Great location for accessing the centre of Bath. Delightful spacious period property - felt like staying in a family home (which is what it is!). Stunning views across Bath. Good communication with host prior to arrival. Tea and coffee making facilities.

Wasn't expecting a shared bathroom - probably not paying full attention when I booked. I think they do have en-suite rooms available as well as ours which shared. It wasn't really a problem, but it would be nice to provide a bathrobe to facilitate a modest visit to the loo at night. We hadn't come prepared. That said, the bathroom had the best view ever of Bath! Parking is a complete pain - not the host's fault. You may be lucky finding a nearby unrestricted space, but be prepared for a 15 minute walk up the hill out of the central zone to find more accessible and reasonable parking. Or use the Lansdown park and ride. Or come by train. Bigger TV please - you can't really see the provided one from the bed. Overall it felt a bit expensive - but not outrageously so. We enjoyed our stay.

The location was great and the host was lovely. He was very kind and made sure we were comfortable. We had a delicious breakfast there and were able to relax and drink our teas calmly in their beautiful garden. As a bonus point, the host also gives very good recommendations for restaurants and places to go to in Bath!

The bathroom is shared, which is always a bit more uncomfortable than having your own bathroom. We didn't have any issues because the other visitors used it at different times, but it is something to consider as it can be up to 6 people using that bathroom.

beautiful period property with spacious rooms and excellent views and décor. Peter our host was fantastic and friendly. full of information about the area and very helpful. made us feel so welcome and also offered to iron our clothes for the wedding we were attending so we had time to get ourselves ready. I have never had such a friendly host. lovely breakfast with couple from the other room and Peter and service was incredible. thank you so much Peter. We will be back soon!

can’t think of anything it was amazing

Peter was an exceptional host. He was friendly and helpful, when we asked about restaurant recommendations he gave some great advice, aswell as showing us photos on screen. Breakfast was delicious, and it was nice to meet other guests at the table. Peter also introduced us to his adorable cat Rosie. 💕 I am looking forwards to returning to visit the B & B again, I did joke about moving in I had enjoyed it so much!

The location was ideal, within easy reach of the main attractions. Breakfast was just right before setting off in the morning. Spotlessly clean throughout and a perfect host who was happy to suggest places to eat and full of local knowledge. What more can you ask for.

For myself, having not long had a hip replacement there are quite a few stairs to climb. - but took my time and certainly would not put me off to stay again.

Everything was just lovely. The house is well taken care of and the room is very cosy, nicely decorated and has a stunning view! The breakfast was simply delicious and the host was very welcoming and showed us parking spaces and everything!

Nothing really, only that the radiator in the bathroom didn’t really seem to work and the floor in there was very cold but I suppose it’s an old house and maybe some rooms are harder to heat.

breakfast was very good, poached egg on toast with mushrooms and tomatoes. Great way to start the day. Location of property was excellent, easily walking distance to centre of town. Host (Peter) was excellent extremely helpful.

Shared bathroom, although the bathroom was very good, I prefer ensuite bathroom. No onsite parking.

it was light airy clean and comfortable a lovely room with fantastic views and the owners who ran the B&B were very welcoming and friendly and provided a smashing breakfast

The weather was exceptionally hot and the room could have done with a fan. We are also opt used to the noise of traffic. so anyone coming to stay who lives in a quiet location may benefit from some earplugs
