Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa Dubai

From the moment we checked in, until the moment we left the hotel, everyone was so wonderful with us and we felt overwhelmed with all the kindness and superior level of service! My family and i had a wonderful experience and the hotel staff are simply amazing. A special shoutout to Mr. Anuj, Mr. Abhi and Ms. Maria for their amazing support! You guys were amazing in every way and we appreciate everything you’ve done to make this trip so special! I don’t want to forget anyone, but even the security staff were fantastic! I would give this hotel more than 10/10, but unfortunately I can’t! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning to visit Dubai! The service standard is above standard as i’ve been to many 5 star hotels in Dubai, i have to say, Le Royale Meridien have set the standard so high! Well done guys! Keep up the amazing standard and we will see you again very soon! God bless you all!

There isn’t anything you wouldn’t like!

Everything about this hotel is lovely. The staff always make a point of acknowledging you when you're walking around. The hotel is spotless and smells amazing as soon as you walk in. There are 3 pools, 2 with swim up bars and plenty of loungers so you're not getting up at silly o clock to grab one and there is a separate children's pool near the adult pool. There is a great variety of restaurants to choose from and the food and drink is to a really high standard. The hotel itself is in a really good position with it's own private beach. We were only there for 4 days but we absolutely loved it and would go back there again in a heart beat.

There was nothing that we didn't like about this hotel....apart from leaving.

Staff were amazing, welcoming, and would go out of their way if you requested anything. Buffet breakfast was exceptional - it had everything for everyone! 3 different pools to chose from and the beach was quiet and private. About 15 min walk to the metro and 20 mins to Dubai marina. The gym/spa was under renovation but they offered free shuttles to their sister hotel to use their amenities if needed.

The pool waiters at the main pool seemed very lazy and were not as helpful as the other smaller pools for some reason so we never stayed their again. We had to waive them down countless times and when asked to order, they forgot about us more than once.

After looking at nearly every hotel in Dubai for our first wedding anniversary, we finally decided upon Le Royal Meridien, and we were not disappointed. We loved everything about our stay. Service was exceptional. Staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay will be great. On reception we were greeted with welcome drinks. Check-in was quick. We got a complimentary room upgrade and a cake. The room was new, clean and stylish, with spacious balcony. We didn’t hear any noise neither from the neighboring rooms nor from the street. The hotel's territory is an absolute gem - lush vegetation, roaming peacocks, different birds and cats wandering around. There is simply no other hotel in Marina which offers this (with the exception of Habtoor, but it’s a worse place overall). There are three pools to choose from, so you can always find yourself a place to chill. From our observation, most people prefer the main pool with a bar and infinity pool, so the third small pool is never overcrowded. The beach is lovely, and in August there are not many people. In the morning water in the ocean is crystal clear and you can see little fish. Breakfast is good. You can choose from a wide variety of food (fresh fruits/vegetables, eggs in all variations, crepes, pancakes, waffles, flakes, muesli, porridge, steamed rice, etc). There are many restaurants on the hotel grounds, so you will not get tired of eating the same food every evening. We particularly liked the Indian restaurant, highly recommend ordering the set to taste everything. Warning - it’s a LOT of food (for 2 people), but it’s very delicious. Couple of times we ordered in-room dining - can’t complain there either. Everything is tasty and portions are big. At the last day of our stay, we again were complimented with a bottle of wine, fruits and a hand-written note from a manager. Needless to say, the hotel exceeded our expectations and we felt like a valuable guests.

There was some maintenance work going on in the corridors, but staff makes sure it's as unintrusive and non-disruptive as possible. Spa and Hammam were closed.

Last visit was 20 years ago, they maintain the same service quality, very large resort and big green fields for my son to run around and play football. So many sunbeds where you can find a nice location by the pools or on the beach without having to do extra effort to secure one. Play area for the kids, I wish it gets enhanced and kids club. You can ask for a cart/buggy ride to the beach or anywhere inside the resort since it's very large. I have stayed in the resort more than I went outside which I don't usually do in Dubai, good quality time.

My room AC, they offered a room upgrade which solved my problem.

The property is spotlessly clean and very friendly staff , however pool side service was hit and miss and kept having to ask for drinks , food , buckets of ice . It just got a little draining . The beach service was appalling , very little staff and not attentive , 2 occasions we ended up leaving and going back to the pool area , where it was slightly better but not great . The hotel needs to improve its beach service completely as currently it isn’t working for their guests . Would I stay here again ? , probably not as I’m comparing now to other hotels offering a much better overall service . On site restaurants were great , especially Rhodes twenty 10 and Zhenga , outstanding food and service .

The beach service was appalling , not enough staff and left guests waiting far too long .

It’s my home away from home when travelling as I’m a photographer and Dubai is the major interjection with Asia if you fly with Emirates 🇦🇪. I first stayed at Le Royal Meridian approximately 4 years ago and never looked back. It has something for everyone. The range of restaurants is exceptional, the staff go out of their way way to make you feel welcome and friendly and professional, the hotel has over 3 swimming pools and has its only private beach. Only problem is that there is very little inventive to leave the hotel!

Absolutely nothing!

Really great service starting before we even set foot out of the taxi right until we got back in the taxi on the last day. Greeted by smiles everywhere and everyone super keen to help. Wonderful facilities - very clean and spacious. The grounds are a real treat compared to any other hotel we saw - not cramped in and choice of sunbeds at pools and beach. This end of the beach is vast too, much nicer than rest of JBR, and it's easy to get to other parts of town because of hotels proximity at the top of the strip. Absolutely loved our stay, couldn't recommend it any more.

The food is quite good but the prices are that of fine dining, which it's not. That said I think you're really paying for convenience and service, as with most hotel dining. We ate in quite a few times and no complaints and was always a nice experience. The Ritz Carlton being right next door is a real asset too. Recommend their beach restaurant - stunning food.

Every think about the hotel was a big surprise fir me. Really did not expect to find this beautiful hotel and not discovered by our people for Saudi so ii was very pleased not to see them around so I can be my self as a woman. The dice of the room is a bit small and would love to have it a bit bigger But love the surprise that this hotel really still exists inThe Expensive Dubai
