ISANOOK FEMALE HOSTEL

The man at the reception was very kind (and funny)! The room was not the same as on the picture, but that was fine. I had a sofa and a table, that was nice. Also it's not right in the center, but it was very nice for my first stop in Bangkok. From here you can easily walk to the train station and also to the area with Chinatown. The bar across the street server very nice coffee and cakes!

My room was next to the bathroom so I heard a lot of noise from there, but despite that I slept fine. Also the airconditioning switches off from 11am-4pm, but I think that's a common thing here in hostels.

I always stay here at Isanook, its super clean, a great location, the staff have always been wonderful, its so nice to come here and reconnect with people like Noi in the cafe across the street, she is a star in my books!! Isanook is my home away from home.

Great place for the money you pay. Friendly and helpful staff, they kept my sunglasses that I forgot my last stay and returned them to me. There's lost of places to eat nearby. Subway was not very far away, 10-15 min walk, for me it was no problem.

Needs hangers in the shower. WiFi was breaking on my laptop but worked well on my phone.

I love iSanook!! I highly recommend it to all women!! It was so beautiful, comfortable, welcoming, convenient, clean, safe, and more!! It had such comfortable bedding, a washing machine, food within steps including a cafe and restaurant owned by the same company. They arranged a private taxi to the airport. You must stay here to appreciate it's value! I will not stay anywhere else when visiting Bangkok!! I miss it already! Thank you so much for the hospitality and making an unexpected trip extremely enjoyable and memorable!! I hope to be back soon!

Absolutely nothing!

.The best value in Bangkok for solo traveler. Everything is designed for traveling women to feel at home. Will definitely go back! Near hualamphong train station!

I arrived very early like 5/6 Am. I was so tired and dizzy after long trip from Chiang Mai. Leo helped me a lot to get a space as soon as possible. Help me to put all my stuffs and the room was quite clean with wide sharing washroom. It was a very good location in Bangkok, near to downtown and also MBK mall.

Everything was okay,I explained to Leo, I can pay by card but lack of Thai baht in cash. So Leo told me it’s okay , you can pay cash later after you got exchanged money. Thanks for Leo. but there is another staff interrupting and telling me to pay the fee immediately while I’m explaining to move the space from up to down bed. He is not listening to me and Just because I was away from the hostel from the morning , pending for the payment for a few hours. This is a bit frustrating when a customer is asking the request and talking to the staff in nice way, then another staff is interrupting and asking to pay for the money. Bad behavior!

The beds were so comfortable! One of the most comfortable beds I've stayed in where hostels are concerned. Hostel is extremely clean and staff are nice.

Nothing at all. A word of caution: the hostel isn't central but that doesn't detract from the quality of service. If you want something more central, best to book something closer. Only one thing; this isnt a female only hostel anymore. The lower floor has guys. I have no issues wirh guys but if some ladies prefer a ladies only hostel, this isn't it. That being said, the floor I was on is ladies only.

The hostel is super comfortable, the facilities are good, bathrooms are always empty and almost every guest is a woman, which I like since I'm traveling alone. They also make one computer available and the wifi is very good!

I didn't like the way the hotel staff treated hostel clients, the receptionist from the hostel was great but I felt that the staff from the hotel (that is in front of the hostel) were not that nice with us. Is also not a hostel for people who like parties. The hostel don't do any kind of social interaction, but I got to meet some good people on the lobby.

I stayed at this hostel for two weeks and am delighted! The room was relatively spacious, despite the eight beds. The bed was very comfortable and had a light and two sockets. Everyone also has a locker in the room to store their belongings. Food is not allowed in the room, but there is a large kitchen where you can cook. Rubbish bins are emptied daily and, as far as I could see, everything is cleaned daily. The rooms and bathrooms were always clean during my stay. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom and toiletries in the shower. There is also a washing machine for doing laundry. The staff are super friendly and helpful and really try to make your stay a pleasant one. The area the hostel is located in is relatively quiet. Good to take a break from the bussy streets of Bangkok.

The wifi sometimes had problems connecting and for security reasons you have to pick up a new login at reception every three days. The MRT station is a bit far away, but still easy to reach on foot. Between 11am and 4pm the airconditioning inside the room and kitchen is turned off. There is still airconditioning downstairs in the common area if you need it.

Overall the place is clean and staff is very nice and helpful.

During quiet time people still talking in the kitchen with door open which is annoying and had to go out twice to closed the kitchen door. This is the first time i got bitten by mosquitoes in a hostel because the hostel opens up the window during the A/C was shutdown and the dormitory feels a little stuffed up but at the same time they turned the fan on in the hallways. Which is nice!
