The Marsden Hotel

Myself and my grandson stayed for 4 nights and we had the most amazing time .the Marsden is in an ideal spot the beach and pleasure Beach are right on the door step ..Christine and Leon are fabulous proper down to earth and really easy to get on with and make your stay very welcoming ..breakfast was fab my grandson NEVER eats breakfast but he ate breakfast every morning here and eat the lot so it definitely was good for him to eat it and wolf it down ..his exact words were nana why cant you do breakfast like this .(cheeky he is 😊) ..bedroom was just right for us both .. we would both definitely stay here again next time we are in Blackpool and highly recommend it ..definitely fab for familys ...thank you Christine and Leon for making are stay tremendously fabulous 👌 .. Can't fault it ...everything was spot on .

The hotel was lovely and so clean, everything you need. Breakfast was brilliant to fill us up for our busy day and there was plenty on offer. The owners were so welcoming and made you feel like you had known them forever. We had a double room which wasn't massive but suited our needs perfectly. En suite bathroom which was great the shower was always hot, tv in the room, place to make a cuppa with cups tea coffee and sugar all there for you to use. Bedding was beautifully clean as were the towels. I wouldn't hesitate booking again in future. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marsden 😁

We stayed for one evening last weekend. We booked a family room , double room and a single .. met by host on arrival.who was extremely welcoming and friendly.. He helped us park up in the carpark ..which is tight but manageable .. the rooms were fabulous for our one night stay ..spotless clean and plenty of room for our requirements.. breakfast was included and can honestly say was amazing, nothing too much trouble , even catered for my 2 year old grandson...checkout was smooth and again hosts were great.. Highly recommend this hotel , and will definitely staying again ..😘🌞

Rooms were very warm .. but to be honest it was during a September hot spell ..so totally out owners control

The hotel owners, Christine & Leon, we’re so welcoming, friendly & helpful, and you can genuinely see that ensuring their guest have the best stay means a lot to them! I came to stay here for 1 night, with my 8 year old daughter, my friend & her 2 young sons, and we were all really enjoyed our time here! Rooms were very clean & modern, and also perfect size! Fantastic location for Sandcastles waterpark & Blackpool pleasure beach, so hotel ideal for family’s especially! To top the stay off we were served a lovely breakfast in the morning, which we all enjoyed!We will all most definitely stay here again & highly recommended to it others!

Nothing!

Leon and Christine where absolutely wonderful hosts. So friendly and down to earth and nothing was too much for them. Really helpful. It was very close to the train station, and near the south pier, wonderful location. A fish and chip shop on the street and a premier shop also close by. Felt like home from home the minute we walked in. Smelt lovely, room was big enough for 2 adults and a child, lovely and clean all around the hotel. Breakfast was plenty big enough, came quick and lovely and hot. Very very happy, and will absolutely be back again!

Great hosts, Christine is so lovely and Leon very patient with sorting the parking 🤣 Felt very welcome and whole place is spotless and well kept. We had a room with double and single bed, its a lil snug, but cosy, decent shower, nice bathroom and has tea/coffee making facilities. Nice lounge downstairs if you want to chill. Very impressed with the breakfast. Lovely clean plate of well cooked food. Fresh orange, cereal and big pot tea/coffee. Breakfast included in the price of stay. We felt that our stay was excellent value and would have been happy to pay a higher rate 🥰🥰

Surpassed our expectations.

Absolutely brilliant!! We only stayed for 1 night but wish we had booked more! Location for us was spot on, minutes from the pleasure beach! We didn't want to come home. We stayed in the family room, shower was superb, beds were clean and comfortable... Leon guided us in to the free parking available around the back... its a squeeze but absolute gem saving ££ as parking in Blackpool is extortionate, on the morning of our departure Leon also guided us to the free parking on the side streets! Legend!! Christine is so friendly and welcoming, honestly could NOT fault the place! Will 100% be back!!

Nothing at all we really enjoyed our stay!

Leon and Christine were both very welcoming. The hotel was clean, comfy and modern. In the evenning the hotel remained quiet and the room was warm in the evening. I would recommend for families, as it is close to the waterpark, fair, southpier and weatherspoon.

Parking is accessible by a very tight drive way. Which was daunting for a less confident driver like myself, but the owner was very helpful to assist with the parking issue. So, this was not really a problem for me and did not impact my stay in anyway.

From the get go everything was perfect, when we arrived I forgot my card pin which the owner kindly split the payments so I could do contactless huge help THANKYOU! Kids loved their stay and didn’t want to leave when it was time to go so clean shower was amazing as my daughter commented on, the beds was so comfy, breakfast was yummy evan the children had full English and extra cereal haha, the host are amazing people and so welcoming, we really did feel soo comfortable and at home, Thankyou very much for having us and for the shells the kids have them on there shelves, this is great value for money also. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND and from now on this will be our go to hotel when we stay again in Blackpool, thanks again we really loved our stay.

No negativity everything was perfect.

Leon and Christine were the perfect hosts. They clearly know what they’re doing and we just loved them instantly. We got a bargain one night stop over on the way to Scotland. The hotel is right next to the pleasure beach. we had private parking too. I’m a veggie and the breakfast was spot on. Proper full English and veggie one for me with cereals etc. The room was small, functional and clean. This is an old skool B&B, with a little bar and lounge. If you want a bargain, great hosts and a cracking breakfast, book in. You can’t get a better location. we will be coming back for a weekend with the kids next time. Thanks for a fab night guys
