Khaosan Palace Hotel - SHA Extra Plus

Had a great stay at Khaosan Palace which is right in the centre of Khaosan Road. Staff was extremely friendly especially the night guard, made a couple of local friends who were allowed to enter the room. Check-In and Check-Out was quick and smooth. Booked a couple of tours with the travel agency right below the hotel which was great as the pick up and drop off were right from the hotel. Khaosan road was insane during the week I stayed since it was New Years. All the parties were just below the hotel and could get back to the room without the need to travel far. Room was always cleaned when requested and was lucky enough to get a room where the music did not interrupt my sleep albeit it was without any view. Rooftop pool was a bonus. Highly recommended and will book the same place on my next visit.

Location, Location, Location yes it is noisy from Khaosan Road, they provide earplugs and I read reviews before hand and knew what to expect, it was no where near as noisy as some reviews would have you believe, I’ve stayed in two different rooms both facing Khaosan Road, I love it, just know why your booking! Rooftop pool is amazing, somehow it must be the coolest place in Bangkok and a great place to meet other people

Nothing, beat expectations

Great location for a couple of days' stay in Bangkok. The restaurant area is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. Especially in the morning with an Americano. Staff were very friendly, and especially kind with my young son.

Although there was a kettle in the room, there was no tea or coffee so I had to go out to buy some. This is a small thing to be honest.

Located very well on Khaosan road, but slightly to the back, so even though you can still hear the music from the bars, it isn't deafening and unbearable. Rooms also look very nice and a comfortable size.

The beds are extremely hard and pillows not the most comfortable. The hard beds seems to be a feature throughout Southeast Asia as I have now encountered this in Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Indonesia, but this specific bed felt like sleeping on a cement slab.

The place was as expected. Surprisingly quiet consindering the location and also pretty clean. The wifi connection was strong and mostly reliable. The location is amazing for food and bars.

The day before checkout, the electronic key lock of our room stopped working/ran out of battery. The staff didn’t even bother to fix it and didn’t apologise. For that last day we had do ask someone from reception to open the door for us with a proper key every time we went back to the room.

Nice and clean room. Hotel is set back from the road and I had room at the back so was fairly quiet considering all the bars on the street compete for who can be the loudest.

Hotel was fine and staff efficient. No view from the rooms at the back but this does mean they are quiet. Stayed in a few areas of Bkk and Khao San Road was my least favourite due to the loudness of the bars competing with their music

The location is great if you wanna be right in the middle of the party! it’s very noisy which we knew from other reviews so, that wasn’t a problem for us since we went out most nights anyway. It’s also walking distance from good restaurants and street food. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

The wifi is slow this is our only complaint!

Affordable price, cleanliness. There a roof-top swimming pool for sunbathing. This accommodation is located in center of most attractions. Khaosan road always fills with excitement of clubs and pubs.

It is not suitable for those who look for accommodation for relaxing because the noises from bars.

The location was very convinient. Hot water worked well. Bed was very comfortable. Close to the tourist boat. There is a tour guide very close to the hotel. Airport bus stop is in walkable e distance.

Bit noisy in the night. Tea packets were not available in the room. My phone charger didnt comply with the given charging pin.

the hotel is located in the very touristic street so it’s perfect if you want to go outside by night and enjoy the nightlife. there is music until 1am but it’s not that bad. room are spacious, there is a fridge and a kettle, you can order room service which is super nice, and the swimming pool is very appreciated. For the price it’s worth it !
