Ramada by Wyndham Istanbul Golden Horn

At breakfast, a member of our group and staying in a single room, had three insect bites in a ca. 7-cm long row in his neck. This is the typical ‘multiple bite’ of the bed bug. I am a medical editor and was able to exclude a mosquito bite of flea bite as the cause of this rash. Bed bugs do not result from poor hygiene. Nonetheless, you should check the room on the presence of pests.

View from the room is really good. Staff is super helpful, they always had smile on their faces, the valet parking service provided was really nice. Breakfast can be improved but was still good. The Manager offered to help us file a complaint when my wife's phone was pick pocketed near Taksim Square. We are still in touch over whatsapp over the matter. Location of the hotel is very good, it was not crowded but was not very far from anywhere notable in the city.

I stayed for 7 days with my wife and 3 little children, it was only for a few hours I faced a problem with hot water but they fixed it. Overall I did not have any problems living there. The rooftop restaurant was closed for all 7 days. It would be better if breakfast is provided at the rooftop where people can enjoy the view as well. Balcony was not cleaned properly after the rain.

The location is excellent. Its far away from hustle bustle and right next to a park by the Golden Horn. But it is quite near to Taksim, Dolmabahche , Galata tower by taxi. and its mostly just alot of walking afterwards. Sevaal Ezra at the reception was an exceptional staff and help to us. She always goes the extra mile to give us the proper services. and the manager Murat and his restaurant felt like home. sending warm hugs all the way from Maldives. Lovely restaurant.

At breakfast one of our group members had three bug bites in a row on his neck, most likely due to bed bugs. The bite pattern was most typical for chinches (bedbugs). The hotel better inspect mattresses, floors etc on hygiene. Hopefully I am mistaken.

My room was really lovely. Big and luxurious decor. I had a lovely view of the river. The area was quiet, no sounds of call to prayer and there were a few good cafes and shops on the doorstep. The rooftop bar was really great with a great view and delicious food.

Wifi connection in the room, wasn't great. Ended up using my own data from my workphone to connect. Also on arrival I was very tired and just wanted to sleep. This was middle of the day. But I got woken up three times, despite having DO NOT DISTURB on my door. 1. Staff member knocking on my door to give me a complimentary fruit bowl. 2. Staff member wanting to restock the mini-bar, ringing my doorbell, and then literally opening the door to come in despite do not disturb sign. 3. Drilling in room next door which had construction for 1.5 hours. As you can imagine I was not happy when I specifically requested a quiet room and I made a complaint to the front desk. Apart from this initial annoyance the rest of my stay was very peaceful and relaxing.

A very good hotel and very nice location with the water front and adjoining green belt. Overall the staff is wonderful and very helpful. Rooms are also quite spacious, well lit and very comfortable. Window and balcony are very convenient to get light and fresh air. Rooftop restaurant is very nice and has great views and excellent staff. Overall staff was great and our stay very comfortable.

A little far from central areas. And although very comfortable but toilets could use bit of sprucing up in corners and floor work. Nothing objectionable at all though.

its was written in reviews comment the room is not clean and I got worried about this but to be honest the room was very clean the bed sheet ، pillow ,carpet and towels but the Furniture is old The staff is professional, helpful and friendly i am happy to deal with them . starbucks in the lobby and good outdoor table my room was suite with balcony sea view big room and if i will repeat my visit i well take same room

the value of money is good. and staff are supportive they arrange for our PCR test and airport taxi

when we checked in the receptionist said I’m upgrading your room but the fact he gave us the same type with twin beds instead of king bed and then when we checked again he said all the rooms are full ! how come and i have booked week ago! but next day shifted to the same room type i booked without upgrade! when we ask for portable plug was chargeable for 10 USD😳

Good services provided by the hotel staff. specially the lady at the reception gave an excellent service. nearby to most of the important places. plenty of restaurant options are available nearby. breakfast menu was great.

The cleanliness can be better. it’s always difficult to convey your message in English to the room services. an English speaking person at the room service could have made the stay better as it was difficult to convey my request every time I called the room services.
