Hotel Nikko Bangkok - SHA Extra Plus Certified

The location and the room is superb. The view from my room is also very nice and I was assigned to a very quiet zone. Many good local and Japanese restaurants are just located in front of the hotel.

The staffs could be more friendly. The female receptionist on the day that I was arrived is not very attentive and not so welcoming. The staffs at the Japanese restaurant were also horrible, with no more than 3 tables on the day service was very slow and unprofessional. The selection of food was bad also for Nikko standard. Could have been improved.

The hotel room is just as advertised and seems bigger than the pictures. Everything is well thought out in the room, from the lighting, to the bidet and the bathroom with a bathtub that comes with bath salts. I also like the fact that they have a mini mall in the hotel that also doesn't inspire traffic and doesn't diminish the quality and excellence of the stay. It's also quite close to massage parlours, mini supermarkets, restaurants and a train station. Wifi is super fast, gym is well stocked with equipment and the pool is amazing to work from as well. Great value for money, the staff is amazing and would highly recommend it!

Spacious room, comfortable bed, kind and helpful staff, quiet and relaxed environment. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The bathroom has a cool transparent wall but there is a curtain for privacy. Swimming pool was nice and welcoming. We had an electricity problem in our room but the staff took care of it immediately. Breakfast was good, Japanese style but had enough other options. Great value for money.

Location was a little far away from Bangkok center, but close enough to the BTS station.

Large and clean rooms, very quiet. Good connection to the skytrain.

4 pillows in the bed, but all very thick. A thin one to sleep on would be very good. In the evening there is no bar to have a drink after 20h.

The staff was very helpful and attentive. Bed was comfortable and so was the cool air conditioning and not to mention the Toto style toilet washlet in the room. The bathroom is large and has very good lighting.

I think that the breakfast can include more international foods such as bacon. In addition, the shower heads do not seem to have enough pressure when the water comes out for the shower.

Strategically located near BTS (Thonglor) station. Surrounding by many shops. Room is clean, well kept and I like the idea of having toilet n bath area in different room. So many TV channels to choose for.

Swimming is not interesting, no garden deco and it is located on the same floor of the coffee house. Strongly suggest for hotel to also cater for halal food. That will attract more guests to stay.

Clean. Near BTS, affordable. the cleaning lady, done her job very good she is really nice.

Lobby was a bit hot, and mosquitoes there which is not nice. the other major issue was the reception they don’t have money change ( sometimes ) for example, I as tourist have mostly 1000 THB notes. hotels most of the time exchange this amount to small notes for travellers, to use it on taxi and so on.

Other than the Wifi which dropped off from time to time, everything else was beyond our expectations.

The Wifi connection could have been more stable.

It was a very comfortable stay. I was well rested daily. The location was exceptional, i can walk to most eateries and bars nearby. The proximity to the yummie mng sticky rice and bts was a plus point. The staff had been extremely helpful, including Mr Ryo who was very polite, poised and helpful. Lovely stay and will book again for sure!

The rooms are tastefully decorated. The staff are very helpful. Japanese breakfast is nice. We really like how the shower room and toilets are separated too. Short walking distance to Thong Lo BTS.

Would be nicer if there is udon or chawanmushi included in breakfast, or at least some variety. Not easy to get tuk tuks in the area.
