The staff were very helpful and friendly. Clean and comfortable rooms. Loved the old school aesthetic and amenities.

One night I found it difficult to get the front door open to get inside and was in a bit of a panic as no one was around. Eventually another guest came out and explained the door can be quite stiff. A warning of that would be helpful.

Very friendly staff, much more helpful than pre-pandemic closure. Room was clean, comfortable & the lift is a total bonus! These guys have only recently taken over so are still bringing everything up to scratch, but are friendly, helpful & deserve all praise for a splendid effort. We have already booked for the fireworks/ illuminations. Many thanks St Elmo.

Not serving food at the moment, which is a pity, but Wetherspoons is literally around the corner so didn,t spoil anything.

Very friendly and efficient staff. This hotel is well run by manager who was excellent. I would very much recommend this hotel as it is great value for money. We chose to use the restaurant for dinner and was impressed with the selection and quality of the food. We look forward to revisiting soon. Many thanks for a good holiday.

The hotel was clean everywhere, there is.parking available on site. The room was clean, beautifully white bed linen, ample space to put your clothes away. Bathroom was small but lots of rails to hang towels on and they supplied shower gels and shampoo. Shower was easy to work and heated up.fast and never went to a trickle after a few minutes. Tea and coffee tray with cups and milk, awesome. Huge tv... just very impressed

Only thing I'd say, I would defo bring mattress protectors as some small stains on mattresses, Ear plugs might be worth packing from the onsite xxx entertainment early in the morning from the room above.

We absolutely loved this place was so friendly it was old fashioned but I absolutely love that about places this hotel is also wheelchair friendly i hired a mobility scooter and this hotel kindly let me charge it the 2 nights I stayed they also have a lift witch is good for people with poor mobility Also the pleasure beach is on your door step and the water park is also at the top of the street there is also takeways and a premier shop on the same street also a café for breakfast on a morning we went to weatherpoons thats also round the corner (beautiful breakfast) we came with all my family we just met up but they were up the North pier side thats were they were staying so it was mostly walking up and down for us but we didn't mind I will definitely be returning in the near future thank you so much for a pleasant stay

No lamp in the room but didn't affect us

What we loved most about this hotel was how friendly, warm and welcoming the staff are. It was my birthday and the gentleman who checked us in wished me a happy birthday and gave me chocolate and a card- that's above and beyond what I have experienced at other hotels and made my birthday memorable. Thank you again! We were also very happy with the cleanliness and comfort of our room and the tea and coffee facilities. It was just what we needed after a busy day at the Pleasure Beach (which is less than five minute walk away!) We would definitely stay again and hope to come back to Blackpool soon.

We were very happy with our stay.

The hotel was a bit outdated and needed a good dusting on stairs.. but all saying beds were so comfy. Bedding was clean nice white towels with no stains and fluffy.. but heating was little electric heater. It was freezing but they made the room warm. We would go back..its not got any hot food but maccies literally round corner and fairground round other corner...so if your looki g for somewhere to just put yout head its perfect..

Cleaning could be better.. like on dado and on stairs edge was really dirty and dusty.. Blinds in bedroom didnt close properly they wouldnt be that hard to fix and a cheap fix too.. we got changed in bathroom and street light kept room lit so not having to switch light on to get to toilet but not too bright that it kept us wake..

really smooth check in, was allowed to leave bags prior to check in. room was very big and even having a lift was amazing. the view from our room was looking out over to pleasure beach and beds was clean and super comfortable. location couldn't of been better as theres shops and takeaways literally on the same street. was perfect and just what we was looking for when picking a hotel just for the night. en suite was a decent size too.

it got cold in the room in the night, and i the early morning as we was getting ready to check out, could of done with having the heating on at night but it wasn't unbearable when in the beds. this was the only reason for not giving 10/10.

Location was great, 24 hour carpark pretty much opposite the hotel (Bond Street Car Park,) staff were friendly, private shower and toilet, loads of space in the room, free Wi-Fi, TV with plenty of channels, table & chairs in the room & it was great for what we needed.

Although everything else seemed clean there was lots of black mould on the shower hose, no food option & no hot food allowed in the rooms and the bed was too hard for me but I prefer a really soft bed.

My room was very warm wich was lovely but having a window that opens all the way out was a blessing as i get too warm at times without a window open. Bed was super comfy and soft and had an amazing sleep. Hotel owner was also very nice and understanding when i broke some glass in the room and he came in and cleaned it up on the 1st day! Cant recommended highly enough especially if your coming for pleasure beach as its a stones throw away from the hotel!!
