Notably, the room exceeded my expectations in terms of its spaciousness. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a selection of fresh fruits awaiting us in our room. Moreover, the inclusion of an onsen in the bathroom added a wonderful touch, allowing for a truly relaxing experience after a long day. The breakfast they offered was delightful, boasting an array of choices. However, it predominantly featured Asian cuisine options. The hotel's location is indeed strategically situated, surrounded by a pleasant neighborhood. Yet, it's worth noting that if your primary mode of transportation relies on the MRT, you might need to allocate around 10 minutes for a walking journey. One of the hotel's standout features is their remarkable kindness in serving their guests. A notable example occurred on our departure day. Although we had already checked out, a lady (whose name unfortunately escapes me) exhibited an extraordinary eagerness to assist. She went above and beyond to help us secure a taxi, and even though we ultimately opted for Uber, she remained at the hotel's entrance, aiding in the transfer of our luggage to the awaiting vehicle. Experiencing such heartfelt and considerate service left me with an immensely positive impression.

Everything. The room was very spacious and extremely clean. The bathroom was splendid with japanese style bidet and a sunken bathtub which resembles the Japanese onsen. Soaking in bath after a day's out in summer heat was really relaxing. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with enquiries. The breakfast spread was excellent and food was tasty. The hotel is about 7 to 8 min walk from Songjiang Nanjing station which is intersection of green and yellow MRT lines. It was so easy to go anywhere. It is also a short walk to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Mall (Taipei Nanxi) and Eslite store. Lots of shopping. All these for a very reasonable price. I will definitely stay here again when I go to Taipei in the future.

The sleep room and bathroom were perfect. There was a plate of fresh fruit and two bottles of water waiting for us upon arrival. Check in and out was easy. We were able to leave our bags at the front desk after checkout until our flight departure. The location was an easy and direct 10-minute walk to the train station and a 5-minute taxi ride to the airport main train station. The breakfast was delicious with a wide selection of fruit, pastries & breads, and breakfast foods from both eastern and western cultures. I would highly recommend staying here for first-time visitors and tourists.

Service was very good. Rooms and beds were comfortable. The ice tea at the lobby was awesome to return to after walking in the summer heat. Good standard of housekeeping in general. Location wise, it is surrounded by eateries and convenience stores, but quite a walk to the subway which did not matter to us as we were traveling with elderly folk so mainly used cabs.

Breakfast spread was limited. We had a couple of hiccups like the shower gel bottle being empty on the first night and safe running out of battery during the stay but service recovery was quick.

The staff at the Residences was exceptional. Always ready to be of assistance and spoke very good english so there was no language barrier at all. Breakfast was fine and with good selection. Room was spacious and the view of the park in front of the building was quite pleasant. The built in bathtub was also quite a treat!

The airconditioning in the room never seemed to dip below 21 degees C. It's just a personal preference that we'd like our room colder but it wasn't possible, and the chiller seemed a little old and didnt really chill our drinks or food properly. They were always ready to give us a bucket of ice though which was great. Staff are hundred percent on point. The location of the property was almost at the middle of two stations so it's a bit of a walk to commute by train. Taxis and can be hailed right in front of the property though so it's fine. Overall not a lot to be displeased by.

Very helpful and friendly staff. I got there early and left my luggage at the hotel to check in later during the day. They brought my suitcase up to my room when it was ready. Room was cleaned neatly everyday and complements like shampoo was restocked. Breakfast was fine, nothing out of the ordinary, just a little bit of everything. From dumplings, fried veggies, miso soup to toast, cereal, fruits etc. Wish they had more variety of fruits. Room had a comfortable bed, nice selection of movies to watch, modern high tech toilet but the highlight for me was the onsen style sunken bathtub. Sprinkle a little bath salt in there and take a relaxing bath. Hotel is in walking distance to bus stops and MRT stations. 7eleven, MC Donalds, KFC and Starbucks are closeby as well (1-2 minute walk). Overall location is great to reach popular sights easily. Definitely would stay here again.

Room had a water boiler but no tea and couldn't dim some lights

Really attentive and kind hotel staff. Their kindness and positivity were the cherry on top of an excellent hotel stay3. Breakfast had a good spread with many options. Location was excellent with eateries and convenience stores nearby. Room was kept clean and very comfortable. Very thankful to the front desk staff who helped us book taxis when our car did not arrive as scheduled. They were calm, efficient and empathetic.

If there is a point to nitpick, the pillows were too soft for me!

5 star service in an art decorated hotel. It looked old fashioned but all amenities are modern and new. Because my stay was over new year eve, a surprise gift (a bottle of Spanish White Wine) from the hotel was left in my room during the daily room service. What a thoughtful gesture for new year celebration. Very friendly service and great asian style breakfast. There is eastern style breakfast as well. Freshly cooked eggs to your order is available.

The pillows are to soft and flat for me.

The bathtub was a surprise - definitely not expecting that in Taipei City. Loved its hot tub design and the size was just nice for a hot-spring type of soak - they even had a container of bath salt for our use. My child loved it! Beds were comfortable and the breakfast selection was, although small, quite sufficient and of good quality.

Centralized location, but there's abit of walking to reach the nearest Zhongshan MRT station. Might consider cabbing to the Taipei Main Station if you are travelling with luggage.

It was a very nice and comfortable stay. The staff at the lobby reception area and on the 2nd floor restaurant are helpful and friendly. The hotel is located between two metro stations and within 10 minutes' walk. Zhongshan district is a vibrant shopping and dining area. There are convenience stores and a McDonald's restaurant near the hotel.

The pillows are good, but i felt that they are too soft for me.
