Tango Hotel Taipei Changan

Have stayed @ location many times but the 1st time in years due to Covid restrictions. Our daughter lives close by so very convenient for us. Very appreciative for the breakfast/lounge area as it gives us a place to 'hang out' off hours. The entire staff very helpful

My wife is sensitive to cold so we keep temp in room a bit warmer than most but cannot do the same in breakfast/lounge area (not a complaint just a personal preference). The handheld shower tends to lose pressure (akin to turning itself off). Not sure if this just an issue in our room but love the rain-shower. The bathroom sink faucet tends to spill water everywhere if not turn fully on (poor placement). And, for long stays, would like some sort of storage (drawers) for underwear, socks, etc. Living out of a suitcase is a PITA.

Great central location for a first time visitor to Taipei - easy access to public transit and tons of taxis. Excellent breakfast. Nice modern room, good sized, everything worked. The bathroom / bath facilities were AWESOME! Deep jetted tub, rainfall shower and deluxe commode. Attentive service, friendly staff.

The room was a little smaller than the advertised square footage, and there was no balcony. I was on floor 11 - recommend going higher if you want a city view.

The staff is really helpful and kind. They will do their best to attend to your need, even going the extra mile. The hotel is well located with many bus stops around to go all around the city and MRT station within 10min walk. Finally the view of the room on top floor is exceptional! Not to mention the great comfort with large bathtub/jacuzzi. And the fantastic Japanese toilet

My only low point is the fitness room that is ridiculously small. Only 1 person can go at a time, but it was ok for me .

The staff were polite, very quick with housekeeping and very prompt when we asked for something to be delivered to our room. Location was good, close to convenience stores and public transport (bus & mrt).

The gym was so tiny (about the size of our sweet studio bathroom) there was barely any room to move around - it's basically a hazard to work out in there. We were looking forward to the jacuzzi in the room, but were told it wasn't working when we checked it- that was disappointing.

Comfortable bed, huge room and toilet. Stylish decor. Automatic toilet bidet was a huge plus. Room also came with a tea set and tea leaves which added to the experience.

Hotel view and privacy (pretty close to the next hotel - need to draw curtains for privacy). Coffee machine in room was not working and had issues with the kettle too.

Amenities are incredible and the rooms are nice and spacious and the beds are super comfortable. Right opposite a 7 eleven with tons of restaurants nearby. A quick walk to the MRT station.

The gym is very very small. And the lack of closet space meant living out of my suitcase for the duration of the trip.

We liked the localisation, it was clean, calm and with a lot of amenities in the bathroom, free water etc. We booked a room with a washing machine it was great! Very big bathroom with a toto toilet !

The room was very dark with a central gestion of the lights but overall very grey. Difficult handling of the lights.

Location was great, staff was excellent and breakfast was great.

The lobby has air freshener smell that overwhelming and on the cheap side that makes you feel it’s a cheap hotel (but of course it’s not - it’s a very good hotel.) Also would be nice if they had a lunch or dinner buffet similar to the breakfast buffet.

It has everything you need and more facilities wise. Bathroom was huge. Balcony was nice too. The bed was so comfortable it was dangerous, i kept falling asleep in afternoons!

Bathroom water jets didn't work and were under maintenance during my stay. Its very dark decor too.
