The service, the stay, how comfortable it is... I ended up extending my stay. I was just looking for a quiet place to work while getting to know the city and the Golden Horn exceeded my expectations. Istanbul is so extra and so big.. having a language barrier was at times overwhelming but Abdul, Feruza, Yasim, Eren.. everybody made me feel at home. They proactively helped with everything. There are always taxis outside and the hotel also has shuttles available so you can visit the city during the day. For a first timer here, the guidance and help offered was very much appreciated. & then the hotel.. It was rainy, it was sunny.. it didn't matter, I had a very pleasant time. Very fair price. The breakfast was very impressive, the food was better than what I have tried outside too. The team delivers a tray of fruits in the afternoon, and made sure I always had coffee or tea while working.. I pay a lot of attention to details and I got more than what I expected. Would not hesitate to come back, wish I could have stayed longer.

Value for money : 5/5 I booked a 7 nights package at Dossa Dossi Golden Horn for my family for 2 connected rooms. The rooms -although - small were convenient and definitely great value for money especially when you have very young children. Staff : 4/5 The staff were very polite in general and the cleaners were prompt (Pinar was good) and always ensured we had everything we needed. However, the experience with the room delivery service was not that great. A bottle opener was requested at least twice in half an hour and still did not arrive only for me to have to go to the reception in the dead of the night to ask for one. Basically reception asked the restaurant staff to deliver and they did not. But strangely reception just blamed the restaurant and did not even care to apologize. It was quite irritating. Breakfast : 5/5 Just a great variety of food ! Loved it. Ala carte : 3/5 Pizza and that too delivered to the room - hardly impressive. The other items were not exceptional as well

1. The tour package recommended by the staff to Bursa-Uludag through green express travel was a total waste of money with the tour being more of a "shopping tour" with much time wasted everywhere. 2. The tour package recommended to Sapanca could have been the same if not for me pulling out. We were told by the staff that "it always snowed" in sapanca. But a simple phone call to Sapanca resort - after the debacle of the trip to Uludag - revealed to us there was no snow. The hotel staff must be careful in recommending. 3. The Pereme tours dinner-cruise package recommended by the hotel was way too pricier than the Lufer yacht package. 4. The pizzas were unimpressive.

The staff were friendly and could speak English fluently. The room was spacious and clean and the hotel smelled good. Our room had a relatively large balcony with a nice view to golden horn, especially at night, and the room was equipped with an iron and powerful hair dryer. The staff welcomed us warmly and put a plate of fruits in our room in the first day. Ilyas was professional and always smiled and gave us an umbrella when it was raining. The breakfast had a good variety of items.

The location was far from the touristic area and city center. There was a sharp steep to the hotel that made walking so difficult, especially if you have a luggage. The bus station was close to the hotel but you had to pass through a tough path to reach there. There was an electric bus for making this path more comfortable for the passengers but it did not work. There was a gym in the hotel but it was closed. The price of foods served at the hotel was more expensive than the restaurants around the hotel. The satellite TV had a limited number of international channels. The showering area was small.

they were even more flexible when we arrived .. our booking was street view at lower floor.. by they upgrade our room to higher floor with sea view which make our trip more relaxing and we didn't want even to leave our room. they are very helpful specially we were only group of female and we got very good care and support during our stay. although hotel is little bit far from center but thanks to their free shuttle service .. we enjoyed by staying in quite place and away from crowed and whenever we needed cost nothing to go to city center. staff are very friendly and helpful and give you home and family environment feeling.. our special thanks to Mrs. Edalat who gave exceptional care during our stay.. 100% recommend for large family with kids and for the females whose want to travel alone to Istanbul.

A great little hotel tucked away in the northern part of beyoglu, the Dosso Dossi Golden Horn is made exceptional by the wonderful team that manages it. The rooms are very comfortable, and on par with some of the more expensive hotels I've stayed at in other parts of the world. Excellent value for money, especially when booking connecting rooms.

Other travellers should know that the location is a little obscure with nothing in walking distance. However, the hotel runs free shuttles to two separate locations daily. Additionally, the room service menu is a little limited, but this is easily mitigated by using delivery apps. There was an issue with one of the night managers at the front desk telling my wife she can't order food from an external source. However, we ignored him and lodged a complaint with the manager the following day. A slight blemish on an otherwise excellent stay.

I usually don't get surprised by the performance of a hotel but this time i did. To begin with they have huge parking space in their disposal for cars below 1.95-2.00m clearance. Their wifi is very fast. Their breakfast has a big selection and they make you an omelette on the spot if you wish. The rooms were spotless, very clean indeed. Their spa is also very clean and well maintained. Their gym is huge for a hotel, offering cardio, free weights, a water fountain and many machines to use untill 11pm. Now the best part, the staff. They really do make you feel like family and make you want to revisit the hotel. I can't talk for all of them but the ones that i worked with were well spoken, smart and very well-mannered. Just to name a few, Eren, Muhammad bin haidar and Mahmut were top notch in their work. The ladies at the lobby helpful and patient with requests and the shuttle bus driver, well... I think he should be in a Formula 1 division, he is too good to be driving busses 😂🔥

Wish the a/c could get colder to not having to open the window. The lobby seating area could take better advantage of the huge space. The gym could have a squat rack. Room lighting would benefit with a main ceiling lamp. The wifi randomly disconnects. Also the mayonnaise could be better (wink wink)

Everything was amazing due to the service provided by staff. They were really exceptional, and a few of the staff really went out their way to make us feel taken care of. Veiw from rooms were great nice and quite environment. There is taxi service next to them which is very handy at times. Well maintained clean hotel housekeeping was great. The food in the restaurant is better than most places throughout the capital and would definitely recommend.

The gym and spa were not ready as it was under maintenance. However, they did compensate us for this as we had an upgraded room. They A/C system is controlled by the hotel. You need to call them each time you want to change the temperature manually as the in room function is non functional. On the menu, when you scan the qr code, there should be an English translation to what each item is as it's a little confusing. I also think there should sell English tea as an option.

-The staff are quite helpful and very professional; always smiling, energetic, welcoming and ready to help. Special thanks to Anil who welcomed us very well. The managers are also very warm and helpful. - The room was clean and well decorated. - The sea-view room has a dreamy view of the Haliç aka Golden Horn. We recommend this type of room. - The breakfast was amazing with an excellent variety of Mediterranean cuisines and delights. Very better than we expected. - The value for money is so high. We will definitely come back next time.

I cannot even find a negative thing to complain about.

The staff, breakfast variety and all breakfast staff 🌷, talking english, car parking a lot, Ms Pinar was nice also Mr Abdul Salam.

The smell in the Toilete very very bad room 507, Toilete Sitting area from inside all black not clean. be aware dear guest from this terrouble smell. Removing the breakfast immediately at 10.30 Restaurant v expensive. Location need car. Balcony small and dirty. Electricity went off two times during my stay. They increased the min temp of AC to 22 while it was 18 when I arrived, they say because the weather is cold now.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel; the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my visit. The service was top-notch, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding hospitality.

The only downside was that the hotel couldn't arrange transportation for me if I ventured 1 or 2 hours away. It would have been convenient if they offered that service, but overall, it was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise enjoyable stay.
