside ways between the train station and hotel were closed from public. We had to get out of the building and in from another entrance. If a way could be opened directly from the train station, it would make visitors' life a lot easier, preferably with signs to the hotel.

Great location, next to the central station and some major attractions within walking distance. Minimum noise (subject to room location). Welcoming, friendly and helpful receptionists. Clean room upon check-in. Adequate room size and toilet/shower area size. Easy check-in and check-out tools.

Sinking mattress - so bad that I wasn't able to sleep comfortably. Please change the mattress as it is beyond its shelf life. Paying guest deserve comfortable bed and the hotel should not expect the guest to just simply accommodate the mediocre sleeping facility based on hotel's operation cost. Luggage storage room is quite small hence please expect limited or no space. Lighting in room maybe a bit dim but still ok.

Pretty much in city center, close to everywhere we wanted to go. We are walking people so we walked over to Gröna Lund, train stations to Uppsala and the airport. Easy to find location and lots of restaurants and bar in the area. Great value for money for somewhere to just sleep and shower which was what we were looking for. Also our room didn’t have a window which we knew about before hand but we were so pleasantly surprised by the light up display by our bed. Almost felt like a window, and it was so much nicer to have that than just lights on when we woke up

There was some mold around the silicon on the shower that was very visible (around the drain and some corners), and some spots on the bedsheet that had some noticeable black dust on. But we aren’t that picky, so it wasn’t a big deal or a minus for us. But considering we both used to work in Strawberry (Clarion and comfort) we expected it to be a bit more in shape. Either way, like we said it wasn’t a big deal.
