The Scala Hotel0

What an absolute diamond of a hotel this was! Would never want to stay anywhere else in Blackpool, we will 100% be back! Linda and Tony were phenomenal hosts, nothing was too much and they made us feel right at home from the moment we stepped in the doors to the second we left. The bar service in the evening and lovely breakfast in the morning, were also the perfect way to relax in great company. Thank you Linda and Tony for looking after us, we look forward to seeing you again soon! Dan and Kim

We didn’t like that we had to leave and didn’t manage to stay another night!

Everything! The room was beautiful, the little fridge in the room was so handy, we even had a chaise in our room which was great to lounge on and use my laptop, while making full use of the free WiFi, which had a strong connection. Comfy beds, a big shower in the bathroom which was very nice, and the complimentary toiletries were a lovely added touch. Breakfast was fantastic, we liked that it is served later between 9-9:30 am, a great selection of cereals etc, hot filter coffee and juices. The cooked breakfast was delicious, hot, well cooked, the best fried eggs my mum's ever had! I'm lactose intolerant and this wasn't a problem, I was able to bring my own milk and butter alternatives, which they kept in the fridge for me. Tony and Linda are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble, we were welcomed with a smile and instantly felt at home. We had a parking space reserved for us at the front of the hotel which was great. We'll be back again soon!

The hotel was located just off the pleasure beach, in a quieter area of Blackpool, the hosts at this hotel are absolutely fabulous and friendly, nothing is to much trouble for them. There is a fully stocked bar, pool table and darts board, as well as a small sun lounge to play board games etc or just relax and have some quieter times. The rooms are clean and well equipped to meet your needs, with large tv, and small fridge. Breakfast is fantastic with hot full English, and cereal and toast, juices etc.

There is nothing these hosts can do to improve on the stay. Nothing is to much trouble for them.

Linda and Tony did so much for our stay, me and mandi would highly recommend staying, location to Blackpool was awesome, we just got a tram day ticket went up and down, easy to find on sat nav. They even went above and beyond and saved me a disabled parking spot. Breakfast they couldn't do enough for us, even did it early as I had to get home. Its all clean and drinks at the bar flow. Just remember the red bull next time Tony :) Looking forward to coming back.

Nothing had a lovely time.

Everything at this hotel is excellent, Tony and Linda are exceptional hosts they could not do enough for us. I have been going to Blackpool for over 25 years and I have never seen a b&b that come anywhere near as good as this, and the breakfast is second to none, both the quality and quantity is unbelievable, the room tvs are smart tvs and come with Netflix and you tube, the location is ideal it's just a 5 minute walk to the nearest tram stop.

Having to go home, honestly I don't have 1 single complaint.

Absolute gem, hotel is spotless, food fantastic, Tony and Linda could not be any friendlier, 2 minutes from the tram or bus stops, nice and quiet, 5 minutes from the pleasure beech, train station just around the corner, my wife and I booked a king size bed (room 9) it had a small fridge freezer large screen Lg smart tv, plenty of tea,coffes,hot chocolates two complimentary bottles of cold water every day, and a shower that works (unusual for blackpool), also benefits from having a lovely bar, pool table in it's own room and a lovely sun room. Already booked for September weekend. All in all got to be one of the best hotels I have stayed in if not the best. Can't thank you enough Tony/Linda, see you in September, many thanks. Linda and Tony are so helpful and friendly, the breakfast is absolutely fantastic, rooms are really comfortable and spotlessly clean, WiFi is really good and the location is brilliant, literally 5 minutes away from the tram and on the main strip, everything about Scala is first class, oh, I nearly forgot, the Art Deco style just adds to the ambience, fabulous stay, fabulous hosts, fabulous location, fabulous hotel, very highly recommend the Scala Hotel.

The couple who ran the hotel were really nice and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, and even had a mini fridge (handy for alcohol). It was in the perfect location. Only minutes away from the rail station and a short walk away from the Pleasure Beach amusements :). I also liked the little touches from the 1920s. It had a lovely, 1920s art deco-like bar downstairs too. Breakfast was fresh.

The room was a little plain. And it was all the way at the top floor. Would have preferred herby Cumberland or Yorkshire sausages with the breakfast.

The hotel was beautifully decorated in Art Deco style. It was clean and looked fresh throughout. Our room was very comfortable, clean and very well presented with all the extras you need including a small fridge. Parking on site was an added bonus. The breakfast was superb. Plenty of cereal selection and juices. Excellent pot of tea and a cracking full English with toast and jams. Blackpool’s main attractions only a short walk or tram ride away. Linda and Tony made us feel very welcome and we will definitely be returning.

Struggling to find something, it was as described on the tin…

Breakfast included a good choice. There were cereals, tea, coffee, pure fruit juice followed by full English. Really nicely cooked breakfast, excellent farm black pudding, lovely crisp hash browns, nicely cooked fried eggs, properly fried mushrooms and nicely grilled tomato. The toast was piping hot and thick with a choice of marmalade and jams. Tony was attentive to refills of coffee/tea and toast. Location is quiet yet very close to the beach and tram stop. The pleasure beach round the corner, you can see the roller coasters from the street. The railway station is also two minutes walk away.
