Everything about the Hotel and location and everything else surrounding the Hotel. The breakfast is good. Short walk to important attraction places.
The bathroom was not easy use able especially tub bath is too high to get in and the bath room sink was not functioning well because it was not drain at all. If possible change to standing shower will be better.

It’s an older hotel at a great location - especially if you are in town primarily to see the nearby sights like Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Po, Wat Arun, National museum and Khao San Road. I did stay there about 20 years ago already and it’s basically unchanged - so in a way it’s a vintage experience. Breakfast selection is relatively simple but dishes are tasty.

Good location, close to Grand Palace, Sanam Luang Park, Wat Arun and other temples, Khoasan Road. Nostalgic as we used to stay here 20-30 years ago. Clean rooms with good daily cleaning.
Place looks tired, especially outdoor area around swimming pool. Breakfast was poor especially for vegetarians.

The Royal Rattanakosin is an old favorite that we visited after several years. Thailand has suffered from covid & the economic fallout but the Royal still has an old-world charm in the old part of the city. I recommend it for the history and location near the Royal Palace
