Hotel Hötorget

No place to leave the lugagges before the check-in.

The hotel is placed in the centre of Stockholm and with easy access to underground (3 minutes to nearest station). It is located in an old building but equipped with all we needed during our stay. Good breakfast choice and good range of places to eat in the nearest area, e.g. great burgers just by the hotel. Quite quiet area despite the central location. Comfortable beds, spcious room.

Mind the hotel is not equipped with the lift - we were aware of that but didn't mind it at all. Our room was on 3rd floor.

Some of the doors slammed so hard that the walls shook ( especially the ones next to our room) it was very annoying especially late at night,

Friendly, location. Breakfast was free and a buffet with good “continental” breakfast but limited cooked food (scrambled egg was cold at 09.00). Sheltered out-door lounge area which I am sure would be delightful in spring/summer but not -15C temperatures when were there. Good restaurant directly over road for lunch and/or dinner

No lift, although we managed to get a ground floor room for a disabled person. Breakfast room is a converted cellar so difficult access. No hairdryer and TV didn’t work so missed World Cup Semifinals.

Location was perfect right in the middle of the city but surprisingly quiet during nights. The double bed was comfortable but both kids complained about the bunk bed that was too hard. The breakfast was much nicer than expected and they had a cosy yard. It is not a five star hotel so the facilities was not five star but we would definitely stay here again.The price was fine for a location like this.

There was a strange smell in the room so we opened the windows every now and then to get some fresh air. The bathroom had some faults but it did not affect us, more like you could see some upcoming renovation needs.

Great location, close to the Old Town. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. Spacious room, TV, good wi-fi.

Obviously, the room is not new, but in general it is in good condition, except for some points that could have been easily fixed, but for some reason the hotel administration did not do this. For example, the edges of the doors are stripped in some places, and the threshold to the bathroom is completely peeled off (see the picture attached). And it looks depressing, to be honest. Breakfast is generally not bad, but I was surprised by the lack of porridge and a small amount of pastries to choose from (croissants only).

Location very central and quiet, reception staff were always available, very knowledgeable and were able to advise on transport and sight seeing. Breakfast very plentiful, in a pleasant basement setting. Room was quite big, well heated with the opportunity to have a window open.

Bed mattresses were rather shallow and shower was a bit cramped. There was no housekeeping - apart from bins emptied and re-stocking, however with Co-vid around we didn`t mind this.

Location is perfect to conference centres, shopping, resturants, museums etc.. Nice breakfast and very friendly staff. Great value for money in this regards.

I found the carpets a bit musty and moldy- need to be deep cleaned. I also found that the bed sheets had hair on them. Its a major turn off to me to come to a room with someone else's hair. I think the sheets are commecially cleaned but still not nice to see! They could provide bathroom mats/ towels. Rooms are very small and desks not great for working.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely fine. The main attraction for me was the location, there is an easy access to different parts of the city. Shopping and restaurants close by.

Unfortunately, the beds are not the best. Personally I did not mind the lack of an elevator, but I would not recommend the 4th floor for someone in not in a good shape or has a lot of luggage. However, the rooms at the top floor are very attractive and nice.

Very good location, delicious breakfast (pancakes, meat balls, sweet buns, olives etc.) Friendly, helpful staff (reception, dinning room, cleaning lady). We have got calm room (we asked for). Authentic, historical building, spacious room. Good price.

Shower splashes on the toilet and on the floor. Bed was really comfortable, but the bedding could be better.
