Germir Palas Hotel - Special Class0

Hi, Location was just right, what exactly I needed. Since I was travelling from airport, i needed the closest hotel to bus station, it took me just 5 minutes to get there with my two luggage. The room was tidy and clean. I very enjoyed facility also breakfast which was fresh all what was required even above. Stuff was very kind and very helpful, I had some stuff that required refrigerator they kindly put them in there for a night, also they helped me with my heavy luggage.

the only concern was that I wish there would be no smoking customers and a good air ventilation system. sometimes their smoke was coming.

Location, decor , cleanliness.

Staff somewhat reluctant to help the customers in need. Saw elderly couple struggling to carry with luggage but no help at hand.

Great location, a very short walk to the airport bus drop off and also the metro. There's a very nice old-school vibe to the hotel that feels authentic despite it being a fairly new building. The room was comfortable with a decent bed and a good walk-in shower. The breakfast was just okay, everything you would need but I would have preferred more hot options.

No option to control the temperature. It was either heating on or off (was uncomfortable when on).

The Germir Palas Hotel taksim was in an absolute ideal location for visiting the city of Istanbul. The room was extremely comfortable although a little bit dated. Such a shame there was no restrraunt facilities to eat Iin house. There is so much potential with the roof garden which during my stay seemed slightly forgotten there is also potential with the streetside terrace which is also underused. The management are missing such valuable opportunities to turn this hotel round and make it the boutique hotel it deserves to be..however these issues would certainly not prevent me from staying there again due to the good value for money factor but I'm sure like many other seasoned travellers I would be more than happy to pay a higher premium if the hotel was slightly upgraded. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay but was slightly frustrated by the potential this lovely hotel. Could have to offer

Superb location, close to Istiklal Street and the metro. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed a delightful breakfast on the rooftop with a stunning view. They generously upgraded my room from one with no view to a room with a magnificent view of the Bosphorus. Istanbul has cast its magical spell on me. Thank you Germir Palas. Next time, you'll be my first choice, and yes, I will definitely be back soon.

The location is great. The staff at the front desk was really kind and helpful. The view from the very charming terrace, where the breakfast is available, is great.

The selection of food at breakfast was quite limited, except for the variety of cheeses and olives.

Everything about the hotel was superb. Staff, service, breakfast, rooms, cleanliness, location everything was perfect and comfortable. Hotel was hardly at 100 meters distance from Metro station and at around 200meters from Airport bus shuttle stand. Taksim square and istikal Street was also v v near. For us the stay was pleasant and very comfortable.

I stayed in this hotel 10 years ago, and this is my second time.. Everything went smooth in my short visit this time.. Location is perfect .. very close to the bus station to/from airport and at the same time right at Taksim square with access to metro and transport if you need to commute.. The hotel is well maintained and facilities are good.. I just miss the time when they used to serve breakfast on the roof .. it was amazing

I was initially told that they couldn’t find my booking. I showed them the email confirmation then an hour later when the other person came, he allowed me to check in.

Great location at the heart of city centre,Taksim square. Very helpful staff specially the manager.very cozy and antique hotel.Breakfast was very delicious,also room service was really good.I even asked for water at 2 am and they sent to my room for no charge! I will definitely come to this hotel again! I recommend park view room strongly as hotel upgraded our room to .
