IR-ON Hotel

Location: near BTS Thong Lo, around 5-6 mins walk only. Room is clean, spacious, love the simplicity design (a bit similar to The Murray vibe), and staff are kind and friendly! bonus point: the extension cord has USB port available which is great! Also, water pressure for shower is powerful! Hotel has a partner restaurant (Jungle Bar Salad) is a gem!

Hotel is next to a busy traffic road, noise keep coming up at night…during my check in there’s another guest approached hotel staff if possible change to her room due to noise - rejected due to full house. Depth of Water sink is narrow, when I wash my face water keep coming out..and water tap aside is in middle (that’s weird) I’m not sure if they arrange such water sink purely for design, not user friendly… Wifi not so stable Lastly, I made the booking reservation stated only 1 guest, hotel staff asked in-person several times, do I come alone? Only one person? feel a bit uncomfortable did I do something wrong or I should have one more individual to stay with me (…haunted story?)

Stayed in the deluxe king room. One of my most favorite hotels that I've stayed at. Staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was comfy and uniquely decorated. Definitely had a boutique feel to it. About 5 minutes walk to the BTS and countless bar/restaurant/street food options. Will definitely stay again when back in BKK.

I believe some of the rooms have a more usable balcony (ie. furniture to sit out and enjoy the balcony) but mine did not, wasn't a big deal though. If that's important, I would just check when booking. Also wifi wasn't great, but that wasn't bothersome for me but is worth noting.

The staff were amazing - they took really good care of me and were super helpful and friendly. They catered to all of my needs and they were happy to give me recommendations in terms of close by amenities (laundry services etc.). The executive suite is really beautiful with a large balcony space, great decor and loads of natural light - all for exceptional value. The location is really good too - being connected to both Sukhumvit and also Rama IV makes life a lot easier!

Noise proofing could be a little better - I could hear noise from the adjacent suite. The bedroom aircon was slightly noisy too (some kind of built in filter) and the suite could definitely do with more plugs / electrical outlets.

I loved the design elements and the extra large shower area in particular. I started to appreciate the location more and more as in one direction it was only a few minutes walk to the Thong Lo BTS and all the surrounding eateries but there was also some great spots not too far away in the total opposite direction. Another positive detail was always being greeted by a smile from the very friendly and supportive staff at the front desk.

As a remote worker, I do rely on wifi quite a bit and the internal wifi was unsatisfactory for my needs. Having to constantly re-login and slow to zero throughput meant I could not rely on it. Luckily I had an unlimited SIM subscription so I just used the 4G connection through my phone.

The most beautiful part of the hotel is the staff. whoever i talked to, who i asked for help, they were all perfect. the location of the hotel is wow! 5 minutes walking to BTS. The industrial design of the hotel blew me away. I stayed on the 7th floor. my view was stunning. bathroom, room, shower all details were incredibly beautiful. I had a great time. one of the rare hotels that offer both affordable and luxury together. I would like to express my special thanks to the architects and the hotel management. I will visit again as an influencer. 🧡 Thank you again for everything.

The IR-ON is an extremely nice and stylish place with very cozy rooms and very nice sanitaries. But the really really great are the people there. We were welcomed extremely warmly and even with our name. All the time they were really sweet and lovely with our little daughter. On our departure Wacharee took care of everything very carefully and caring. Arriving at the airport, we thought we had forgotten our passports and Wacharee looked extra in the room and contacted us again with super friendly and caring messages. They are really incredibly friendly and emphatic. We are very enthusiastic about these great people and can really warmly recommend the hotel and especially the stay there. The communication with hotel staff was prompt and clear. Check in and out process was fast and efficient. The staff were engaging, caring, polite and professional throughout - Room size was very generous. Although the interior design is not for everyone, it was very stylish and a clever use of space - The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on (even comparing to luxury chains) - Good value for money and has all the necessary essentials - In a quieter street of downtown BKK. Close to Thonglor sky train station with a 7/11 & laundry a fair walk away

May not be great for younger families with children to walk from BTS station to the hotel as nil official footpath (not hotel's fault) - Nothing. This place was great

Beautifully-designed and tucked away a short walk from Thonglor station, I found this to be one of the best hotel stays I've had in all my years of visiting Bangkok. The exterior is an unforgettable facade almost like some enchanted forest-building!Not big on frills like a pool / gym, this one's great for a calm unwind & living amidst the more local scene. They've a lovely cafe service now that puts out some great dishes. I would highly recommend this place for solo travellers / groups of friends / couples who want some quiet. There's a great mookata dive just next door to get a taste of local barbecue! The rooms are well-planned with comfortable beds, uber-clean shower & toilet area. A sofa niche and desk to get work done. My only little grouse would be the need for more storage space (no cupboards). Wacharee & her staff are wonderful & thoroughly professional! Definitely staying here again soon :)
