The Yard in Bath Hotel

The hotel was in a perfect location. The staff was so nice. The room was perfect and the bathroom was large, clean, updated and nice! The breakfast was great! The staff held onto my luggage during the day after my checkout. I had such a great time. Will be staying here every time I return to Bath

I've chosen Yard because of its exquisite interior design. It's definitely a room where you don't just sleep, but it's cozy and it was nice to be in. I didn't expect that the breakfast hamper would be such a treat! It has a warm sustainable touch, and there is so much food for any taste. And I didn't realize how nice it is not to dress up and go to the buffet in the morning. I don't know if my comment will be relevant but my hamper consisted of yogurt, muesli, croissant, fruit salad, orange juice, and milk.

The room could get stuffy in summer. But I let in fresh air through the window even though it was ground floor

The Hotel was very close to the City Centre of Bath and was very quiet. Although it has a car park it is also close the long stay car park (5 mins walk) that has some charging stations for electric vehicles. The in-room breakfast was fabulous and nicely presentend in a basket hanged at the door. The Hotel Manager was also a very nice person. He was transparent to us by mentioning that there was a leak in the room above us a couple of days ago and despite not visible anymore, he offered us a drink at the bar to compensate the inconvenience of the painting not being restored yet.

Despite the fan present in the room it was a very hot couple of nights. The hotel does not have AC and the building is quite old/not insulated. Therefore, with that in mind, we find the price of a night quite high in comparison to some other hotels. That being said, it is a very nice location.

The hotel is cozy and homely. The shower had fabulous water pressure. The bed and bed linens were lovely quality, and the place was so clean with the housekeeper refreshing the room each day. The Breakfast basket left on the door each morning was yummy and fresh and really lovely. Staff so lovely and helpful.

Room is very small, so two of us trying get ready was a little tight. The barn door to bathroom although a lovely interior choice, does mean there is no sound proofing for those using the bathroom. It was very warm in our room and there was a cooling fan, however it didn't make a huge difference. Overall though I'd be very much saying "book the yard at Bath!"

The decor was beautiful, the location was perfect only a short walk from the city centre and the staff were lovely!

There isn’t much I did not like about this hotel, it really was fantastic! But, the only thing my sister and I did both notice was that the blinds could perhaps be better designed-we both found that they were not very good from shielding the light first thing in the morning. This is absolutely fine if you’re an early riser but not so nice if you want a lie in, in the morning.

Breakfast in basket placed on bedroom door was lovely and meant no rushing to get ready in the morning, fresh croissants and lovely muesli. Room was lovely and a step up from some places which can be quite boring and plain, our room was green and gold and nice bathroom

our room was on the road side which whilst not over busy did carry vehicle and foot traffic, and late at night with window open did disturb a bit

The hotel is very stylish and comfortable, and in a very handy location. Also, great to have onsite parking. This was my second visit, as I knew my friends and daughter would like it; they loved it, and are all intending to return! We all loved the wine and cheese selection and the beautiful public areas. The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating

I booked 4 rooms of the same category, and ended up in the smallest, which had no wardrobe. The other rooms were spacious and had plenty of storage space. My toilet seat was not fixed to the toilet. I think Room 11 should be in a lower price bracket than the others.

The Yard at Bath is beautifully done, and is extremely good value (we stayed on a Sunday night) and the staff were all lovely. The place has been designed to such a high finish and while the service was brilliant, none of the staff are in any way pretentious - it was all just very relaxed and delightful.

I say this only to manage expectations - the rooms are of modest size because of the existing structure of the buildings that have been converted, but it has been designed so cleverly that they don't actually feel small.

Location was central, the breakfast hamper was perfect, and delicious. Loved the little napkins! Loved the toiletries provided too. In fact bought a bottle to take home. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was cosy and comfortable; beautifully clean.

A real pain though was the door to the bathroom. It would not close unless one of us wedged it shut with a cushion. We have been married 20 years, but we still like to be able to use the facilities in private as it were!

The hotel is immaculate and there is great attention to detail. The glasses in the bedroom are cut glass high quality as is the coffee and machine in the room Breakfast is healthy continental vegetarian with orange juice yoghurt berries and granola with croissants butter and conserves The hotel has a French Provence feel with lots of lavender growing and a lovely ambience The staff were attentive and very helpful

It was fabulous and we highly recommend it
