Good breakfast. Well decorated room / hotel. Very clean. Quaintness of the property. Great location.

The Booking we made through booking.com said the room had an en-suite bathroom. This is not true, it is actually an en-suite shower room. We were subsequently told only one of the rooms at Eight has a bath. Bar is only available until 6 pm which seems far too early! No parking so this is an additional cost - would suggest the hotel arranges a special deal with the nearby car park.

The place was clean and attention very good those things made the hotel very comfortable for anyone which important in this kind of business.

There is something that escapes from your hands and its the noise from people in the streets talking loud early morning perhaps because they returned from drinking or dancing however it can be listened from the room clearly nonetheless the rest about the stay in this place was really nice. Thanks a lot for your service. Kind regards Wladimir Moreno

Lovely large room yet still warm and toasty-feeling, comfy bed. Lots of options to adjust temperatures (windows that open and several radiators). We had a roll top bath in the bedroom which was fantastic after coming in from the cold. The hall areas are cosy and smart too. The location is super central in a cute green with cafes and the historic Plane tree, near to the Baths...and a handy big M&S.

There were only 4 terrestrial TV channels and all others you had to sign in with your own details to apps (iPlayer, Netflix etc.) which isn't ideal. The big mugs provided don't fit the coffee machine (First world problems, eh!) which means you have to take the drip tray out leading to much spillage. Whilst the location is great, it was really noisy at night...more so than in the day, oddly. The sound really echoes through the small streets/lovely stone buildings.

Location is excellent and the employees were super friendly and helpful. Room was immaculate and bed / mattress very comfy. Roll top bath an absolute hit whilst TV popping out of the end of the bed is a novelty I could get used too. Breakfast was great, perfect amount and again super friendly employees.

Noise is a factor but it came up in reviews and is part of being in close proximity to the city so manageable. Felt a luxurious room with a bath like this could benefit from robes and possibly a mini bar.

Excellent, polite and very helpful staff. We kept our bags in the morning, and were then smoothly checked in at the specified time. We had the option of paying at the end of our stay which we did and we also included the breakfast after arrival. Breakfast had a lot of good options, was freshly prepared and delicious. The staff also prepared tea for us on our request after a long day of sightseeing and travel 🧡. Overall, it was cosy, scenic and very central. 2 min from bath abbey, royal baths and next door to Sally lunn's buns. 10/10 recommended

This small hotel was charming. The hotel had a few rooms in the main building and a few in a building around the corner. The hotel is located in a perfect, historical area of Bath. Around the corner from the Roman Ruins and near lovely quaint eateries and candy shops. The main lower floor has small tables and chairs for breakfast and dinner. With dinner reservations we had the best meal in Bath at Eight hotel. Breakfast was at a lovely set table and their were many egg choices along with a continental breakfast choice and a few other choices. Charming setting for meals. The breakfast was an extra cost but worth it, for the convenience and ambiance. Two partitions separate the left and right side of the room. The entrance room (part of the dining area) is rather small but lovely with the reception desk in the corner. The rooms (three) that we booked, were comfortable, modern, very clean. The rooms were very pleasing in the decor. Staff was super nice and helpful!

I loved the hotel for the charm and location. One of our rooms was located around the corner from the main building. Because we travelled from the states, we are very used to climate control. While we we there in early July the rooms were a bit quirky with air flow. In the two rooms in the main building there was portable air conditioning. The temperature on the days we were their was comfortable, but the room in the other building had no air conditioning and only fan access. It was a bit warm at night. My only complaint is that the main hotel area had a narrow, winding staircase with handrails that were some type of metal. This made climbing the stairs a bit of a challenge for me (in my sixties).

This is an absolutely exceptional hotel and an experience that I will fondly remember! It is about a 10-minute walk from the Bath train station and just 350 feet from the Roman Baths and Abbey district. The hotel is small and quaint (8 rooms) in this historical city and they have a second building with 9 rooms just a short distance up the street. Eight provided all of the modern amenities you could want except a lift which is impossible in these older structures so unfortunately, they can not adequately accommodate people with severe physical limitations. I have a foot problem and could not manage to carry my luggage up the curved stairs so the staff graciously moved us to the 1st floor and brought our luggage to the room. The entire facility was immaculately clean and the staff couldn't have been more courteous or helpful. The dinner menu and meal we selected were absolutely superb! I truly can't say enough good things about this experience! We missed breakfast in the morning but I image it would have been exceptional too.

There is nothing negative to say about this facility.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Bath. We parked in southgate car park and it was a short walk through town to get there. Really close to some Lovely shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and the Roman baths and abbey. Couldnt get a better location to see bath. Friendly, attentive staff. Clean rooms with lovely extras such as slippers, eye masks and air con unit. Great breakfast.

Because of the location the noise from the street was loud. We expected it during the day and evening but were woken by drunk people passing by a few times in the early hours. Because of the way the air con unit was positioned we were not able to shut the window. The establishment obviously can’t do anything about noise .

It was pricier than what we'd normally pay for a hotel, but having seen the reviews and photos online, we decided to book anyway. I can honestly say it was the best hotel we've every stayed at. The central location was perfect - close to Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths, the Pump Room, Pulteney Bridge and the shops. The building itself is really quaint and situated next door to the famous Sally Lunn Tea Rooms. Our room was beautifully decorated and had ample space. The staff were very welcoming and breakfast was really good also.

Nothing.
