Victory Hotel & Spa Istanbul

Absolutely spotless hotel and the staff couldn't do enough for us. They are so friendly and helpful. Great central location, literally 2 minutes walk to the metro, which is then a 5 minute ride for about 10p to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. The buffet breakfast was typical Turkish food and us being of Italian heritage were more than happy with it. Even if you are a bit fussy there is something you could eat. If not, there is a fantastic food stand directly outside that serves a fantastic choice of sandwiches and kebabs with cheese toasties for less than a pound. Would definitely recommend this hotel and when I do return to Istanbul, I would definitely stay here again!

The room was spacious for 3 single beds. Nice bathroom. Well located, near Sultanhamet; lots of shopping stores for long/party dresses. Close to tram station. The breakfast was good. The swimming pool and Spa were great. The gym was great, too

Air conditioner did not work properly. We called to be helped. The staff did come but never a company, to fix it. The small window was not enough to allow fresh air. Since check-in the room's floor was never cleaned. I had to pass the shower towel mat around the room to eliminate the feeling of ground coffee... Overall, we liked the hotel, but they need to improve only these 2 little details for room #111 (Air conditioner and mopping the floor)

The food was amazing, fresh and loved the variety, the staff were amazing especially Engin (apologies if i dont have his full name, but was the Receptionist) who greeted us and upgraded our room at no extra cost, supportive and so helpful

I booked the hotel the second time. And it will be the third time there, incha Allah . The best thing I like about the hotel is its location: opposite the Havist station to connect to the airport, and close to the Beyazit meydani metro station. With regard to cleanliness, it is daily, and I thank the worker who cleans the houses, as she is very respectful. I thank all the hotel workers. As for breakfast, it is very varied and wonderful

We like location, gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room etc. The rooms were clean, just enough for 2 people. There was fridge, ac etc. Sauna, gym,pool & steam room were free to use. Good breakfast

Could provide a iron box. I was surprised that the property didn't have the dinner service considering they got an excellent roof top facility with views across the sea. We feel like the staff who sold us the mobile Sim overcharged us considerably looking on the other shop windows.

very clean and well run hotel. It is very close to everything you want to see and do in Istanbul. Very helpful staff and a particular mention to the manager Guven, who runs the hotel with class and style. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Istanbul.

only let down was the Hamam and spa. While the pool sauna and steam room, which are exceptionally clean, are free to hotel residents, I found it expensive for a Hamam and massage. the staff who lease the property should pay attention to customers and less to their phone

The staff was like family. At check-in, the manager (Guven) offered us tea and a chance to "unwind" while our luggage was taken up to our room. The young man who took us up to our room made sure that we knew where everything was located and asked if there was anything else we needed. The breakfast was a buffet style, but we handed our plate to one of the line chefs and they filled it with the items we pointed to. Very safe in this current climate. The location was excellent. Just across from the Grand Bazaar and 100 meters from the tram. Speaking of the tram, even though we had a reloadable card for the buses and trams, it didn't work because now you have to have a "HES" code tied into the card. Guven was kind enough to get us the application we needed online and assisted us in completing the form and applying for the code.

We had two different rooms during our stay (we left Istanbul for a few days and returned). In both rooms, the small refrigerators did not work. The staff at the hotel called for an electrician, but because of the holiday & quarantine restrictions, it was not fixed during our stay.

The hotel was in the city centre, a lot of shops and good restaurants. Our room had a beautiful view.

The balcony was so small that not a single person fit. No bathrobe and the inside pool had cold as ice water. We paid for a triple room but we received a double room with an extra bed for the child.

I loved the hotel! It was clean, spacious, comfortable and most importantly for me is I felt safe.

Only thing I have to say is, not any of the staff knew any basic English which I find unprofessional. I think to be working in a hospitality setting it should be important to know atleast basic English. Especially in a hotel where you will have international guests coming. It’s hard to communicate and makes things a little stressful for you and the guest. I think it’s a good idea to next time hire people that know basic English. The cleaners ofcourse no need but I’m talking about the receptionist. They need to atleast know a little of basic English because the guy that was on reception when I stayed didn’t know one word of English. That’s all I had to say. But I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again and recommend to other people.
