very comfortable, well designed. the staff and management are super friendly and considerate - they let me check in a bit earlier, and let me check out an hour later when I accidentally overslept. there’s also a restaurant in there with great food nice service and 10% discount for the hotel guests

worth mentioning it has five floors and no elevator, it shouldn’t be a problem unless you’re not used to stairs for yourself. the staff was kind and offered help with getting my baggage to my room but I had no need for help. also after booking you get a letter from the hotel giving a kind warning about the stair thing. overall - great place! (thin walls? I’m a heavy sleeper I didn’t mind)

I have stayed at this wonderful hotel many times over the years . The Art in the restaurant and rooms is bright and makes me smile 😊. Great price for the location .

The staircases and hallways are a bit hot this time of year . Could do with some fans .

Simple but perfect ! Calm and clean, good ac, if you need to be near khaosan for some reason but want to avoid the noise it's really great. The boat to go around bkk is just next, plenty of buses and travel agencies if you are in a rush to plan yourself it's a great place to start a trip in Thailand. We come back every year. The staff saved or life this time because we forgot all our passports and money and credit cards (all in once) during the checkout at the reception and they kept all for us and gave it back in the morning. you can definitely feel safe here, thanks to all the staff!

The staff were very accommodating, I arrived from a 14 hr night bus, & although my room wasn't empty they did offer me a shower. (This shower room/toilet cubicle is extremely small, it does the job but I couldn't, I'm sorry). I waited around for 3 hrs and then my room was avaliable. I would like to apologise to the guy at Reception (morning of 15th Aug) I'm sorry for being a little stroppy, I was tired, feeling very unwell (Bangkok belly!) & was emotional. You tried very hard to help, I appreciate it, I just wanted a bed, that's all) :( Anyways, thank you & sorry. Although the room was small(It did say small when I booked it) the room was great. Just what I needed for 1 night. It had a little balcony (closed off) but was great as I could let the busy Bangkok Air in. The air conditioning was great (very quiet compare to some). The bed was very comfortable. It was a great room for a solo traveller on their last night before travelling home. The shower was small but surprisingly very nice, it was warm & shampoo/soap was provided. I ate in the restaurant downstairs and the food was great, huge portion & was served hot. Fabulous.

I couldn't get my head around the levels/ areas of the hotel. I practically lost myself everytime ( I would probably put this down to tiredness &feeling poorly). It was a bit mazey though. Anyway, I could find my room which is all that matters.

Good location. Quiet place, 711 are around, nearby bus stop and pier stop. Good restaurants around. Shortcut to khaosan rd behind the hotel. Decent room, wished they have a hammock in balcony, in future perhaps. :)

Spring bed but nothing serious.

Great Location close to temples,palace & Old Town.Lively night life with great bars & restaurants with cool lane ways and Khaosan Rd a must. Not far from Chinatown & Talat Noi which are great little districts. Also ferry is 5min walk from where we stayed & took us to the biggest market in Bangkok with Ferris wheel & the impressive new shopping mall IconSiam which is a must visit,one of the best designs in the world.

Room was a little small & the heat within building is immense at times but that is reflected in price & understandable with Bangkok known for its infamous heat. Can't fault location & added bonus of 7/11 just around corner of hotel.

Great welcome: I was allowed to chill at their relaxation room after my long flights until my room was ready for check-in (much earlier than expected). Fantastic location, nearby plenty of businesses to eat, drink, get haircuts, book tours, exchange money, etc. Not to mention, the iconic Khaosan Road is within walking distance (other sightseeing spots, not so much given the burning hot weather even in wintertime). Very friendly and helpful staff. Really good pizza at the restaurant downstairs (but do ask for the big slice menu ["the biggest slices in Bangkok"] because they apparently will just bring you the regular menu otherwise). Getting to the room felt like an adventure; I'd never stayed at a more labyrinth-like place. I found this cool but can see how it might upset others. Very good value for money overall.

The room we got (presumably and admittedly the cheapest for two people on a budget) was extremely small. There was barely any space for our carry-on size luggage. Moving around the room almost felt like an act of acrobatics. The WiFi was not terrible but could have been much better. The toilet and shower are not separated so the whole room becomes wet when you shower. The water heater never worked so we had no choice but to take cold showers throughout our entire stay. Nobody ever came to clean the room or at least take out the trash or make the bed.

Good locallity, kind people in reception, nice place.

In first room was noizy aircondition. Under the window, in the street, was constriction during the night. It was impossible sleep till 2am!!! Next day I moved to second room in different floor. There was a smell of mold here.

The location is super in very central. The staff were very very friendly and helpful and it noticeable that they care about their guests. The room was very basic but has good aircon, own bathroom and balcony which was important for me. Though it was very basic it was really good value for what I paid. The hotel has 5 floors and no elevator, so if you have difficulty to climb stairs, I would make sure ahead to book a room in the lower floors. In anyway, the team will be happy to help you with carrying your baggage. All in all it was really good value for the money!
