Radisson Hotel President Old Town Istanbul

Location in the old city was perfect. Facilities including spa, sauna and steamer were fantastic. Rooms were a good size and and bedding was comfortable.

Air conditioner hardly worked. We asked management to look at addressing however, we could not get the room cool enough to have an adequate sleep. The mini bar fridge was also an issue. Drinks were mostly luke warm.

Everything was good

Car parking is in Closed area between 09:00 a.m. and 22:00 p.m. You can not enter your car to the area. You can park your car outside of the area and take your car after 22:00 p.m. This thing annoyed me a lot.It should be mentioned as a note in booking , not inform the customer after booking. Especially if it was a non-refundable reservation

Wonderful staff, especially in the entrance and reception area. We have travelled a lot to all kind of hotels around the world, but this is BY FAR the best service ever! Even beating Marina Bay Sands in Singapore! The staff, they ALL were so nice and kindly, helpful, ALWAYS smiling and did a fantastic job! Even asked follow up questions to earlier discussed things or help given. Offering help anytime. We had to check out earlier because of some unforeseen reasons, but talked about coming back later one day and one of the main reasons is the staff. Otherwise; great large room (standard), comfy beds, fantastic room service and complimentary. Nice restaurant at the terrace and swimming pool/ GYM/ SPA area.

Nothing to point out actually. But If I have to mention something as a imrpovement area, it will be the breakfast. Such a classy hotel as this one, I expected a better breakfast. F.ex; more variety, possibility to order omlettes.

Location is excellent, clean hotel, helpful staff. Car park is free for guests.

The roads to access the hotel in the city center are closed everyday 9:00-21:00 due to municipality restrictions. The access was extremely difficult and may not be possible if municipality staff is not present at the barriers. This major issue was not mentioned on the hotel booking page. The second main isssue is the parking where you have to leave the car keys inside the car and the car is moved by the parking staff to different location for their need. My car was scratched but I didn't noticed right away because I didn't expect it to happen and didn't inspect the car before leaving.

Health and Spa facilities, varied breakfast, and good location. Near to tram Station, shops, restaurants and Grand bazaar. Is about 15 mins walk to Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet mosque, Topkapi Palace, Basilica cistern, bosphorus river also close by.

Spa facilities need to be open longer. Superior room 141 terrible view looking out to a broken and dirty building. Room 140 air conditioning didn't keep the room cold enough, and there was also a smell of chemical in the room. The room was small and there should be a mirror above the desk. Outside the hotel, the roads were not clean, litter lying around.

Great Location. Good Staff, all of them very helpful. This was our family second visit to this hotel. We love the spa facilities as well. Great view from the breakfast lounge and top floor restaurant.

One recommendation very important is the stairs coming from 7th floor(pool) to spa is very dangerous. My wife fell down hit her head and hurt her arm badly. My son fell down and got hurt. Many people we have seen in our last 2 visits falling. Last 3 steps no rail handle and no anti slippery mat on the stairs, Which is always wet. I would like to see the hotel taking action about this. I think it is very important before something really worst happens.

I am so glad to go with Raddison considering there were 1000+ choices provided by Booking.com for Istanbul. The reason I went with Raddison definitely because of the brand as the trip is to a country for the first time and review by other travellers in booking.com and google.com Raddison exceeded my expectations I would have to stay. Very helpful staff, All amenities in room, good lounge, swimming pool, jacuzzi, massage and great restaurant / foods with an awesome view from terrace. Quite location. It was perfect for a vacation Above all, it was a in a great location, walking distance to Grand bazaar and Beyazit Tram station All amenities for a tourist were near by. First day, I had SIM card (Vodafone) , ATM, Istanbul card sorted out near Beyzait Tram station. Super safe in the morning hours and It was safe in the evening/night as well. we take a stroll between 9 pm and 11.30pm. The city was still buzzing

The swimming pool is small

Radisson is the best of the best! Beautiful hotel, professional staff, perfect service, great location, delicious breakfasts, and dinners! STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! I was so tired after night flight and got a surprise when open the bedroom door! Bedroom (sea view) was booked, but without balcony. I got bedroom with huge terrace and amazing sea view(room 438)! THANK YOU so much for this present! When you leaving taxi or transfer, Radisson Staff taking care of you. They are so kind and nice, always smiling, very helpful. About great location I wrote last time. Radisson in the middle of all famous and historical places. Also close to Grand Bazaar(basically front of it), all shops in 2-5 minutes walk, a lot of cafe, restaurants, pharmacies around, public transport. Definitely will be back again in Autumn! Location is great, you can get to many attractions by walk. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good selection of food for breakfast and great view from the restaurant.

We had an issue with the room. Initially we were given a standard superior room, though we booked a superior room with sea view. It was resolved after I talked to managers at reception, but we still we spent 2 nights (out of 7) in a lower class room. Gym is quite small, there is only one treadmill. One day when I wanted to work out in the morning it was busy, so I had to skip my training.
