Unique Hotel

Location was fantastic, easy walk from the Central Station and good access to the city. Quiet surroundings off and peaceful yet in a city is hard to come by but this hotel does the job! Breakfast had a good selection and all of the staff are always smiling on the reception and very friendly! Everywhere is incredibly clean and has a cool atmosphere around with the lighting and gently jazz piano in the backround!

The bed could have had some actual pillows and not just two square cushions.

Spacious new and clean rooms just 10 mins walk from central station. Also few restaurants and cafes nearby. Staff are courteous and systematic, they inform you ahead of time about the door code, checkin process etc beforehand. They also respond quickly to inquiries and messages. Great value for price, I highly recommend staying here for short stays. We only stayed 1 night for a layover in the city and feel lucky to come across them.

TV remote is low quality, you have to press several times even when battery is good. No fridge, breakfast was lacking in variety. Toilet is small, no tub. No AC. Beds are not the best quality, and not firm. All these are minor issues though and we can't really expect 5 star facilities for their price. Overall still a really good hotel.

The hotel was very close to the railway station and the city center and old town. The rooms were clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were super soft. The staff was really helpful.

The lock on our door was broken, so it had to be fixed which took a couple of hours. But the staff was very nice about this and kept us updated while they were fixing it. The breakfast wasn't anything special, an okay breakfast for the price.

Best things about the hotel are its location, staff and quirky character. We had a superior double and it was up a spiral, 91-step staircase, but we could cut that down to 44 steps with a lift to the second floor. We didn't mind this at all as the room description did tell us we'd need to use stairs and the room was worth the climb. Our room had a compact toilet and shower, but the bonus was a heated floor! We didn't expect that! The staff were most friendly. Special mention to receptionist Adam and the very smiley gentleman in the kitchen. The breakfast was very good too, with plenty of choice, but my wife did say there could've been more fresh fruit. The hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the train station. Indeed, the airport's Arlanda Express platform is right by the nearest exit for the hotel (just turn left!) There is a lovely square with garden a stone's throw from the hotel and we had three super meals in restaurants around or just off it. You don't have to walk far at all to get a very good meal. We loved Stockholm and the Unique Hotel only added to our enjoyment of the city. (One tip: Don't bother with tourist cruises, just use the commuter ferries - you can have an hour long 'cruise' for cheap, especially if you use a 24 or 72-hour travel car. We bought the latter and it was well worth it as the public transport system is excellent.) Many thanks indeed, Unique Hotel!

Nothing worth noting!

I came to Stockholm via train and the hotel was a handy 10 minute walk away. As long as one doesn't mind a walk (about 20 minutes), the hotel is perfectly situated to access the Royal Palace and other various museums located around that area. There was also a chandelier in my room which was pretty bloody epic! Breakfast was included and consisted of pastries, sausages, cereals and scrambled eggs. Very lovely and accommodating staff.

Room was big, comfortable, but it is necessary to have more light close to the desk. Bathroom is good, breakfast is great, very complete and diversified, considering the price. Location is excellent.

Light wasnt enough in the room, mainly in the desk, to work, considering that in winter we cannot use natural light. The vigilant of the building didnt answer the movil when we leave at 4 am to take the train and the plane, we were exasperated because the external gate was closed we didnt know how to open it, we lost almost 30 minutes. After we solved the problem we saw the vigilant opening the door to another person. the hotel told us that the vigilant doesnt work for the hotel , but for the building.

Room was comfortable and had amenities like tea making facilities, a TV, hair dryer etc. The room heating was superb and was really helpful in December cold weather. WiFi was good. Breakfast was okay, not the best. Staff was friendly. Free storage of luggage before check-in and after checkout. Metro station in a 700m walking distance.

We had the room 10 and it was just by the road. I mean the window opens to the roadside. So it was bit noisy.

The check-in was easy and the staff member on the desk was friendly. The room was cosy but exactly what I was expecting. Comfortable bed, bathroom was about the size I'd anticipated, location fantastic, easy walking distance to everything in the city.

Breakfast was open buffet which I was a little wary of due to patrons coughing and sneezing openly nearby. Not really something the hotel can 'stop' but some practices could be implemented to make other guests feel a little more comfortable.

Was able to walk to the shopping street, Royal Lalace, etc. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of plus to charge my phone. In room hot pot for tea & coffee.

It was supposed to be a small room, but it was the smallest room I ever stayed in. It was smaller than any hotel I visited in Japan. I had a hard time regulating the shower temperature.

The location is very good close to everything. Breakfast is great and delicious. The check in was at 15.00 but the stuff was understood my situation as a pregnant gest and let me to check in at 11.00. Everything were new and comfy.

You could hear everything coming from the hall, like if the guests are talking at your room. But there is no noise came from the other rooms just from the hall side. So it was quiet and comfortable staying. But the shower place was too small in my room so maybe in the other rooms it has a good size
