A charming, brilliantly located guest house that despite the confines of Georgian architecture manages to give you all the facilities you'd expect in a hotel. The layout of the room was ingenious and looked out over ancient rooftops towards the Abbey. The breakfast was the best I've ever encountered, cooked to order and always perfect. The choice was astounding and the lady who managed it was very welcoming, charming and ever so efficient.

I can't really say there was anything I didn't like. The room was quite cramped, but not to the extent that it was any bother. As I wrote above, it's a Georgian house. What you lose in space is more than made up for by the period charm of the place. It was very comfortable and absolutely everything I needed was there including a very nice shower cubicle and bathroom.

It's a lovely house and a very pleasant B&B to stay if you wish to experience the atmosphere of what you expecte as a tourist in Bath.

Just the comunication at the beginning (I had already been charged and the contact via hotel took some days after that, which I didn't like it). On the contrary, the ladies in charge of breakfast were extremely kind and professional. Price per night was very expensive, although I know it's the standars in Bath (anyway, I had another accomodation in a previous visit to the town just 1 month earlier and that was really great value!)

The location is brilliant for easy access to the city centre with the train station and plenty of amenities and attractions within easy walking distance. The rooms are small in a quirky georgian way but well equipped and due to being tucked away nice and quiet. The staff are lovely and the breakfast brillant. Lots of communication from the B&B to ensure an easy arrival.

Only a small complaint, the chairs in the room we stayed in need some maintence, they're very wobbly. (Room 3) and although the bathroom was brilliantly cleaned the carpet in the bedroom could do with a look over.

The property is fantastically located. It is close the station and the heart of town but set on a quieter road so you have all the advantages of being able to get anywhere you need to get to but without the noise and bustle that often comes with being at the heart of town. It is a Georgian property with a lot of character to it. It is very much in character with the historic parts of the city and is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to stay in a property that reflects the city they are staying in rather than staying in somewhere that could be any hotel in any town. The breakfast is generous, varied and extremely good.

Again, it is a Georgian building with the historical quirks that come with that. There are stairs to all the rooms and the ones to the top floor are quite steep. There is an obvious trade-off in terms of character you get but it may not be the right choice for you if stairs are something you find tricky to manage. If you are considering staying in the single room then it is worth being aware that, whilst all other rooms are en-suite, this one comes with a separate private bathroom. That bathroom is only a few metres from your room and that was not something I found a problem but it is worth knowing what to expect so you can decide if it is the right choice for you.

Excellent location for the centre of Bath, near all tourist hotspots but also quiet. Comfy bed and yummy breakfasts (and plenty of it!) Our room was right at the top so lots of steep stairs, but lovely roof top views. Quite a small room but quaint and very comfortable. Our host Christina was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this guest house and would stay there again should we make a return visit to Bath. Thank you Christina x

Nothing really apart from we had no wifi during our stay, which was our fault for not mentioning it to Christina at the beginning. Turned out it had been accidentally switched off!!! Christina was very apologetic.

Breakfast fabulous - lovely relaxed owner , very close to bath centre . Nice rooms , clean sinks and towels , comfy beds , hair dryer and kettle in the room . Lovely original features and nice art of the walls . Easy to get in - which was helpful .

We took my elderly mum who loved the guest house -the floors are a little uneven in places , which didn’t matter but good to mention for people who are unsteady . busy car park nearby for parking - be mindful of carrying bags etc for 5 mins walk , again didn’t matter but good to know .

The location is superb - walking distance to all the attractions but quiet at night for sleeping. Lovely breakfast room and breakfast. We had rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor which were a good size. Getting the suitcases up to these levels is doable but you have to expect a narrow staircase in a period building. We parked nearby at the Southgate Shopping Centre which was secure and easy to pay for at the end of our 3 night stay - it is much more complicated at the Manvers Street carpark.

The bed in room 2 needs a new mattress and/or slatted frame. It was very saggy on one side. The twin beds in room 4 were very comfortable.

The bed was amazingly comfy and the room was so lovely and clean, a great reassurance for my first time in a BnB post pandemic. The lady who served breakfast was very friendly and pleasant. It was very easy to find as well. Also the text saying my room would be ready sooner than expected was marvellous :) Oh and the radiator worked really well which was such a blessing after a soggy afternoon! I love the contactless check in too.

The window in the bathroom was very stiff and hard to open and close. I saw there was a newer window put in the bedroom as well as the original and wonder if this could be an option for future as even though it wasn't overly warm, I like to have an easy to open window for peace of mind ( claustrophobia). Appreciate if its listed building this would be hard.

Henry guest house was lovely, it was cosy and in a great location. We could walk to wherever we were going and be back safely. The room was clean, comfortable, and stocked up with tea if we wanted to have some. I really liked the little pictures up on the walls, they were nice to look at. The staff was friendly (I think the ladies name who made the breakfast was Christina), she was kind and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was filling and delicious, I don’t usually eat a filling breakfast so that was a nice experience. I was also happy with Henry guest house letting me and my friend leave our luggage there even after our checkout so we could do our daily activity without having to lug around our bags.

I wouldn’t say there was something I didn’t like. It was more of a me issue, getting used to a new environment as I couldn’t sleep much during the first night because of the noises from other guests, as the stairs are slightly loud. But the second night I slept much better.

Fantastic central location near to the train station and everything. Clean, pretty rooms with comfy beds, friendly and helpful staff and outstanding breakfast.

This is so so minor, it was so amazing honestly the only thing I can think of that they could maybe consider changing is they gave us so much food at breakfast - a full plate of croissants and fruit salad on top of the delicious food made to order order that we couldn’t manage it all and felt a bit guilty about wasting it, maybe the croissants and fruit could be on the menu to order too?
