Casa Nithra Bangkok

The receptionists and the service personnel was really friendly and sweet. The air conditioned room was very comfortable and the location was also quite good- not too much in the center and also not far from it. The breakfast buffet had a big choice and was delicious, however for us it was a little pricy. But there were plenty of other places for us to have breakfast in, so it wasn't an issue.

Right in front of the hotel they recently started some construction work (building of a metro line) which will last according to the receptionist five years. There was constant noise day and night, even on Sunday. Eventhough it wasn't the fault of the hotel, they apologized to us in advance and found a quieter room on the further end of the hotel, which was really helpful. If we ever come to Bangkok again, we would stay at this hotel again. But it won't be the next five years ;)

The beds in the pool made the perfect place to relax a recovery after the long journey to arrive.

The shower in the room was not the best and there was no bar service by the pool although it was promoted all over the hotel.

The welcome was lovely. We had welcome drinks and a cold flannel which was wonderful after our flight. A smooth check in and bags taken to the room. The room was very clean and comfortable, the beds were just what we needed for a final night in Bangkok to rest and sleep. The breakfast was really yummy.

Only three things to mention. A little slow replying to messages on booking.com, not a huge issue. Second the pool opening hours meant we did not and could not use the pool. It would be great if the hours were longer. The last hotel we were at in Bangkok had their rooftop pool open much later and also earlier which just means even if it is a quick stay you can use all the facilities. Third the restaurant was not open when we arrived so the only option for food would have been a tuktuk to Khao San Road or takeaway and we just needed to get to bed relatively quickly so ended up having no dinner.

Wonderful hotel close to Khaosan Road but far enough to escape the craziness. Very clean, beautiful and spacious rooms, big sized bed. Amazing swimming pool and even if I saw prior to my visit that some reviews complained about the bar, it was open now with good service. Breakfast was very good, not a lot of options but good nonetheless.

If I was to be picky I would say the bathroom sewage was a bit smelly sometimes, the A/C is a bit loud and the pillows are very tough. But this is overreaching considering the price. Also, the construction everyone talks about is still ongoing, but somehow did not bother me while in the hotel at all, didn’t hear or feel anything different.

This place is the nuts. I've stayed here before a few years and it was amazing. But before my most recent trip to Bangkok, I still tralled all the hotel websites before settling on this again. But after this last stay, I've decided I'm not going to bother searching again, I will just go straight ahead and book casa nithra. The rooms are lush, the pool is great, breakfast is great. Great location, 10mins walk from khaosan Rd, 20mins to grand Place, 150 baht in taxis to malls, Top tip, the suites are a fantastic size and the bath is proper luxurious, if u afford to spend the extra cash. Lower floors have little view, top floors is somewhat better.

Lovely room and staff could not be more helpful and pleasant. Considering there was a lot of building work outside at the time ( new metro system), the hotel was not noisy, as they were using only side and rear rooms. Breakfast was really good and there were several extras we did not expect.

The Metro building work going on outside meant negotiating access could be tricky at times but even the workmen proved helpful and saw us across the road and we were met by staff and guided to the entrance. When we left, they made sure we got our taxi Ok and saw us safely away.

The hotel itself is really good, staff all were amazing and always at hand if we needed any help. The room was clean and ideal for 2 (we had a twin room)

Only issues were the construction going on outside, no problem sleeping as it’s quiet in the hotel. But just something to bare in mind for taxi pickup/drop off. Around 11pm we had the tv on low volume and had a phone all about a noise complaint, it was a bit disappointing as we were just relaxing nothing loud on. After this we didn’t have any complaints but it meant we didn’t use the TV afterwards.

The staff were so friendly. When we arrived, they greeted us with Thai tea and snacks. Our hotel room was stylish and comfortable/ we loved it! We were provided with water and coffee each day of our stay. The location was perfect, 15 minute walk to khao san road but far enough that it was peaceful. Plenty of lovely street food stalls, and cafes nearby. We had read some reviews about the construction outside, but it wasn’t a problem, it didn’t make any noise at all. We would definitely recommend to any of our friends staying in Bangkok.

This is the second time i have stayed at Casa Nithra, it’s a nice clean hotel in a good location far enough away from all the noise of khaosan road, but close enough that you could walk there if you wanted (tu loco) Pool is good and i actually preferred it with the bar closed as it was more relaxed. Breakfast in the morning is good, with a solid selection of european foods The staff are always amazing and super friendly. Happy to help sort a taxi or a room change etc This is the place i recommend to people if they want to stay in Bangkok. Some great street vendors and restaurants nearby as well.

Bangkok bathrooms always have a smell, just close the bathroom door before bed!

Internet worked well, the rooftop swimming pool was great! Location was awesome, very close to Khao San Road and other things. 7 eleven right next to it, very handy. The beds were one of the most comfortable we've ever had, AC was super strong and cleaning service very efficient. We arrived separately (group of 4) and two of them were able to check-in earlier.

Rooms were a bit too dark, the lighting can be improved. Rooftop bar was closed, it will be great if they open it up again. Staff spoke very little English, so sometimes communication was tricky.
