Clarion Hotel Golden Horn

Great location connecting to different places in istanbul. Clean hotel they clean rooms all the time. Friendly staff. Spacious room and nice view

The AC doesn't get below 23 and it takes long time to get cold. The pillows are not from good quality. The breakfast is very standard and lacks variety of food such as fruits, cakes, muffins, waffles, and different types of juice. The lighting system is annoying either you turn on most of the light or all off

we really enjoyed our stay at this property! We had missed a flight back to the US and needed to extend our stay until our next flight. This was very stressful for us because we had work commitments and were traveling with family, so we had to scramble to get flights home. Birsen was helped us so much to ensure we knew what to do to make our flights home, and we are so grateful for that. the hotel is very nice and relaxing. you can see the Bosporus and miniaturk across the street. at the beginning of our trip, we had stayed a few nights in another hotel closer to the center of town (we had traveled to multiple cities in turkey on our travels). interestingly enough, the cab rides here to the center of town were far more convenient than being in Taksim (when we were in taksim, cab rides took more than an hour to get anywhere, whereas at this hotel, it only took 20 minutes by cab to get to Topkaki). this hotel is far more relaxing than other options in predictable places like Taksim and Sultanahmet. you can’t go wrong booking here! I recommend it!

there was nothing I didn’t like

The friendliness of the staff was truely amazing. Breakfast was good with good quality food and a traqualising view. I had breakfast at the hotel during my entire stay! Di not want to miss the sun rising on the Golden Horn. Beautiful view with goid food & attentive staff. The room was spotless. It was cleaned twice aday. We had nice notes & chocolates on our bed every evening. Bathroom is big & comfortable. Bed is NICE. The shuttel service was a plus. I used a free ride from the hotel to some major streets in Istanbul. I would happily stay again in Clarion whenever back again to Istanbul.

The location was good for me as I get overwhelmed with Istanbul busy life & streets. The hotel was my remote quietness in the morning & at night when i'm back. However, to those who enjoy the busy Istanbul I say be noted that the hotel is far away from all major attractions. There isn't anything to see in the area of the hotel. Therefore, the hotel provides free rides to places like Taqseem or Vadi Istanbul and the. Airport and so on.

Everything is lovely and beautiful. the staff are super helpful, the rooms are cozy and clean, room service is always on time and efficient, their breakfast is delicious and tasty, everything is gorgeous and it was a great experience with them, 1st but never the last

i didn’t know that the rooms that doesn’t have a view have windows for the hotel from the inside, it’s beautiful, but we don’t know when it’s sunny, cloudy, etc. but if you want a view to the lake or the street, choose your room to be with a view. if it doesn’t matter don’t worry rooms that have windows to the hotel itself are clean, cost, and beautiful

Just take care of going to Outside seafood restaurant around the hotel. They are very expensive and the food is not that good. you will these restaurants flyers in Hotel reception so my advice is to ignore them.

Food is great, rooms are spacious and tidy, the staff is brilliant, especially Ms. Malak - thank a lot to her for keeping in mind all the requests. The big plus is a noise isolation - you can barely hear something inside the room. If you use taxi or rent a car, the access to the major highways is very easy - no need to drive through the busy areas. Try to book a room with a bay view - it is awesome.

(Not a hotel problem) Unfortunately, the location of hotel lacks big grocery stores, cafe's, pubs, etc - you will most likely have to take a taxi (or walk for a while :D). But, on the other side - no noise from the street.

The hotel is one of the best hotels I have visited! The staff throughout the hotel are so nice and helpful! The whole team is top notch! A special thanks to, - Magnolia - Furkan - Gokcem - Chef Taner - Mert - Naile these are names I can remember but all the staff are so nice! And its a child-friendly hotel! My 1.5-year-old son love the staff. - the cleaning staff, the rooms are always as clean and I have never experienced problems with the shower or anything in the room. Wifi access everywhere. Fitness room, not so big but has most of the equipment, very happy there too. Incredibly good food, the breakfast is fantastic, the view is Beautiful! We are extending the stay on the hotel, we are so satisfied! and we will definitely visit the hotel again!

We had a wonderful experience at clarion . Every staff member we encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues and friends !Thank you so much for arranging cute and tasty cake for my partner in such short notice of time.The decorations in room was amazing..spot on with everything that we recieved during our stay..Its beyond words. And thank u for making our days pleasant and wonderful.Breakfast was so tasty .room was superb with lovely views.The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. the attention to detail was impressive,because they brought me a cake on my birthday 🎁 🎂 and housekeepers always made sure that we have enough stuff such as water,shampoo,etc… But what truly sets this hotel apart is the warmth and hospitality of the staff. They were always available to help with any request, and their kindness and professionalism were genuinely heartwarming. It also had a restaurant with a breathtaking view of the city The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, with plenty of amazing restaurants and attractions within walking distance. We can't wait to return and experience the magic of Clarion Hotel again!"

Great hotel with nice facilities, great rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. We had trouble the first few nights with a rude family across from our room, who made a lot of noise, let their children run around the hallways, use skateboards, screamed and cried and just would not let anyone sleep. We complained to the staff however they were not able to fix the problem so we were moved to different room on the upper levels and we could finally get some rest. In this regard Zeynep Hakin Tuzunkan was very kind and understanding regarding the unpleasant guests we had to deal with and even offered a complementary dinner at their restaurant as well as moving us to a quiet room.

The hotel is far away from anything you want to visit really. So you will be using taxis a lot. From the hotel the staff will easily find you one when you go out but its a lot difficult to find a decent taxi on your way back. The bar and restaurant need to include alcoholic beverages in their menu. You are a hotel and you are welcoming guests from all around the world, that may want to enjoy at least a beer on terrace without the need to go out, especially in the evening after you had a tiresome day visiting Istanbul. At least some beers in the fridge for the guests, would be appreciated. The food in the restaurant was mediocre at best, but not that big of an issue since you will eat mostly in the city, where food is everywhere and amazing.
