Very good breakfast at the terrace with a beautiful view. Welcoming staff. The hotel location is close to the local places of interest.

Avoid the room in front of the reception on the 1st floor, even if it‘s given to you like a „free upgrade“. Otherwise during the night you hear each arriving guest ringing at the door or listening together with a receptionist to his favorite videos :)

What I really enjoyed about my stay at HHK hotel was the fabulous view from our room. Anyone staying at the hotel can also enjoy the view from the hotel restaurant or from the terrace. I'm absolutely pleased with the service. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed hammam & sauna in the hotel. It's also conveniently located, pretty close to the underground. We quickly and easily walked to the Süleymaniye Mosque & Grand Bazar from the hotel.

We were a bit afraid at first when walking through the neighborhood with abandoned buildings trying to find the hotel. We later found the quicker way & got quite used to, I guess it's not really dangerous there

Just to get this out of the way- I would absolutely stay here again- and am planning to when I next visit Istanbul. The hotel has a great vibe in a perfect location, and the best view you could hope for in Istanbul. The breakfast is simple and fresh and again has a perfect view. The hotel is a restored Ottoman mansion which I absolutely loved- everything was totally authentic from the creaky floorboards to the dated decor. The staff are super helpful given the old building is split leveled and of course there are no lifts anywhere. The place is rough around the edges which again just adds to the authenticity, and yet clean and comfortable. Its a few minutes from Suleymaniye- one of my favourite spots in Istanbul, and also a few minutes from all modes of public transport You need to know that amazing location and gorgeous views come with a drawback- the place is located up a VERY steep hill. For me this was great as was good for fitness, but may be difficult for some on foot. There is also a metro line that runs directly under the hill the property is on- so expect some noise if you are a light sleeper. I personally had no issues as was too tired from all the exploring!!

The best was the view, the location, and the breakfast. The view speaks for itself, the location very close to public transport and within walking distance to Süleymaniye mosque and Egyptian bazaar, in Eminönu area, plenty of fish restaurants to choose from and lots of shopping places at very good prices. The breakfast, wide variety of food, all delicious and Ibrahim especially kind to everybody. Turkish hospitality at very high levels. (Çok teşekkür ederim, Ibrahim!)

We were hosted in the Annex building, which actually has a better location compared to the main building (3 min walk up on a steep hill). However, compared to the pictures on Booking, don't expect the same thing. It was all clean and beds very comfortable, but the bathroom was very badly organized. The sink was super small, shoebox size, and it was impossible not to get wet every time we used it. The hanger was broken so impossible to hang your clothes and towels when showering, so you really have to put everything on the toilet which is right next to the shower, so very easy to get everything wet. However, there was good water pressure and very warm.

The staff and service were amazing. We got there at 4 a.m. and they received us and helped us check in immediately. The property had everything you needed for a short trip, and the breakfast was simple but enough to start your day in a good mood, plus the view from the hotel and from your breakfast table is stunning! 😊

The WiFi connection was very poor and unstable. The apartment was downhill from the hotel, and it’s a very steep hill, so the breakfast is not easily accessible and it’s definitely not disabled-friendly. The 2 beds that were supposed to make up the queen-size bed were very uncomfortable.

I stayed in ground floor annex building or apartment. IDK what you call it which is a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The room is big with 2 twin beds. Own TV, WiFi router, kettle, refrigerator, aircon and heater. The room has double lock and the main door of the building has double lock as well. I met someone from upstairs and I asked if she's the owner and she said yes. Breakfast is great. Breakfast is at 8am. Pool can be used after breakfast 'til 2030. They cleaned my room everyday.

I don't recommend staying in this room if your ears are sensitive because it's noisy since it's beside the street. BTW, you have to climb Uphill for the pool and the breakfast.

Location is the best - near to the port, metro, tram stations. Rooms are clean. View to the city from the hotel is amazing. Small pool is a good option to dive & get energy after a long city tours.

Headquarter of the hotel is the best. Do not use to stay ANNEX rooms of the hotel which is 100-200 m away from the hotel's headbuilding (the one where the pool is)

Have you ever been to Istanbul? If not, then be sure to come here. And be sure to stay in its old city. This is an amazing, magical place! We had a really nice stay at the hotel. All the staff (and specially Hakkan and Ibrahim) were very friendly and helpful with everything We needed. We stayed with our 1,5 years old daughter and they were so nice with her too. The room was provided with everything you need for a good stay, they cleaned it every day and the shower products were refilled also every day. The breakfast was also good with sweet and salty options. But the best of all was the view from the rooftop terrace and feom the breakfast table. Amazing.

The hotel could be better maintained from outside, but for us this was not a problem at all. The swimming pool was very clean and good maintained.

Everything is good in this hotel . The only thing that i didnt like is a little noisy. but in istanbul you will be every time arrive to the room very tired . You will not feel about this noise hahaha .
