Oh Bangkok Hostel

The facilities were pretty clean which is super important to me. The staff was also nice and there’s laundry on-site but you do have to pay for it.

I stayed in the capsule and the beds are extremely uncomfortable. They also provide very minimal at this hostel and in the pods itself. You do have to bring your own towel which is fine but they at least provide a blow dryer. Would be nice to have a little shelf or something inside the capsule pods. Also my charging outlets weren’t working very well and the air conditioning in our room wasn’t as cold so most of us kept our doors open to try and let more cold air in which in turn, meant more light emitting into your pod.

Check in time too horrible because of 3 pm . My flight was reach by morning by 8 am . Till 3pm i am so tired and get upset

Same thing .when my return flight was 8 pm . But have to check out from room before 12 pm. So 12 pm to 5 pm i was wait in reception only . Plz try to change this system. Then easy for travellers

Oh Bangkok hostel is one of the best places to stay for budget travelers. The common areas are best in class, they have a card system to open your dorm so you and your belongings are super safe, their staff is really helpful, your bed has a beautiful light & big storage space underneath, they have affordable washing & drying facilities for your clothes. The location is walkable distance from the khao San walking street so it’s best if you like some night life & street food.

The solo room is nice, very clean, comfortable, the bathroom is clean and nice. You can see that they clean really well

The staff is not really friendly, the window in the room I got was small so no light was coming in. I didn't read that it's also a dispensary of weed so if you're not into it I don't recommend it downstairs it smells a lot like weed, thankfully the smell doesn't go up. It'll be nice if the room had a small table to put your stuff.

The location is very good, within walking distance to party streets and sightseeing landmarks. The aircon worked very good

The rooms are very simple, nothing really like on the pictures. The whole hostel smells like weed, so if you're not a big fan I would probably recommend picking a different place

Wonderful guesthouse, great staff. This is a place to meet serious travelers, sit around a couple of tables and talk. The owner and staff are excellent hosts making everyone welcome. A most beneficial stay to end my three years in Thailand. Also it's a great location in an area I am familiar with and known in local establishments. I shall return.

Normally, I only book rooms ensuite so I was surprised to find only communal bathrooms on the third floor. After my initial shock due to my negligent booking this wasn't an issue.

i had no curtain in the delixe room. room was bright from 6am staff is also not on the reception in the morning. only from 10am. because I left my passport as deposit, I missed my flight because no one was on the reception aso didn‘t pick up the phone

Cool, location, nice area to walk around, nice local places to eat

Was pretty nice all round at least for my standard, close to Khaoson road so you get your normal party goers that come to Thailand for that particular reason, so have a few people chill out the front at night having a few drinks, everyone was well enough behaved though, but guess it just depends who’s there at the time. But we are talking about Bangkok, so really what can you expect. Far away enough from the bars and the chaos of Khaoson road but close enough it you want to check it out. Good/ kind staff, one of the Thai stuff a women pretty much speaks like a native English speaker.

The annex building is the best. I got a pod bed. There was a huge lounge to work and hang out inside of. Plenty of bathrooms. Cool vibe and polite roomies.

Only minor complaint was that there is not a lockable locker in the annex building I had to put my things in a locker in the main building.

if you like to smoke weed this is the perfect hostel, very clean, comfortable, not too close to khao San road which was nice but still within walking distance.
