Wyndham Garden Bangkok Sukhumvit 42

Very nice property. I booked a 2 bed and it was very nice. More like a extended stay apartment with full service. The second room was a bit small for the queen bed but very cozy and comfortable.

Not very close to the MBK or Platinum malls. Typical cab ride was 45 min. so we spent a lot of time in traffic. Secondly, the street in front of the hotel was a one way. And always jammed. Some grab cans kept canceling given the long time to come there.

I have stayed here many times and in the past when I stayed if I arrived early and there was a room ready I could drop my bags and things in the safe and get to work. This time they tried to sell me early check in and even though the room was ready wouldn't let me pop my bags and things in the safe till 2pm. As a business man that's pretty annoying. One of the reasons for my repeat business was them being kind and hospitable and practical when rooms were ready. It must be a new policy because there was loads of bags in storage. Shame. Time to move on probably.

Nice apartment with a kitchen and washing machine. Pretty city view. Friendly front-desk staff. My apartment was ready and I was allowed to check-in before the standard check-in time. The location is great. The Ekkamai BTS station is a 5 minute walk.

This is the only hotel/serviced apartment I recall staying at that doesn't provide a Do Not Disturb sign or a light that can be used to inform the cleaning staff that they should not enter the room. The gym and pool are tiny. While the apartment itself makes good use of the limited space, the bathroom is quite cramped.

Breakfast was okay could have been better.

I really liked the facilities in the room. Great coffee and the housekeeping team were amazing and friendly. Bed was super comfortable! Bathroom was also well set out and spacious. A short walk to Loft Spa and Toby’s cafe. Fantastic views of Bangkok

The stairs were a bit narrow and a slight inconvenience as I have a knee problem. Location was a bit hard to get a taxi from in the morning. Breakfast selection was limited. Desk staff could have been more friendly and helpful, especially when guest were trying to get taxis.

The room is really a small apartment with a sitting area, kitchen and bathroom. The washing machine was a real bonus. We stayed at the Wyndham four times over the course of a month-long stay in Thailand. We would definitely stay there again.

The building is a mix of private apartments and hotel rooms. This was a bit confusing when we first arrived because Reception is in a corner of the ground floor and wasn't immediately obvious.

The hotel is very modern and very well maintained. All the staff are very kind and helpful! the pool and garden on the 7th floor were great as well. Especially for a yoga session in the morning:)

Very unfortunate, that the rooftop was closed.Also, after asking the concierge where we could go out for eating, he just send us to a shopping hall and didn’t even bother to show a map or to ask what kind of restaurant we would be interested in. But that is just a small detail about service improvement. Also, breakfast is very basic but okay.

Location is great, very close to BTS Ekkamai. Staff helpful and kind. Beautiful view of Bangkok. Big apartment (not just a room). Washing machine in room and kitchenette are great! Great stay and value for money. Thank you!

Aircons in lobby, passages and lifts could be better for this Thailand heat :)

This was a great location very close to a mall with a supermarket and many restaurants. There was also a train station very close to the hotel. Our room was a beautiful apartment with a fantastic view of the city. There was even a washing machine. The restaurant had very nice Japanese food.

The infinity pool shown in photos on the roof was not available to hotel guests. We had trouble getting the air conditioning/temperature right.

The room was really specious, there were two big bathroom too. Also the view was breathtaking. We were in 4 and we had plenty of space. You had everything you needed. Was really clean as well. Complimentary breakfast was gorgeous. And the swimming pool was so worth it especially at night. It was really quite. I can't complain about anything!

The location is bit far from main attractions.
