Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit

Hotel: very luxurious hotel, best equipped. One of the most famous rooftop bars Octave in the hotel. Absolutely recommendable. Great view and great food. Both a big pool with a bar and a gym available. There are some sun beds (10-12), but it is hard to get a sun bed after midday. You can also get towels at the pool. The restaurant is also great and the food is amazing. Room: A luxurious room with a great view and a huge bathtub. There was a stocked mini fridge, but there was enough space to put a bit of food or drink yourself. Breakfast: the best breakfast buffet. The choice is huge, from hot to cold, several different juices, breads and cheeses. If you like waffles or pancakes, you can have them freshly prepared. There is even gluten-free muesli, bread and muffins. Staff: Polite and friendly. We have to be at the airport at 8pm on the day of departure and were able to stay at the pool as long as we wanted after checkout at 12pm without any problems. Location: right on the side street of the BTS Thong Lo with some good massage shops nearby, as well as 7-elevens and a very highly recommended Maga Sticky Rice shop.

I stayed for 2 nights with my daughter for her birthday. Overall service was amazing. Staffs are friendly and give attention. Breakfast was nice, too.

The location wasn't as close to the centre of Bangkok as we thought but it's next to a BTS station so it wasn't a big deal. Test & Go was organised very efficiently; their driver picked us up from the airport, drove us to the PCR test site where we didn't even have to get out of the car, then straight to the hotel where we checked in and went up to our room to await our results, which came later that day. We had food at the hotel several times and it was good every time. The pool area was spacious and clean, and the rooftop bar is a must-see! Cocktails are fantastic and the view is incredible. The area around has lots of cool little cafes, restaurants and massage parlours (try Chaysiri Massage, it's a two-minute walk from the hotel).

Room decor was a bit bland but there's certainly nothing wrong with it. Room service was hard to reach sometimes; had to call three or four times before someone answered. Have to ride 4/5 stops on the BTS to get to Siam Paragon/MBK and all the other shopping centres.

Well, First off the staff is great most of them are friendly and informative about the guest and the room was cozy also the bath tub they were all amazing with a nice city view. The room is a bit too small for that price but overall still a good value. Dinning at the room top is a great experience the meal is exceptionally good.

Not including information about the rooftop bar, You need to make a reservation beforehand which kinda annoyed me a bit that they didn't let the guesthouse in and still need to make a reservation.

The facilities (gym, etc) were great. The building is kept looking new and is very clean. It's very classy. In the room, the overhead shower and views and bed were all top notch. The maid kept my room looking nice and tidy and so fresh every day. She was so pleasant when she greeted me. Always a smile. I couldn't have been more pleased. But by far the best, most incredible part of the trip was the staff downstairs at the restaurant. From my morning ice coffees, to last minute breakfast meals, to late night sugar fix chocolate cakes, the service was amazing. The staff was so attentive, and by the second day recognized me, and all of them would stop by and say hello and ask me how everything is and how the service was. That is so rare these days. The two hosts/order taker girls at the front were always so gracious and kind. The wait staff always responsive and attentive. The gentlemen who made my ice coffees in the morning, with the apron on knew exactly how I wanted them for the remaining 6 days. Your staff will make me want to return on my next trip to Bangkok. Looking around the room, there was nothing that made your staff displeased or unpleasant. I know customers can be rough sometimes. Always so very gracious. I will miss that "Thai smile" in the meantime!

This is the first time in my life I can't think of something that could have used improvement. The property should be AAA 5 diamond as far as I'm concerned!

Great staff and location. Training let the staff down. Small things like taking away my breakfast which was full and only just put on the table when I went off to get a croissant, not finding the booking in the system and confused about me getting discount as per booking.com. Not good coffee or mini bar facilities in room. Lots of small irritating things. But none detracted from the overall pleasure I felt staying in s lovely hotel with beautiful attentive staff. Better training of your staff needed guys.

You have a good view from the room over the city in the night. Also the Bathroom was nice with the bathtub and also a shower.

It’s a bit difficult to get there by taxi because there are more than one Marriott Hotel in the area. So sometimes the driver will get you to the wrong hotel even if you showed them the adress before.

Room which we got was very big. Tiolett, wash, bath were separated with glass doors and all are separated from sleeping with sliding wooden door. In the room we had an office corner with Table and chair and also two couch chairs in the other corner. Shower was very very comfortable. Cozy Breakfast for both asians and europeans. A very good service in the breakfasthall. Its near to skymetro and shops are nearby, bus Terminal to long distance is also nearby. Rooftop bar is a must visit.

The room was quite big with a wonderful urban view. The bathroom had bath tube and shower in two separate sections. Water pressure was high, which is rare in Thailand. Bed was big akd comfortable. The roof top was amazing.

I paid almost 80 euros more than announced on Booking app. They said it is because of taxes and service, but usually Booking prices are all including. In front of the bathroom was another building so we cannot go to the bath without closing the curtains. Finally, the hotel is a bit far away from the city center, which could be uneasy for taxi reservation (Bangkok is still lacking of it).
