K Hotel Tianjin

Decent location which was a quick walk to the metro stop/bus stop. Breakfast was simple but good options if you are Asian. Free laundry room was a great perk since we had been traveling for a while and it was great to have fresh clothing. They had some simple snacks and tea/coffee machine for use in the main lobby which was a nice perk as well.

Staff was nice but not warm. Rooms were small and there was no space to relax either in the room or much of a lobby for relaxing. Didn't realize it but one of our rooms was set as a no daily cleaning room - I guess I didn't read the fine print and somehow only one room had daily cleaning - weird that is even an option so be careful when selecting the rooms.

(1) The hotel rooms, to the detail, are thoroughly clean: excellent housekeeping services! (2) The decor is modern and elegant. (3) The front desk staff members are friendly and helpful.

(1) Except for one tiny hook, the bath rooms were not fitted to hang any sort of towel. (2) For a buffet, breakfast was very limited both as to amount and the variety of offerings. (3) Though the schedule is between 7 and 10 a.m. daily, the buffet is not replenished. Guests who trek in for breakfast during the latter half of the schedule have to make do with what is left on the serving dishes, if any.

Front counter staff were friendly and helpful, room size was comfortable for 3 people and hotel was clean. Breakfast porridge was good. Location of hotel was on a quiet street and about 10 mins walk to Zhongshan MRT which had a lot of shopping and food options. Hotel was close to convenience stores as well. The hotel even provided takeaway breakfast for us on our last day as we had to check out really early at 5am. We thought that this was a really nice touch! Thank you!

Housekeeping on certain days was not too good as dirty mugs were not cleaned/replaced and my friend's personal small pillow was placed on the floor.

Staff was very very nice and accommodating. The room was clean, and was nicely made every day. The air-con was silent, which is good when you like to sleep with the air-con on because it's so hot outside. The hotel is very convenient located coming from the airport (close to main station). The breakfast was excellent, better than expected. Shower and water was excellent.

The air-con display panel shines straight towards the bad. Not a big deal though as you can cover it some paper. There is only one hook to hang a towel for drying (in a two people room). The view from the window is a bit dull. You are just staring into a worn out concrete building.

The place is clean. The staff is helpful and accommodating. They even let us enter our room even it's not time to checked-in and let us stay in the reception or waiting area after we checked out. Even there's a language barrier, they are trying their best to communicate and for everything to be understandable. There are unlimited coffee, tea, and snacks too!

Breakfast time should be flexible and hoping they allow guests to have their meal as early as 6:30 am so they can prepare with their early schedule for the day. Also, as compared to other countries hotel - hoping there are staff intended to help with the luggage settling in the rooms or during check-out.

Staff are friendly. Clean rooms. There's also complimentary washer/dryer for use. In terms of location, it's around a 10min walk from Taipei Main Station, so it's convenient considering the various available travel options. It's also walkable from the hotel to the famous Fuhang Soymilk (Huashan market). Our departure was early morning so the staff actually packed coffee and breakfast for us to eat on the way. I thought it was a really nice touch because we didn't opt for the breakfast inclusive rates.

it’s clean and can do laundry

the eco option don’t seem to make sense when they don’t refill the complimentary water and also if u stay more than 2 days you don’t get shampoo and soap refill. they let you wash cloths for free even for eco but can’t get another set of shampoo and soap needs to be reviewed. it’s ok if eco means you don’t change the sheets or towels but if one stays more than 3 days … it make sense u get addition set of soap and shampoo. one of the manager was logical enough to see the flaw

The staff was extremely professional and well trained. Every time I passed by the lobby, the staff greets me and when I was back from outside, they welcomed me warmly. I think the staff is the heart of this hotel. The breakfast was also delicious and the dishes changed everyday. It’s more toward Japanese and Chinese cuisine, so less options for western style tastes.

The single room is relatively small, although it does have everything it should have, but it would be nicer if there is a door between the bathroom and the bedroom since they are directly next to each other. It’s more hygienic.

Staffs are really friendly. Breakfast are great, everyday they provides some different dishes. They do accept credit card, so it is convenient for me to not bring a lot of cash, even though there is foreign transaction charges as I’m using SG card. The location is quite near to ZhongShan MRT station, few minutes walks and it is surrounded with a lot of restaurants especially Japanese restaurant. Single room is not quite spacious just sort of enough for single traveller.

Breakfast was fantastic, there were many options at the buffet. The concierge at the front desk was incredibly helpful; not only did he allow me to check in slightly past the deadline since I was running late, he helped me order a taxi for the airport and took my bags out to the taxi for me when I arrived.

The room, though comfortable, was much smaller than expected.
