Chillax Resort - SHA Extra Plus

It's a comfortable and strategic hotel to stay in Bangkok city. The hotel has a very beautiful infinity pool and gym to use and enjoy. Initially our room bathtub drainage was clogged, we told the problem, they fixed it and everything works fine. The staff are friendly and efficient. On the other hand, the hotel' nearby has bars, restaurants, and 7-11, it's very convenient. Travellers can take the nearest mrt Sam Yot to travel around Bangkok destinations. I would suggest to take a taxi or grab service to the mrt station. Overall the hotel is excellent, the location is quiet because the hotel is not located near to the main road, it's a nice place to stay and relax.

Nothing much to write what I dislike about the place, just that our personal toothbrushes were thrown away by the room service, we were slightly upset but it's a small matter.

Great location for Khao San. Far enough away to be quiet: close enough to walk to everything. Staff are super helpful. They dealt quickly with an issue very late at night as we checked in on our first night and we were really grateful for their efforts. Premium rooms are decent size, comfy beds, hot showers and clean. Didn’t use the pool/bar this time but have done pre covid and it’s a nice basic little rooftop.

Nothing to dislike really. I would book here again, as I have many times before. It’s listed as a “resort” which it isn’t, but if you want a nice place to rest between the madness of Khao San nights and tourist sightseeing you can’t go far wrong here.

Most facilities, breakfast, bar, dinner were shut which is stated on the booking but still a shame. Bar on top floor doesn't appear to have opened since covid. Air con barely worked. Needed wet towel to stay cool.

hotel was walking distance to Khao san road. Room was very spacious and loved the jacuzzi bath. Great roof top infinity pool and bar Great value for money hotel in Bangkok even though that part of town not on the metro link, Got bus from airport to Khao San road for 60 bhats Got river boat taxi hop on and off down to Wat Arun temple no problems .

Nothing wrong with the hotel itself but the walk back at night from khao San road as a single female was a bit scary . Over a bridge , past a fish market and up narrow walkway was very dark and deserted and that was at 8pm .

Great location, friendly staff. A good well priced city hotel. Nice roof top pool. Rooms very well equipped and big, clean and tidy. If you are vegan the breakfast was limited and a little disappointing but nevertheless this is a good value hotel. There are quite a few nice restaurants and bars within walking distance and a few massage parlours too. This is my second stay here and I will stay here again when I am back in Bangkok.

Breakfast could have been better. I asked for soya milk and they had none.

The decoration concept is beautiful, and the jacuzzi in the bathroom with a big window into the room is the signature in all the rooms. The beds are quite comfortable - I like harder mattresses myself. Very clean and great value for the price. The location is great, near Khaosan Rd, but sufficiently far away from the mess (about 800m). Very quite place (well, unless the neighbors in the rooms decide to party). All the staff is very welcoming and always ready to help. This was my second time there. I will stay there again.

The pillows are very high and hard, and the shower water unfortunately rains onto the sides of the bathtub, and then runs to the floor every time.So extra towels are needed every day to contain the water. But you can just ask for them and they will send them up. This is the only reason I don’t give it a ten.

I had high hopes having seen the pictures however, I only paid £75 for 3 nights so thought it was too good to be true. Location is phenomenal 2 minute walk from the Main Street but far away enough to get a decent night sleep. Staff were so helpful and lovely. The star of the show is the pool. Incredible views and open until 8 at night . Only issue I had was that the rooftop bar was not open next to the pool as it was out of season. However, other than that, no complaints to be made.
