Point Hotel Taksim

I am shocked that on my way out, the people at reception asked to le dé them my phone: they asked me to hand them my Booking App because “they needed to check my reservation number”, and instead, they wrote a positive review IN MY NAME without telling me. The hotel service was pretty decent, so I am appalled they did this, as if I were not going to find out…..I find it unacceptable that they are willing to cheat their clients for such a dumb reason. I was otherwise going to give them a good review…..

Perfect location! Within a walking distance you can reach feels like a half of the main attractions and a variety of places to eat out. I stayed with my mum and we enjoyed the swimming pool with sauna a lot. We were twice in the pool and there was no one except us (maybe because our stay was in off season)! I was afraid that breakfast would be a typical continental stuff but luckily there were a lot of Turkish specialties like sucuck, menemen, olives, tons of types of cheese, honey, and simit. If you are big fan of typical continental breakfast, you'll find options for you as well. I'd also like to highlight the quality of service. Every day we were taken care of by the manager Pelin who made sure we had everything we needed during our stay to enjoy Istanbul without any problems. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and can highly recommend it to others.

-The room furniture and decoration does not represent a five-star hotel. -There is always a lot of noise outside the rooms through the hallways. -Many people keep knocking at the door despite the 'Do not Disturb' sign being turned on.

Taking a vacation after 4 years with the family due to covid and many unforseen reasons, Point Taksim was a gem in the Mist of all. As a genius 3 member, we always opt for hotels that offer the best in the service, and value for the best in price. After searching for hours and days and months I was able to find Point. We booked the executive senior suite which completely full filled the requirements I wanted , the view of Bosphorus, the view of the city and the space. Everything was well organised. The hotel is well placed and near walking distance to Istiklal CD, you enjoy the view, the Taksim Square and the food. As we had travelled during the busiest months of the year. We kept a close eye on the movement. Alot of good restaurants around the area. Hotel is well equipped with all kind of facilities, best I would say the view. My kids often enjoyed the Executive Lounge with wonderful morning hostess and kept their appetite in touch. Lovely stay lovely weather and lovely view. A must stay.

The breakfast was very good but as portkal fan and coffee in.the morning those two were missing. But other than that there is nothing to dislike in this hotel. Coffee and Portkal is my personal choice.

very spacious suite, large breakfast buffet and the staff very helpful and nice

as we were located in the 7th floor, we heard a lot of noise during the night and daytime from upstairs, which made sleep dificult. Hotel location is great, very central. but if you want to get a cab or uber, horrible place for traffic.

Excellent location of the hotel near to taksim maydan and s lot of restsurants cofees....

The Staff in the swimming pool were not friendly abd requested extra payment to access the swimming pool although this is already included in the booking I recommend to have more friendly behavior from the Staff in the swimming pool.

I was in Istanbul many times and in this hotel a few times before but this time it was absolutely the best hotel stay ever. I mean the hotel did not change much but hospitality improved a lot. The staff was fantastic. My first impression has started with Mr. İnanç T. who professionally assisted with my request at Reception. He was very professional and I really liked the way that he treats any kind of request from guests in a very polite and nice way. During my stay, there was snow and frozen temperature in Istanbul, and in my room, it was a bit cold due to this outside extreme weather. I was immediately moved to a better and bigger room. Ms. Gurbet A. helped and assisted with it and each day was checking if I feel ok - very polite and hospitable. The restaurant facilities are superb and the waitresses are so professional and have outstanding client service. Mr. Ş. Firat Ö. was an excellent Restaurant şef and make me and my guest feel really special. We were felt like we are VIP guests - thank you very much for this experience! I would like to thank the whole Taksim Point Hotel Team for its exceptional treatment and professionalism. Not often nowadays do I see companies that understand the value of a client-oriented approach. Highly recommend the hotel. The hotel made a wonderful vacation for my wife and me. I highly recommend this hotel, apart from its great location, the hotel complex and its staff were unparalleled, sometimes we were embarrassed by the many requests but everyone kindly did it as quickly as possible, the hotel restaurant was interesting part of this hotel because they served us on the top floor with a unique view and in a completely professional way, I hope we will go to Istanbul again and stay in this hotel again.

location is great as its near by everything , staff were so friendly , they upgrade my room without asking them. for sure i will stay again in the same Hotel in future.

maybe the view but because of the location of such type of hotels in the city center you wouldn’t find a hotel all of its rooms having a nice view. any how for me wasn’t big issue.

Good hotel with aminities and great service Breakfast was good wity good spread. The location was 3 min to Taksim square Near by many shops as well lot of food outlets as well as sheesha place. The guest incharge Gurmeth (hope splelled correctly) was really supportive on request and making a better experience FnB manager was courteous to offer things when we dine at Executuve lounge We had booked room with Executive lounge (access to beverages all day and food in evening)...the view (bhosphorus) was great from Executive lounge and 9th floor where breakfast is served Gym was good too

Initial room offered was not good but it was changed The view one is building side or other side would be open houses view. Some issues on room with plug not working but was immediately fixed
