The price is reasonable, the hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. They gave us everything we asked for: a kettle, an extra towel, water. The room is clean. As for the location, it's close to metro, to bus stops and to the tram. This district seems to be dirty, I think poor locals live here, but the prices are relly low, you can buy everything twice, three or even four times cheaper than in the city center. Even if you walk 200 metres in the direction to the center, the prices are higher there.

I guess that was the most horrible view from the hotel room in my life, and I travelled around more than 30 countries, but despite that, I recommend this hotel if you need a budget stay for 1 or 2 nights

I loved this place and I would really recommend it. It is situated in a really nice quarter of Istanbul, with many restaurants, shops, markets. I felt safe in that quarter and people are very friendly and super nice. It is very close also to Suleymaniye Mosque and many many shops that are even better and non touristic. The room is really spacious with beautiful view on Istanbul. I really recommend to see the terrace. There is enough space to do yoga in the morning or just sit, relax and enjoy quiet evening after walking the streets of Istanbul. And it really looks like the pictures, even better! I would not hesitate to come back any time. Thanks for nice stay!

The 2 things I liked the most about the property are the views and the location. The king suite has a really nice view and also benefits from a shared big open balcony, where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning or a beer at night. It doesn’t have a restaurant like I expected, but there are many shops around where you can procure your own food and drinks. The location of the place I enjoyed a lot, despite other people complaining that it’s a bit rough, it feels like a timeless piece of Istanbul, away from the touristy streets. If you’re looking for tourist stuff, with touristy restaurants and prices, then this place is not for you. If you’re after something authentic and raw, this area is perfect. it’s also very conveniently located close to all the important sites.

It’s true what other people said, there is no cleaning and changing towels during your stay, which for me wasn’t an issue, as I don’t like having my stuff touched by other people. There were some issues with the room card not working, but at least they are polite and do their best to help you. I was confused as to why there was a kettle but no cups. We also got one cover for 2 people, I don’t know if that’s their policy or they just made a mistake.

The location of the hotel gives you many opportunities to walk around the center of the historical part of Istanbul, within walking distance of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia but also the Grand Bazaar.

The hotel is in need of maintenance because things are slowly falling apart( the AC wasn't very good, the lights didn't work too well, the internet was always down). Also, the staff didn't speak English very well so sometimes it was hard to understand each other.

It is really close to everithing, the staff was really friendly. The hotel has elevator, a supermarket nearby , places to eat really close. The room has AC and the bed is comfortable. There was one guy at the reception who let as bring the luagage earlier then our check in and also after our check out so we could walk in the city without them. Also in one morning he showed( like literally he walked with us there) us an authentic restaurant where to eat breakfast. The food and the prices were pure gold

The room is ok, a bit small, may be a little noisy because of the outside noises, but I expected to be like this because it is in the middle of the city. (Nearby is galata Bridge, Eminonu). If you just want to sleep here the price is the best.

Great and welcoming staff, proximity to Fatih with all its banks and offices. 5-10 mins walk to Eminonu. Nice room, spacious bathroom. Very good value.

Areas down the hill are fine. One of the most authentic breakfast spots (Efsane Kahvaltı) is near. Nice terraces with shishas - all nearby. However the neighborhood up the hill looks like you should be particularly aware of your surroundings :)

The staff was extremely helpful, especially the lady at the front desk. She was amazing, she helped us find a parking spot near by at a good price, was always available for questions and fulfilled all our requests. Her English is very good and I'm not entirely sure but I think I hear her speak Russian aswell. Also, there is always someone at the front desk if you need anything. The hotel is located in a really charming area of the old town and it is in walking distance to the Spice Bazaar, Galata Bridge and other iconic landmarks. The street on which it was located was cobblestone and full of vendors that offered all kinds of traditional food which was delicious. The hotel is relatively small but it has an elevator and all the basic needs at a really good price point. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to experience the not-so-tourist side of the tourist area of Istanbul. We will definitely book again when visiting.

I can't say I didn't like something but these are some points that one should keep in mind when booking: - the rooms are a bit small (we booked the cheapest one so that might be why) - we experienced some loud guests (not the hotel's fault, obviously) - the street is busy sometimes late into the night and there is an almost constat smell of food (we didn't mind this at all, we found it adds to the charm of the place) - the street is cobblestone and quite tight and busy so it's a bit tricky to drive (I'm an inexperienced driver but I managed just fine, it just requires a bit of extra attention) or get there of you have any disabilities (the hotel has an elevator thought)

Location - is not very far from the main street. Easy to find, actually. Price/quality are good. Enough clean. A lot of cafes for not expansive food. There are small shops for buying water etc. Metro station is near (on the bridge) - station Haliç (Халиш/Халич).

Window view for building. In the night - once - neighbors made a lot of noise. They bit on the walls.

the best stay in Istanbul, location is close to all touristic locations(grand bazar, Eminunou, karakoy, laleli, taksim about 40 min….), staff are very helpful and they are always there to help you whatever you need, metro is about 7 min walking and the bus station about 5 min, very close to egyptian market , lots of restaurants and shops , a supermarket … in the same street, safe at night… highly recommended.
