Suneta Hostel Khaosan

Location

There is no locker to put your things inside the hostel. You share the same bed with your belongings. You can leave your valuables where you sleep because you can lock the your cabin, but it is very easy for someone else to open this lock, because screw mounted on the board, with a small screwdriver, all your belongings can be stolen in a very easy way. Please check photos. It's not safe at all. That's why I'm giving 8 stars.

I stayed for one night only and everything was good.

There’s no way for air to get inside the capsule if you don’t keep the door open.

Suneta Hostel Khaosan is the best hostel to stay. Khaosan market is just available at the steps down. Khaosan road walking street is also on the 5 minutes walking distance. Breakfast they provided is really good. Dorm room is also very spacious. Washroom is also neat and clean and they provides shower gel and shampoo. Laundry services also available at very cheap rate. Overall its really nice and comfortable stay. Will definitely recommend.

It's hard to find anything to don't like here.

The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful! Everything was so clean and the beds were very comfortable, bigger than usual. I stayed in the 4-bed, would really recommend this one over the 16-bed - it is very quiet in the 4-bed, the 16-bed has a window where all the noise can come inside.

Please change the linen from polyester to cotton - with polyster linen, you are just sweating the whole night... Besides of that, everything was great!

Great location, one street away from the night market but in a much quieter street, which is great. everything was good overall, staff is nice, free breakfast and filtered water.

I stayed both in female dorm and mixed dorm. In female dorm: not much privacy, one bed doesn’t have a rack for their towel, some lockers are broken. In mixed dorm: I would not recommend sleeping there if you’re claustrophobic and also you have no locker

location: I took lomphraya’s ferry + bus combo from koh Tao to Bangkok. the hostel was literally on the side of the road from where the bus drops you at the kaosan. it’s about 2 min walk to the street, but super quiet so you get the best of both worlds the hostel: very well decorated and thought through. the beds are super comfy, each pod has its own light, socket, hanger, privacy curtain and a locked drawer to put your valuables. strong a/c in the rooms. the showers and toilets are divided to female and male. you get a towel, the showers has shampoo and shower gel and even a blowdryer. everything was pristine and inviting. they also encourage people to leave unused toiletries for other people to use, which is awesome cause I ran out of toothpaste. everything is clean and common area: the lobby has a tv with Netflix that you can use. you get free breakfast that includes juice, coffee, cornflakes, toasts, sausages and eggs. super nice and not very common to find! all in all for the price of 300b it’s definitely worth it, I would stay here again if I’m in the area

Excelent vibe 👍 The hostel is made on old style that reminds me good times 20 years back. Nice staff, always happy to help with anything. Great lobby with places to sit, TV, bookshelf, fans, A/C and kitchen corner. Everyone can use it to cook or store things in the fridge. Very quiet at night. Good showers.

Only the fact that there were no private room and patio, but it's a downtown appartment, so it is what it is.

easy to get from DMK airpot by bus no 04.in heart of khoasan road,but not noisy.breakfast is SUPERB and included.facilities are clean.staff is helpful and smiling.if you plan to move around city via skytrain etc it is a bit far to a station on foot but not a major distance.4 people female dorm was great lots of place to store your belongings beds are spacious.over all great stay

The lobby is awesome! Very clean and peaceful. A place where you can interact with other travellers. The location is perfect, just go down and the streetfood is there from morning till late night. The receptionist Tanya, speaks very good english and has this positive vibes that you will not hesitate to ask her something because she will gladly do it for the guests. Very friendly receptionist. The room i stayed is ok and comfortable. By the way, snacks are free together with drinks like tea, coffee and water.

A very steep staircase going to your room so i would not recommend this for travellers with heavy luggage. The toilet on my floor is just one and you have to go there barefoot where the other guests don't do it. The socket in my bed is not that good it needs to be fixed and the main door to my room needs oil. Hehe it's too noisy if you open and close it.

The beds had good privacy, the bathrooms were very clean. The free breakfast was lovely and the staff super helpful! A good location with things to do nearby

The beds had solid wood sliding doors so the aircon wouldn’t cool you down if you shut it. There was no storage area for bags. The location was also far from trains and metro, close to ferries and buses though!
