RF Hotel – Linsen

The staff is super nice and helpful. Its clean, air conditioned and the location is central so everywhere we wanted to go was within easy access. The room is comfy, house keeping is great and theres even snacks

The one down side is the balcony, we could literally touch the next building with our hands from the balcony so the rooms are a bit dark. We were offered another room where there is some space, but the darkness level was the same. Somewhat dark rooms are an issue everywhere we went in the far east so im not taking off much for this, they were also really nice about trying to find a solution!

I’m an experienced traveler (+40 countries) and I stayed here for 10 days. I loved it! It was well-decorated, quiet, comfy, cleaned every day, connected to public transportation and with dining options for different kind of budgets. My room also had a little washing machine that was super useful!!! I particularly liked the cleaners’ happy attitude and Jeff at the reception, who was very kind and joyful; it was nice having someone who speaks good English to ask for some things around around. Thanks, Jeff!!! :)

As it is a small hotel, it doesn’t have much to do inside, but I’d improve the seats of the lobby for digital nomads like me because the sofas were not comfy.

It was great, air conditioned, central location so everything was in reach. Great service and staff.

It was a little dark because the balcony was directly opposite a building, this is a problem everywhere in this area actually and they did try to help offering a room where there was a bit more space in the balcony and it wasnt directly against a building. It was actually the same dark so we didnt change, but they were super nice so i only took 1 point for that!

The room was very cosy and comfortable. It was the right size for solo travelers and even some couples. Toilet is modern and clean, bed soft and blankets thick and warm. Overall quite a pleasant experience.

There was no facilities aside from the most basic and there was no breakfast provided, which was fine with me because I wanted to try the food outside. If you're staying for a longer period, having meals provided would save you quite a bit though! It's also not exactly near the MRT.

Even though the rooms are on the smaller side, it has everything you need, even a laundry machine and a place to hang up the clothes. The bed is big and comfortable, the pillows are not too hard, there's A/C and dehumidifier. Warm water in the shower, good water pressure. A desk if you need to work, a TV. Sound insulation is great too.

The staff at the reception desk was very nice and always happy to help (which was very useful because in Taiwan it's not very easy to communicate in English). The room was spacious (we probably got an upgrade) and clean, but the carpet floor was a bit old. Convenient location.

The room needs some minor renovation, especially a new carpet floor would be nice.

Location was good, with 2 MRT stations within 10 minute walk. Taipei Main Station was also 15 minute walk. Many restaurants and convenience stores were close-by. Staff was friendly and spoke English well enough.

My room had very little natural light and the bathroom size and configuration was not ideal.

Clean, comfortable, relatively close to public transport. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Good price.

Because there were some bars close to the hotel, there were noisy people on the street several nights, making it harder to sleep. So in that way the location is not ideal. The internet was slow sometimes, not so good.

This was a great hotel within walking distance to restaurants and lively area. Room was very clean and bathroom very modern. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Dehumidifier in the room worked really well.

Everything was very good. The staffs are extremely helpful and communicative. Room is comfortable and there is a balcony and washing machine. In addition, what makes my everyday awake was the coffee and the variety of snacks in the reception for free!
